Chapter 94: Angler Slaps Kai!!!!

Kai roared with red eyes. "Right now, go confirm with headquarters. Go confirm with the bank. This must be some low-class trick he pulled."

"You’re fucking annoying as hell!!!"

Ryan’s head was pounding from all his yelling.

Kai said with red eyes, "You bastard, don’t you dare leave. I’ll find out your scam right away. You dare pull tricks on my turf, you motherfucker..."

No one noticed that a young master in golf attire had just walked over. Hearing his words, his expression changed instantly.

Angler had been playing golf with a client today, a family friend uncle. He’d invited quite a few people, naturally to promote his family’s new villa development.

Last night he’d talked with his father about the situation at the sales office. Someone was actually interested in crown jewel villa number one and had paid a 100K deposit. The news had excited both father and son.

After golf, he rushed over without stopping. For a big client like this, if he didn’t come personally to show some attentiveness, his old man would give him an earful.

He had just taken a call at the entrance. It was finance confirming they’d received the purchase payment.

What stunned Angler was that the client had paid in full. He knew plenty of wealthy people, and there were plenty who could free up 8 million or even over a 10 million for business.

But buying a villa in full, dropping 8 million at once, there really weren’t many who could do that. At least he, Angler, didn’t have that kind of power.

"Your turf? Fuck, what the hell are you barking about here?"

Before he could even see who the client was, he walked in and saw Kai going hysterically crazy. A fierce glint flashed in Angler’s eyes. He stepped forward, grabbed him, and without another word slapped him twice.

The two slaps were especially crisp. Angler, with fire in his eyes, was truly furious and struck with deadly force.

Kai’s body had been hollowed out by alcohol and women, while Angler worked out year-round. In his rage, he wasn’t acting. He really struck with deadly force.

With a smack, Kai clutched his swelling face and fell to the ground. His glasses flew off and disappeared. You could imagine how much force was behind those two slaps.

"No, Brother Angler, you have to believe me. He really is a scammer."

Seeing clearly that it was Angler, Kai didn’t dare get angry even while clutching his face. He just pointed at Ryan in a pitiful tone.

Those two slaps were real. His face would probably swell up like a pig’s head by tomorrow. Right now, not only was blood streaming from his nose, but his mouth had been split open too. When he spoke, saliva and blood dripped down together.

There was even a tooth on the ground. It was the kind of thing that made you feel pain just from hearing it.

"Scam my ass. The bank already said the money arrived in the public account. Are you fucking brain-dead?"

Angler kicked him again and then said, "You bastard, get the hell out right now. You’re no longer in charge of anything at this sales office. If you dare say half a word more, I’ll break your third leg."

"I’ll go, I’ll go right now..."

Kai scrambled away in utter embarrassment. Seeing how Angler acted, he was incredibly cowardly, like a mouse seeing a cat. It made people instinctively feel a bit of contempt.

As for this man, he instantly made people’s eyes light up with stars. Everyone was guessing who this big shot was.

Angler turned back and only then saw that the person sitting there was Ryan. He was stunned for a moment, then walked over and said with a hearty laugh, "I was wondering what big moneybags had come. Turns out it’s my brother Ryan."

"Didn’t I tell you before that I was going to buy a house?"

Ryan stood up wanting to shake hands.

But Angler was incredibly enthusiastic. He didn’t shake hands at all and directly hugged Ryan, then put an arm around his shoulder and said with a smile, "When Hammon told me about it, I really thought you were just saying it casually."

"I didn’t expect you to actually come buy one. You should have told me in advance. If you came and I didn’t personally host you, that wouldn’t be right. If word got out, people would say our family has no manners."

Angler had a powerful presence and was acting like a close brother with Ryan, even more easygoing than at the club.

After all, this was someone who could drop 8 million on a house just like that. Even if they weren’t acquainted, he had to make a good connection. With that kind of strength, he was definitely a top-tier figure in Videl.

And on top of that, he was a new brother he knew. Reporting this back to his family would make him look even better.

Angler frowned and said, "Brother, I’ll follow up on the house purchase later. I need to straighten out the atmosphere at this sales office."

With that, Angler called all the saleswomen together. Tina and Abigail were among them. Among these dozen or so beauties, the two of them were the most striking.

"A lot of you were hired by Kai, right? He said before that he could handle the sales office work."

Angler said with a stern expression, "Looks like your training wasn’t up to par before you started. The client is sitting right here. Besides the sales staff, does no one else know to help pour water or cut some fruit?"

"Manager Kai told us to just do our own jobs well."

Tina said boldly.

Ryan asked from the side, "Brother Angler, what exactly does Kai do?"

"What does he do? A tagalong."

Angler said with a look of disdain. "A senior who’s accomplished nothing. Even his internship stamp was obtained through connections. I only agreed to let him work here because he was clearly idling around."

"And he managed things like this. That snobbish piece of trash."

These saleswomen had all been introduced by Kai without exception. Hearing Angler’s disdainful words, they looked at each other.

Normally, Kai was arrogant and bossy. Everyone would actively curry favor with this top boss. Even Tina knew that two of them had already slept with Kai.

Since coming here, Kai hadn’t harassed her. That was also because his mind was on other women.
