Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1771: Turning Familiars into Gods

Chapter 1771: Turning Familiars into Gods

"Can you do that?" Nathan asked.

Gregory looked down, contemplating. "I think I can do it. The research is originally for the aliens, not humans. So, it shouldn’t be hard to slightly adjust them depending on their structure.

"After all, the genetic structure is still similar. When I changed it for humans, I had to adjust the genetics from an alien to a human. But this time, all I had to change was the body structure."

Nathan asked, "How long do you need for each alien?"

"As long as it’s not a very massive alien, it shouldn’t take more than a few days."

"How about this alien?" Nathan brought the small alien that inhabited Asura’s body. Other mummies also had this kind of alien in their bodies.

After cleaning up everything, they had secured all the aliens and the cores.

Gregory looked at the alien, slightly bigger than a human’s head. The alien had curled up, so he could see that this alien might have been hiding in a human’s brain and spine like a worm.

"Hmmm..." Gregory carefully examined the alien. "I can’t say for sure, but the rough estimate is about two days for this alien. As for an alien as big as a mountain, as long as I receive help in applying the solution, I might be able to do it in five days to a week."

"In that case, I need you to start working immediately. I will give you all the alpha class aliens for you to do it."

"Alpha class..." Gregory widened his eyes. He looked at the alien in his hand. "My lord... This is an alpha class alien?"

"Yes. My group had defeated a few apex class aliens, but we didn’t know about the importance of their corpses back then. So, we didn’t secure it. For now, alpha class aliens. If we could encounter another apex class alien, we would let you do it as well."

Gregory’s eyes brightened. He was confused not long ago.

After all, he thought that he would be working for Nathan in his base, creating medicine and helping people for him. However, Nathan actually brought him to the front line.

More importantly, he saw a few people whose identities needed to be hidden. There was even an alien among them.

"My lord... Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure."

"What is our relationship with the aliens? Aren’t they supposed to be enemies?"

Nathan raised his eyebrows.

"If I shouldn’t ask that, I apologize. Treat it as if I had never asked you this question."

"It’s not necessarily something forbidden for you to know. However, I need you to keep it a secret."

"I will definitely take this secret to my grave. There won’t be any trace of writing as well." Gregory nodded with a solemn face.

Nathan nodded back. "Very well. After looking at that research, you should know that the black cell and the aliens are two different entities, right?"

"Yes. The black cell is like a parasite."

"Indeed. The black cell originated from one single black cell that took over the strongest being in this reality. Originally, those aliens were just a race like humans. They have a higher level of civilization, which allows them to travel through worlds.

"However, because of the existence of the black cell, everything changed. The black cell controlled the aliens. Those who weren’t infected by the black cell should still be resisting the black cell, fighting against their own kin.

"That alien, Crotto, is one of the aliens who hasn’t been parasitized. They’re making a deal with us to help them deal with the black cell.

"If we don’t do it, the black cell will destroy this world."

"!!!" Gregory dropped his jaw. Nathan dropped the information casually, but the meaning of that information was earth-shattering. It was no wonder that Nathan wanted to keep it a secret.

It could mess with people’s minds.

"I understand, my lord. I’ll definitely keep it a secret."

Nathan waved his hand. "In that case, I will return in two days. I need to research something else."

"Yes, my lord. I’ll definitely not disappoint you."

Nathan headed elsewhere. He didn’t have to establish his time domain anymore.

After Evelyn knew about the transition portal, the Asura Palace and their mansion were only one teleportation away.

It might take some energy, but it was fine to go back and forth between the Asura Palace and their mansion. This way, the girls could utilize the time domain near the mansion in their spare time.

Nathan first organized everything so that they could head out after his research was completed.

Two days later.

Nathan returned to Gregory.

"How is it?" Nathan asked.

"It is done, my lord. It’s actually easier than I imagined." Gregory walked to another spot and showed not one but two aliens. "I have done with the two of them."

"Oh!" Nathan nodded and patted Gregory’s shoulder, satisfied with his work.

He brought one of them and walked outside before summoning Fenrir, Anubis, Mae, Xolotl, Tiamat, and Garuda.

Gregory was startled, especially because of Tiamat, due to her size.

Nathan showed it to everyone. "What do you think?"

"The black cell has been cleansed, but there’s still a part of the will from the alien itself." Xolotl answered without hesitation.

"So, it doesn’t work?" Garuda asked.

"Can we somehow purify the soul?" Anubis narrowed his eyes.

Fenrir harrumphed. "This can work. Just use your Soul Contract and it should be done. Still, we need a vessel to contain the energy."

"Well, we will just use the Soul Contract as the vessel. It has worked until now. Besides, the vessel of the Soul Contract is purely made out of ena." Nathan nodded.

"That works as well." Fenrir agreed.

"In that case, I should observe as well. I need to make sure that this won’t be a poison to their bodies." Tiamat accepted the plan.

"Very well." Nathan summoned his Soul Contract.

"My lord. What do you..." Gregory gasped.

"Ah! Since you’re going to be in charge of removing the black cell, I guess you have the right to know about it as well." Nathan smiled. "I’m planning to turn familiars into gods."
