Chapter 1665: Humans vs Aliens
Chapter 1665: Humans vs Aliens
"Kill them all!" Nathan shouted as he and his wives summoned their familiars.
They launched an all-out attack from the side.
However, the aliens were already on high alert. They immediately used their unique abilities at the same time.
Even Tiamat’s power was stopped by five elite class aliens working together. They used their respective unique abilities to somehow negate her power.
Nevertheless, the alien army split. Most elite class aliens moved toward Nathan’s group, knowing full well they were the most dangerous threat in this battlefield.
The remaining aliens continued to march forward.
The aliens fell into the ditches. Then, more aliens fell into the ditches, their falls causing the aliens before them to dislocate their limbs.
With more and more aliens falling into the ditches, the aliens at the bottom couldn’t escape. The injuries were most likely more than enough to kill them gradually.
The aliens at the top weren’t that lucky either. Their bodies were stepped over by so many aliens that they were actually the first ones to die.
The first ditch alone might have killed thousands, if not tens of thousands, due to how far they stretched.
Then, there were still other ditches that would slow them down and kill more aliens.
Even so, the aliens had received the order from their leaders to kill these humans. They could do nothing but continue onward.
"Kill them!" Regina and Ternius gave an order.
The soldiers aimed the magic guns and fired at the aliens.
Bam!
Bam!
Bam!
The magic guns were much more powerful than normal arrows. They killed so many proto-class aliens and even injured the juvenile class aliens.
Still, compared to the scale of the army, it barely put a dent in them.
So, they continued showering the aliens with bullets while the ditches slowed them down.
"!!!" Regina looked down and swung her sword downward, sending forth a crescent-shaped sword strike to the ground.
It cut deep underground. It looked like an unnecessary attack, but suddenly, blood spurted out of the ground. The ground started to crumble as a big tentacle emerged from the ground.
Even though Nathan’s group had managed to grab the attention of most of the elite class aliens, there were still some elite class aliens coming toward them.
"Continue. We will kill them here!" Regina shouted. She would protect the wall for the time being, ensuring that no alien would come to destroy this fortress. The lower-level aliens would have no choice but to come to the wall directly and start clashing with the soldiers. After all, Regina couldn’t waste her energy on the lower-level aliens and cause the higher-level ones to wreak havoc after exhausting all her energy.
The soldiers knew this was going to happen, so they focused on bringing down as many aliens as possible.
Once they reached the last ditch, the soldiers on the second line were ready to take over. They were close-combat fighters, equipped with swords and spears. They were ready to stop the aliens while other soldiers took them down as they intended.
Ternius looked around. With this development, they should be able to hold out for a few hours.
"Hopefully, this will be enough to kill at least ten percent of their number. The most important question will be how many elite class aliens Nathan’s group can slay..." Ternius sighed.
When he saw this army, he thought there was no way the humans could win.
But when he looked at Nathan’s group, he thought they had a chance, a very high chance.
However, this was only half of the army. He wondered how Gratzel was going to stop this kind of army by themselves.
’Does their continent have more summoners like them? In that case, Gratzel is a very scary continent. I can’t believe Nathan once said this continent is stronger than his continent...
’Or maybe his group is just too weird?’ Ternius couldn’t imagine the destructive power that Nathan’s group possessed.
If this were a war against the dynasty, Nathan could simply split his force. With the teleportation ability around, Nathan could set up an ambush and overwhelm their force one at a time. Unless they concentrated everything in one spot, it was going to be impossible to stop him.
But after concentrating all their manpower into a single spot, Nathan could just starve them. At that time, the dynasty would cease to exist.
Ternius could only let out a sigh of relief. It was fortunate that Nathan was their ally.
To ensure that the relationship continued, they really needed to win this battle.
However, winning proved to be easier than done.
Nathan activated his ability, trying to crush the entire area with his power.
Yet one alien used telekinesis to shake things up, another alien used invisibility to come closer to distract Nathan, another alien stretched its power to Nathan to weaken him, another alien used its unique ability to strengthen the area.
There were three other elite class aliens that would come to stop him.
Even with his divine rule, he couldn’t win against their combined power.
"..." Nathan squinted his eyes. The first blow was huge for them, but it wasn’t enough. As long as these aliens were working together, they could stop them.
Currently, Nathan and his familiars clashed with slightly over a hundred elite class aliens.
"He basically challenged 20% of their combat power alone, not to mention the numerous lower-level aliens that followed them.
Luna and Evelyn didn’t have divine familiars like him. Even with their extraordinary combat power, they only took 10% of the enemy by themselves. The rest of the girls were holding 3 to 5% of the enemy’s power.
But this was not enough. They might be able to stop them, but defeating them would take a lot of energy.
Even if they won, they might not have enough energy to handle the army on Gratzel.
Fortunately, Nathan had three weapons to solve this problem.
The first weapon was about to change the battlefield. And that weapon was none other than his disciple, Iris.
