Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1091: Homework

Chapter 1091: Homework

“Master. Don’t you think this is too much for homework? How long are you going to leave this time?” Iris shouted after witnessing the power of the new control.

“Not sure. Maybe a year?”

“Then, if I can do this in a year, will you bring me as well on your adventure?”

“Hmm?” Nathan raised his eyebrows before smiling. “I don’t know if that’s possible, but I can promise that you will at least be more active in it.”

“Then, you’re on.” Iris grinned, feeling fired up.

“In that case, let’s finish this, shall we?”

“Yeah. Let’s finish this!” Iris had been waiting as well. “Rys!”

Suddenly, a shadow emerged from behind Nathan, stabbing Nathan in the back.

“I have been waiting for you.” Nathan smirked.

“!!!” The dark elf widened her eyes. When she looked down, there was a thick barrier that stopped her dagger.

Even with her dark energy, it couldn’t pierce through such a simple barrier. If one took a closer look, the small barrier consisted of several smaller ones, which formed a much more solid barrier.

“Got you.” Nathan turned around and waved his left hand.

Suddenly, several smaller barriers appeared around her arm. They were like a lock that would stop her in the air.

More barriers formed around her legs, the other arm, neck, and even her torso.

She tried to avoid it, but the speed of Nathan making his barrier overwhelmed her. Ultimately, she got caught.

’I won’t be that easy to defeat!’ The dark elf’s eyes turned bloodshot. She unleashed her dark energy, cutting all the barriers that locked her body.

However, these barriers were never meant to capture her. They just needed to buy Nathan a split second.

During that time, Nathan extended his hand with a pistol sign, placing it on her forehead. “Bang!”

“!!!” The dark elf was startled. If this were a real fight, her head would have been blown off.

“This is the end for you, right?”

“…” The dark elf wanted to protest but ultimately lowered her head, knowing that it was the end of her.

The mithril golem didn’t want to waste her sacrifice. He formed more crystals toward Nathan, forcing him to jump.

Nathan jumped, but not too high to become Iris’ target. He jumped high enough to the top of the crystal and stepped on the tip of the crystal.

Then Nathan waved his other hand, creating three bullets with the new method.

The mithril golem raised both arms to block it, but the first bullet shattered the right arm, the second bullet destroyed the entire right shoulder, and the last one hit his side.

“My aim is better than that.” Nathan warned the mithril golem. If he wanted to, he could aim at his core, which would kill him.

“…” The golem dropped to the ground, knowing Nathan had defeated him.

The bullets were simply too powerful. It was several times more powerful than the shot Iris released to shatter Nathan’s barrier earlier.

There was no way he could block it.

With the golem down, the crystals had to be retracted. Before they completely disappeared, Nathan leaped into the air to have a clear vision of Iris.

Iris pointed her rifle at him, while Nathan also made a pistol sign. Both of them shot at the same time. Iris’ bullet was overpowered, forcing Iris to throw herself to the side to avoid the residual power of Nathan’s bullet.

But he wouldn’t be Nathan if the attack just stopped there. A group of bullets looped around the crystal field that was currently disappearing. Thanks to their disappearance, these bullets appeared in the corner of Iris’ vision.

At the last second, she managed to form a barrier and block it. “I should have known that Master was going to have another attack.”

Because of the barrier, she couldn’t make another proper aim at Nathan even though he had become an easy target in the air.

However, Nathan took this chance to give an example of his teaching earlier. One bullet suddenly curved down and hit the ground as though it didn’t want to hit Iris.

The bullet caused a massive explosion, shattering her barrier and blasting her away.

“Kyaa!” Iris screamed. This was what Nathan meant by mixing an explosive bullet into her attack. It just created an even more complex pattern, especially since Nathan could shoot another bullet from the air.

If the explosion had hit her directly, she would have died.

Nathan kicked the air to launch himself to the ground, positioning himself behind Iris to catch her.

“Good work.” Nathan ended it by touching her cheek as if he’d just shot her again.

“…” Iris smiled wryly. “I’ve lost, Master. Thank you for your guidance.”

“Your strength is good compared to your peers. However, you will be lonely in this academy.”

“After fighting you, my mind is clear now. It doesn’t matter. My friends can backstab me if the situation is right, my lover can abandon me, and my peers might change in the future. All I know is that the only one who won’t betray me is my strength.

“I have a clear goal in my mind. All I have to do is walk forward.”

Nathan nodded. “Still, it doesn’t mean you have to be a loner. Look.”

When Iris raised her head, there were a lot of people standing up and clapping their hands. They were amazed by the performance Iris had shown. There was definitely a reason she became the youngest person to awaken as a summoner and why she was the number one among the first-year students.

“Don’t tell me, you have been planning all this, Master?” Iris was astonished.

“Back then, my teacher was with me. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do the same for you. However, I’m still your teacher. I want to help you as much as possible.” Nathan patted Iris’ head. “You’re not alone. Besides, having a connection is not bad either, even if they might betray you if the condition is right.”

Iris smiled, feeling moved. “I really can’t hold a candle to you, Teacher.”

Though there were two words she added in her heart. ’Thank you.’
