Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1306: Dream

Chapter 1306: Dream

Nathan and Evelyn chose to spend the rest of the days together in the city. It could be said this was their first official ’date,’ one that was completely unrelated to the mission.

Evelyn was considered the most beautiful woman on Gratzel, but she rarely wore anything other than her black uniform, as if she was just trying to remind herself that she was still fighting.

But she had changed. She could finally change into other clothes or, more like, she wanted to show them to Nathan.

It was different from the fake date when they shopped for clothes to get the attention of the local lord.

Nathan could feel the vibrant atmosphere around her. This time, the day was filled with smiles.

It completely changed the feel of the clothes. Nathan was mesmerized.

The contrast between her calm and composed face and her smile was too much even for Nathan.

Satisfied, they finally returned to the inn.

This might be the first time she had had fun like this, a different type of fun than when she was with Bella, as Evelyn didn’t notice she had been humming this whole time.

“Here you go.” Evelyn gave one cup to Nathan while holding another cup of tea for herself.

“Thanks.” Nathan didn’t say anything to interrupt her fun.

Unfortunately, the fun didn’t last long, as Evelyn remembered other important matters.

“Now that I think about it…” Evelyn stopped humming. “Do your girls know this? I don’t have any plans to monopolize you or anything. If not, I won’t even mention Bella…”

“They already know. You don’t have to worry about them. As long as you can get along with the others, it’s more than enough for me.”

“Is that so?” Evelyn tilted her head in confusion. Since she was several years older than them, it would be awkward when she introduced herself to them later.

She could imagine the awkwardness and the embarrassment stemming from it. But there was a saving grace. Bella. Yes, Bella’s cheerful atmosphere might be able to lessen the awkwardness.

Evelyn asked, “Now that I think about it, you still have a request from me, right? When were you planning to use it?”

Nathan looked up, contemplating. “Hmm. Should I use it? I don’t think there’s any point in using it anymore.”

“Well, I can guess what you were planning, but yeah… it might not be needed anymore.” Evelyn nodded in agreement.

“Don’t worry. They won’t bite you or anything. Or do you want me to use it on you so you can introduce yourself without getting embarrassed?” Nathan grinned, teasing her.

“!!!” Evelyn didn’t consider that idea. It was good, but ultimately she shook her head. “Don’t use it for something like that. How about using it to get something from me during your birthday?”

“I will consider it.” Nathan chuckled. “I wonder what I should ask you…”

“I’m getting scared now.” Evelyn also laughed before reminding him of something important. “Well, I don’t think I can be around for too long. At most, I can stay for three more days. What are we going to do tomorrow?”

“Hmm? Teleport to another city and have another date? It’s nice to have a rest every once in a while.”

“I don’t mind, but…” Evelyn pointed at him. “Don’t you forget something?”

“Hmm?” Nathan tilted his head in confusion. “Forget what?”

“Now that your elements have gotten stronger, don’t you think it’s time to start that project? You mentioned before that you would like to have a domain.”

“Ah!” Nathan definitely forgot about this. That was right. He wanted to have a domain.

With the help of Evelyn, his space element could grow just fine. In that case, it was time for him to make his domain.

Evelyn already had her domain when she forcefully combined both gravity and space elements to take down Garam Haygaiden.

On the other hand, Nathan’s power was slightly different from hers. So, the domain might be different as well.

There was also one more thing she was concerned about.

“Since you are able to switch your main element, doesn’t this mean you can have two domains?”

“Two domains?” Nathan definitely didn’t consider this. The domain he made using the Soul Contract was focused on the time element.

However, with his current element cores, he could focus on the space element and the time element.

“Now that you mention it, I might be able to create two domains. The first one will be a domain with the time element as the core, while the second one is the space element domain.

“There will be a trace of the secondary element, but it won’t influence much.” Nathan fell deep in thought.

“That’s right.” Evelyn raised two fingers. “I believe that having two domains is a must for you. At the same time, if you create two types of domain, it will be hard to do so. If we include the fact that you have to train two elements, master the manuals, train your bullet, and do all other things, it’ll take a lot of time.

“I mean, you definitely have a lot of time, considering you are 18 years old this year. If you plan to take your time, I don’t mind accompanying you like that, but…”

Nathan nodded. “I don’t think it will be possible.”

He hesitated for a moment, but it might be better to tell Evelyn the truth. “Actually, I had a dream, two times exactly.

“In my first dream, I saw an army of a thousand elite class aliens.”

“A dream? A thousand elite class aliens?” Evelyn was dumbfounded. “It might just be a dream, you know?”

Nathan shook his head. “As much as I want to believe it’s just a dream, this dream actually occurred before the world was covered in ashes. And in that dream, the world had been covered in ashes.”

“!!!” Evelyn’s body shook. It was impossible unless it was not a normal dream. Nathan had a time ability, which made it even weirder.

Of course, Evelyn didn’t know Nathan still didn’t have the time element back then. Besides, she wasn’t aware of the true identity of that dream.

But with everything she knew so far, a precognitive dream might be closer to the truth.

“So, you are saying we don’t have much time?” Evelyn asked with a solemn tone.
