Chapter 84: Checking The Villa

If they did buy, once the contract was signed, the commission would be at least twenty thousand, a staggering amount for them.

After all, very few people could afford such luxury homes. Ordinary people would be intimidated just by the splendor of the sales office, so there had been very few visitors since yesterday.

There were plenty of real estate agents doing business, but less than ten clients had agreed to pay the verification deposit. Among them, only one sale had been made, and it went to another group.

According to the rules, once the contract was signed yesterday, that team leader got twenty thousand in commission. She kept half for herself and split the rest among her team members.

Everyone was overjoyed and full of energy today, strutting around with pride, which made Tina, who hadn’t made any sales yet, feel quite frustrated.

The team members were all gossiping among themselves, and Tina felt very uncomfortable hearing it.

Maybe it was just like Kai said, he’d borrowed money just to provoke her, and Linda was also hired to put on a show.

Tina could only comfort herself with that thought, even though she was feeling very down at the moment. Even she didn’t believe that explanation anymore.

"Team leader, what’s going on? Is that really Ryan, that huge simp?"

"Yeah, Tina, why would he come here? Where did he get a 100K for the deposit?"

"He’s not actually going to buy a house, is he? Damn... Senior Abigail really hit the jackpot. Tina, you should call him right away. Talk him into buying from you so we can make some money too."

Three team members gathered around, chattering as they tried to persuade her. They recognized this famous simp from Videl University right away.

"He’s just here as a decoy. You... you don’t need to pay attention to him."

Tina made up an excuse, but even she didn’t believe it. Her expression was especially awkward right now.

Besides her team and the other group, there were quite a few freelance workers, plenty of pretty girls from the university town.

Abigail was one of them. They had no base salary at all, relying purely on bonuses and commissions. If they got nothing done, they’d even have to cover their own living expenses out of pocket.

Working solo like this meant they couldn’t band together for support, unlike the teams that could split bonuses and commissions. At least everyone could earn a little by cooperating.

But there were quite a few freelancers like Abigail. Clearly, they were short on cash and wanted to earn more, which was why they were taking this risk.

These freelancers were all more attractive than the next. Everyone knew without saying that they were hoping to make extra money through their bodies, basically, high-end college student prostitutes.

When clients came, they’d take turns in order to receive them. But if a client took a liking to you, they could also specifically request you.

According to the unspoken rules, if a client specifically requested you, they definitely had other intentions. To close the deal, sleeping with them was essential, and even one time might not be enough.

"Damn, isn’t she a lesbian?"

People from Videl University were also puzzled. Abigail was famously openly gay on campus. How could she be so desperate for money that she’d come here to sell herself?

Recently, Abigail had been keeping a very cold and aloof attitude, not getting close to anyone.

At X City, they took a shuttle bus to the very center of the community. The environment with its small bridges and flowing water felt especially upscale, yet tastefully designed without being tacky.

"Right this way, you two!"

Abigail took out the keys and opened the villa’s front door.

"Wow..."

As soon as they entered, Linda couldn’t help but let out an amazed sigh.

The villa’s courtyard was enormous. There were swings, a swimming pool, and everything, just like those ultra-luxurious mansions you see in movies.

Abigail held the villa’s brochures and introduced with some excitement, "This is X City’s number one showroom. The entire courtyard covers 1,600 square meters."

"It includes two connected pools, one deep and one shallow, a leisure area with swings and similar features, a gazebo, outdoor stone tables and chairs, a rock garden, and a koi pond designed by a landscape architect."

"Not bad."

Ryan was actually stunned into numbness, so his face showed no expression at all.

Seeing him so casual about it, Linda thought it was incredibly cool. Even Abigail felt that this man carried a powerful aura.

"Please, let’s go inside then!"

Abigail didn’t dare address them as juniors anymore. She quickly opened the villa’s front door and stood at the entrance in a welcoming posture.

The entryway had artistic tiles on the walls, very tasteful and clearly expensive.

"The villa has four floors. Each floor has 236 square meters of floor space. The basement has a storage room and a wine cellar, plus a private bar room and a refrigerator with a wine cabinet."

"On the first floor, there’s a senior’s room, a maid’s room, a driver’s room, a living room, a dining room..."

Abigail introduced a bit awkwardly. She was usually a good speaker, but because she was excited and this was her first time inside, she had to keep checking the materials.

The massive living room had an open void on the second floor. A huge crystal chandelier cascaded down like a waterfall, looking like a sky full of stars, clearly very expensive.

That dreamy crystal chandelier was something any girl would love, but unexpectedly, Ryan looked unimpressed.

Abigail quickly introduced, "Mr. Ryan, this chandelier is exclusive to the crown jewel unit. Our boss paid tens of thousands to have it carved from natural crystal by a craftsman."
