The sky, once blood-red, suddenly turned a blinding white. A searing bolt of white lightning crashed down upon the War God statue, splitting the heavens with its ferocity.
For a moment, everything seemed to stand still as an overwhelming presence filled the atmosphere. Before Kent’s eyes, a shadow began to take form, glowing brighter and brighter until a colossal figure appeared above the statue—a vision of the War God himself, his divine aura radiating across the land.
Immediately, the sacred energy began pressing down on everything with an undeniable weight. The onlookers, both mortal and cultivators, fell to their knees in reverence. Even the lesser gods, who had watched with skepticism and disdain, now bowed their heads in humility.
Loud drum sound accompanied with the chanting of God of Music. All lesser gods and demi-gods began chanting the scriptures, pleasing to the war god’s presence.
“The mighty ruler of the world, protector of the gods, and the one who brings auspiciousness,” they chanted, voice trembling with reverence.
“Lord, master of life, all-pervading one, ruler of the universe, protector of the world, and lord of all gods, The all-knowing one, known through the ancient times, and the supreme being who fulfills desires. I worship you, the auspicious one, the benefactor, and the embodiment of bliss, who dwells in all realms.”
The war drums began to beat, their peculiar rhythm resonating with the divine presence in the air. The chanting of the gods intensified, their voices weaving together in perfect harmony.
The sound filled the blessed land, echoing through the mountains and valleys, a symphony of praise that made the very earth tremble.
Blinded by the intense white light, Kent raised a hand to shield his eyes, peeking through the gaps between his fingers. The onlookers, too, saw nothing but a brilliant whiteness filling their vision, their senses overwhelmed by the divine manifestation.
The gods continued their praises, their voices a constant melody.
As the chanting reached its zenith, the white light began to recede, condensing into a single point above the War God statue. Slowly, the form of a human-like figure began to take shape, just a few feet away from Kent.
Kent’s heart raced, each beat echoing with the enormity of what was unfolding before him.
“Boom!”
Another bolt of lightning struck, and in its wake, a divine being materialized before Kent. The presence of war god was immense, towering above the land with an aura of unchallenged authority.
A nine-headed white serpent loomed behind him, its hoods stretched wide like an umbrella, its scales gleaming with otherworldly brilliance.
The War God stood with eighteen hands—nine on each side—each holding a different sacred artifact.
His face was stern, his eyes burning with an intensity that seemed to pierce through Kent’s soul.
The War God’s central head was human, regal and stern, but surrounding it were four other heads, each representing a different beast: a dragon, a lion, a serpent, a bird, and the original human face, each exuding its own unique power.
Kent’s breath caught in his throat as he fell to his knees, his body trembling with awe and reverence. He bowed deeply, his forehead touching the ground.
“Sovereign of all beings, lord of all creation, protector of the realms, I humbly bow my head to your greatness.” [This chanting is in spell language, which is a common practice to utter this spell while visiting temples.]
The War God’s gaze softened slightly as he raised one of his hands. A golden lotus, shimmering with a divine glow, materialized in the air and hovered gently over Kent’s head.
A surge of energy flowed from Lotus, his entire being enveloped in a cascade of rainbow colors. His cultivation soared, breaking through the Mortal Sovereign realm. It didn’t stop there, Kent directly stepped in the Supreme Magus realm.
His mana channels expanded, becoming vast and sturdy, infused with the essence of all elements. The sensation was overwhelming, yet Kent felt a calm resolve settle in his heart.
The War God then extended another hand, his finger glowing with divine light. He gently placed it on Kent’s forehead. The moment their contact was made, Kent’s understanding of the elements deepened, each of his Dao paths reaching a state of perfection.
The knowledge and power of the elements, once fragmented and elusive, now flowed through him like a mighty river.
“Your potential is limitless. Use it wisely, to ascend this mortal life.” The War God intoned.
“I will not fail you.” Kent said, his voice filled with gratitude.
The War God’s expression remained serene as he raised yet another hand, this time stretching it out toward the sky.
With a gesture, a bow began to materialize in the air before him. The weapon was unlike anything Kent had ever seen—a magnificent bow with a dragon’s head carved into one end and a lion’s head at the other. The craftsmanship was flawless, the details so intricate that the creatures seemed almost alive.
“This is the Sacred Dragon-Lion Bow crafted by 7 sacred sages,” the War God declared, his voice resonating through the blessed land. “Forged from the essence of the strongest beast souls, it is a weapon of unparalleled power. Only those with a true warrior’s heart can wield it.”
Kent stared at the bow surprisingly as the bow string was absent. The war god smiled, understanding Kent’s thoughts. Then the War God rose his hand once more, this time to Kent’s own forehead.
The divine being’s fingers glowed with a bright, otherworldly light as he delved into Kent’s soul, searching for something deep within.
Kent felt a stirring within him, a presence that had been dormant for so long. The War God’s touch coaxed it out, drawing forth the Ancestor Phoenix Spirit that resided within Kent’s soul. The majestic spirit, a being of fire and rebirth, emerged, its wings spread wide.
The War God’s hand moved from one end of the bow to the other, and as he did, the ancestor Phoenix Spirit transformed into a bowstring, its fiery essence binding the weapon together. The Dragon-Lion Bow was now complete, radiating a fierce, divine energy that seemed to hum with life.
Kent’s hands shook as he reached out to receive the bow, his heart pounding in his chest. He could feel the weight of its power, the immense responsibility that came with wielding such a weapon. As he took hold of it, the bow pulsed in his hands, its energy flowing into him, merging with his own.
The War God’s voice was softer now, almost gentle. “This bow has its own pride. Weak humans and beasts can’t even survive its bow string sound. So, use this carefully.” Continue your adventure with empire
Kent nodded, while receiving the Sacred Dragon-Lion bow. Lightning streaked across the bow as Kent held the bow tightly.
