The ancestor dragon was completely stuck in his thoughts as he did not understand what to do next. Hesitation filled his heart, and he can’t decide between apologising,Kent or maintaining his pride.

“Elder, Speak your choice. My baby dragon or your daughter?” Kent called out again in a grim tone.

“There is no need for any compensation as I didn’t feel any struggle. I will be glad if you leave me and my dragon in peace.” Kent replied in a soft tone and took a step forward in the direction of the Palace master.

But the ancestor dragon blocked Kent and said, “No, no… ask me anything. The mistake is on my side. I won’t feel good until I compensate you well enough.”

Kent felt surprised by the persuasive tone of the old Dragon. He clearly understood there must be a strong reason behind the strange behaviour of the ancestor dragon.

So, Kent decided to play hard and test the limit of the ancestor dragon. “As I said, I don’t want any compensation. I am happy with what I have, and I don’t need any favors from you.” Kent replied with a serious face.

The entire Gallery of spectators were staring at this scene in stunned silence. They did not understand what was going on.

Meanwhile, the ancestor dragon continued to persuade Kent with all his skills. But Kent repeatedly ignored him like a pest.

“Young man, don’t be like this. I already apologised for the mistake and am willing to compensate you with whatever you ask. Please don’t make this hard on this old man.” The ancestor dragon said, in the most respectful tone.

“Sorry, elder. You should also understand my situation. I currently don’t need any favors. I am really good with what I have. Please leave me now. I have more important matters to attend to.” Kent replied casually while putting on a struggling expression.

“Young man, let’s not complicate the situation. How about this? I will give you the Dragon blade. It is an unbreakable and half-sovereign weapon. You can become a powerful being in the nine realms with it.” The ancestor dragon suggested while showing the dragon blade to Kent.

But Kent Shook his head. ” I am an arch-magus. Why do I need a blade?” Kent asked with a dissatisfied face.

“Then take this. It is the summoning crystal. Whenever you show this crystal, I will personally lead the entire dragon race to help you against any enemy. Please understand my sincerity. I am crossing my limits, to give you this.” The ancestor dragon proposed while showing a gleaming dark crystal pendant with black chain.

Kent felt a little temptation after hearing the proposal of dragon ancestor. The dragons will be a great help for him during the war of nine realms. But he decided to reject it as he thought the old dragon had more things to offer.

“Elder, you don’t have to do this. Why suffer all your dragons for the sake of a common person like me? I’m just a human and you are a mighty dragon. While I appreciate your offers, I can’t accept this from the great ancestor dragon.” Kent replied in a high sounding tone to push the ancestor dragon out of his limits.
