Chapter 1911: Suspicion

While waiting, Nathan pointed to each of the girls. "So, who wants to go around?"

As he expected, all four of them raised their hands. "You’re not going to raise your hand, Machina?"

"I am Master’s assistant. I shall remain by your side," Machina answered without hesitation.

Nathan chuckled. "Well, in that case, you four can go. Machina will be with me. If possible, I want access to the library and Machina... can you, like... how do I say this?"

"Don’t worry, Master. I can scan them. I can even summarize everything for you."

"Right?! In that case, please." Nathan nodded. "Flora and Noelle will go together. You can do whatever you want, but please try to figure out the entire situation, especially about the gods in this world. Luna and Iris will focus on this so-called transmutation as well as the materials in this world."

"Understood." Noelle accepted, while Flora asked, "What are you going to do then?"

"I’m looking for everything, including the political structure. However, I’m more interested in the information about the Great Void or the alien world. I hope that the true gods in this world know about it."

Not long after, Elright returned to the guest room. In the end, Nathan and Flora were the ones coming.

Elright brought him to another room where they met a middle-aged man. Both Nathan and Flora immediately sensed the power of rules within him. He realized that the man in front of them wasn’t someone that could be underestimated.

On the other hand, the middle-aged man was a bit confused. When he tried to scan them, he couldn’t find anything.

’Captain Elright believes that this man is the strongest among his group. Is it because I am too weak to even perceive his strength? Me?’

The middle-aged man fell silent for a moment before politely saying, "It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Sedhera Golzok, the lord of this castle."

Nathan smiled. "It’s nice to meet you. I am Nathan and this is my wife, Flora."

The middle-aged man felt it suspicious that Nathan didn’t reveal his family name. Nevertheless, his group had managed to take down one of the most troublesome aliens in their territory.

"I’ve heard about the situation. I’d like to express my gratitude for helping my knights. I’d like to invite you to a humble dinner if you don’t mind."

"Of course." Nathan smiled. He wanted to know more about this world, so it would be better to stay here for a moment.

’I can just release my power until those gods find me, but I’ve read so many novels showing how it is a bad idea.’

Nathan still remembered the scene where a certain young master arrogantly released his power, thinking nothing of the locals. Then, when they were defeated, their fate was quite miserable.

If there were a proper channel to meet those true gods, he wanted to go through that channel rather than forcing his way and creating unnecessary problems.

"I’ve heard from Captain Elright that you wish to visit the library."

"If you allow me, then yes. I like to read books."

"In that case, allow me to invite you as guests to my castle." Lord Golzok nodded with a calm smile. He rang the bell as an old butler entered. "Please bring our guests to their rooms. Also, fulfill what they need."

"Understood." The butler nodded. "This way, Your Excellency."

As soon as Nathan and Flora left the room, the atmosphere turned tense.

"The guests this time are quite special."

"My lord?" Elright raised his eyebrows, wondering what he was talking about. "Is he... a Transmutation King?"

"I can’t even sense their power. Are you sure this man is the strongest?"

"I haven’t seen him using his power, but he’s the one calling the shots. The woman, on the other hand, cut down all the aliens in just a single draw of her sword. I can’t even see its sword path."

Lord Golzok fell silent for a moment before saying, "They might have surpassed that realm."

"!!!" Elright widened his eyes in shock. "Do you mean... they are gods?"

"Most likely. However, I haven’t heard anything about a group of human gods like this. There are two possibilities. The first is that they have been hiding their identities all this time. The second possibility is that they’re not from this world."

"I..." Elright looked down, realizing he had made a mistake by bringing them here.

"You did well leading them here. To prove my theory, I have no choice but to call that god to confirm it. If this is an invasion, it might change the situation completely. If this is not an invasion, we have to first figure out what they want."

"What should I do?"

"For now, just serve them with whatever they need. I am going to make a report first."

"Understood." Elright nodded with a serious expression.

"I think we should begin with the left one." Machina had scanned the room, looking at the titles of each book.

Machina walked toward the shelf and took out a book. "I think this is what you want to know first, Master."

"Transmutation Basics."

"Let me scan it first." Machina opened the book, scanning it quickly. In less than five minutes, she finished scanning the book. "Summarizing. This world is called Reinkepel. There are many races living here, but there are five that are particularly important. Humanity consists of 50% of the population, but they are not the strongest.
