“Blood Authority!”
Selena had been thinking about Nyx’s suggestion. To form her rule, it was best to concentrate her power into a single thing that could become the foundation of her rule.
So, she had been wondering what kind of item would be suitable to become her rule.
When she thought about it over and over, she kept reaching the same conclusion.
If she ever formed a rule, there was no need for it to be an item. She just had to use her own body to form that rule.
That was right. If she had to concentrate her power into one single form, she just had to concentrate it in its original form. Blood.
Yes, the rule she intended to make was related to her own blood.
The power burst out of her body. Blood veins started to appear on her skin as though they were having a hard time withstanding the surge of power from the blood.
Nyx smiled. Although there was a sign of the blood being uncontrollable by Selena and the fact that this power was still unstable, Nyx knew that Selena had a firm grasp of what she really wanted.
Selena locked her gaze on the elite class alien.
“!!!” The elite class alien felt like its body was being strangled from the inside. “Sheee?!”
Its mouth let out a cry before spurting blood.
“Tsk.” Selena clicked her tongue. She really had a hard time controlling this power.
Nyx simply said, “Good work. Your power is gradually approaching the power of rule. Just a bit more, you can form your own rule.”
“Let me kill it!” Selena’s expression turned resolute. She formed a ball of blood on top of her palm and let it fly toward the alien.
Nyx nodded and let the elite class alien go. She never really had that much interest in killing a weakling, so she just let this alien become the nourishment for Selena’s talent.
The alien rushed toward Selena.
While still enduring the ringing pain in her head, Selena controlled the blood that she had released earlier and turned it into a net.
The elite class alien simply punched it and dispersed the blood in all directions.
It was supposed to be a good decision as it let the alien reach Selena in the shortest time possible.
But Selena had expected this decision. The blood that formed the blood net was fully controlled by her.
Selena had crossed her arms and clenched her hands. Then, she waved both arms at the same time and loosened her hands.
As a result, the blood that had been dispersed earlier hardened and turned into a blade, slicing the alien from all directions.
“!!!” The alien was shocked. At the last moment, its instincts kicked in and twisted its body, but the blood blade almost cut it into pieces.
Once it was restrained by the blade, Selena extended her hand and swung her fingers as if she were something from below.
“!!!” The alien was shocked once again. It forcefully broke the blood blades just to throw its body to the side. The next thing that happened was its left arm suddenly bloating and imploding. “Sheee?!”
The alien let out a cry.
Selena then raised her right hand. “Rise!”
It turned out that all the attacks were just a distraction. She was just trying to buy enough time for her teammates to kill the lower-level aliens.
Then, the blood they spilled would become the source of her power.
The blood flowed up into the air and spread out to create a dome that isolated the elite class alien.
“…” Selena gritted her teeth. As expected, without using her energy to block the ringing pain, she had a hard time concentrating her power. At the same time, she could unleash all her power into her attack.
Selena took a deep breath as the alien stomped the ground to produce a shock wave strong enough to break the blood dome.
Selena was supposed to use this blood dome to finish the elite class alien, but since it had been destroyed, she chose the next best thing to use.
The blood that had been dispersed became her new weapon.
Selena drew a magic circle with all that blood.
“!!!” The alien found his body refusing to move. The magic circle got its power from the energy remaining within the blood.
Then, Selena cut her own finger and let the blood flow out and form a spear before throwing it toward the alien.
The alien panicked for the first time, sensing the amount of power contained within the spear. After all, Selena concentrated all her power into her blood, so this blood spear should be much stronger than anything she had released so far.
The alien was trying to use everything it had to break away from this restriction. Even if its body was twisting or breaking, the alien didn’t mind.
Fortunately for the alien, it managed to barely get away from Selena’s restriction.
The blood spear missed the alien and continued toward the fortress. The moment it touched the ground, the blood spear exploded, dispersing all the power of blood to its surroundings.
A third of the fortress was engulfed by the explosion and razed to the ground.
“!!!” This kind of attack didn’t belong to a normal world class summoner anymore.
Still, after using that power, Selena felt a bit weakened. She didn’t have full control over her new power yet. If she had, the elite class alien would have died at that moment.
The alien used this time to close in, bringing its tattered body to Selena.
Selena raised her hand, trying to stop the alien’s advance, but this time, Nyx appeared from the side.
Countless hands emerged from the ground and grabbed the alien. The alien tried to struggle, but this power contained Nyx’s divinity. It was at a level that Selena couldn’t compare.
The hands dragged the alien into the abyss and spat out a core a few seconds later.

Nyx smiled. “Good work. I’ll give you five minutes. Keep your power under control. Surely, you haven’t spent a lot of your energy, right?”
“Only 25% to 30%.” Selena nodded.
Nyx was satisfied. “Not bad for now. Continue. There are still a lot of aliens ahead to get used to your new power.”
