Sugar Daddy System: Infinite Money, Endless Harem
Chapter 65: Bald Uncle Barbeque (GT Bonus)
Hearing this, Tina was thrilled. "Of course! Anna, that so-called school beauty? Where is she prettier than me?"
Seeing that her flattery was working, Linda pressed further with a smile, "Definitely. He’s been chasing you for three years now. Everyone on campus knows how devoted he is."
"Anna? She’s just a bitch in heat throwing herself at him."
"With how much Ryan loves you, even if he strays for a bit, he’s only using her as a plaything to make you jealous."
"No matter what, he’ll definitely dump Anna. The only real candidate for future Mrs. Ryan is you, sweetie."
Linda kept laying on the flattery. Tina’s personality ate it right up, and the proud princess wore a smug expression.
She even pretended to be reserved and said, "Linda, don’t say that. Anna would be so sad if she gets dumped."
"Who knows, maybe after all her fawning, she still won’t catch Ryan, and she might even become the laughingstock of the whole school."
As she spoke, Tina puffed out her chest proudly and said coquettishly, "Sigh, maybe I’ll let him hug me tonight. He’ll be so happy he won’t be able to sleep."
Linda nodded in agreement on the surface, but sneered inwardly.
Where do you even get that confidence? This was exactly the effect of her flattery. In her eyes, Tina was so brainless she was way too easy to fool.
As long as she kept this mindset and maintained her haughty attitude, Ryan would only grow more distant from her.
From the moment Ryan started letting loose, it was a signal that he was beginning to let go of that obsession. Now was the perfect opportunity to slip in.
Whether it was Anna or any other vixen, they were all rivals, but they could coexist peacefully without saying a word.
The most important thing was to pull Tina, that unattainable crush, down from her pedestal...
But Ryan was really devoted too. With his background, what woman couldn’t he get? Why did he have to be that bitch’s simp for three whole years?
[Ding... Bind target Linda. Affection: 92.]
Walking on the road, Ryan was confused. How did her affection suddenly go up the moment she returned to the dorm?
The system pinged again in his mind. Affection points climbing steadily. He filed it away for later—whatever she was doing, it was working in his favor.
Jason and Wester were already waiting at the boys’ dorm entrance. Jason immediately teased, "Being so generous, inviting us to barbecue? Fess up, which girl did you line up?"
Ryan laughed. "Nothing special. Just a group hangout. Some girls from Tina’s dorm will come too."
"Damn..."
Wester reached out and patted Ryan’s head, cursing, "Is your brain waterlogged?"
"Alluring and tender Anna you don’t ask out, but you invite her?"
Jason chimed in, "Exactly. That whole dorm looks down on us. Can you even stomach that meal?"
They gave Ryan another round of scolding, but he just chuckled and didn’t argue. Deep down, he knew they were right.
"We’re going to the barbecue. Get dressed and see you soon."
Tina’s message came in. Ryan couldn’t help frowning unconsciously.
At Videl, most students eating barbecue at night would go to the street stalls in front of the school gate, affordable and convenient.
The restaurant in front of the school also served barbecue, but it was commonly known as the rich kids’ cafeteria. Regular students couldn’t afford it.
"Alright, we’ll head over first!"
Ryan still agreed.
On the way, Jason grumbled, "You little bastard, I’m warning you, if you don’t have enough money to pay the bill, don’t borrow from me."
Wester snorted too.
"Same here. If you were inviting Anna, I wouldn’t mind being a third wheel. I’d max out my credit card to support you."
Gotta admit, Anna was really something, she had those two brothers wrapped around her finger. What was the difference between that and whispering sweet nothings in their ears?
Ryan sighed internally. His roommates had a point, but they didn’t know the full picture. He couldn’t exactly explain the system to them.
What gave Ryan a headache now was that spending money on bound targets was fine, but the transfer function hadn’t been unlocked yet for some reason.
If this meal was too expensive, his entire savings of just a thousand bucks wouldn’t cover it. Worst case, he’d have to use his credit card.
But according to the system rules, he probably couldn’t have these simps pay off his debts. That was a real headache.
He’d figure something out. He always did.
"Ryan!"
The thoughtful Anna called, saying sweetly, "I’m hungry. I heard you guys are going for a late-night snack. Can I tag along?"
Ryan instinctively looked at his two roommates, who weren’t even hiding it, clearly they had tipped her off.
"Come on over!"
Ryan chuckled. "And while you’re at it, cover the bill!"
"Okay."
Anna laughed happily, agreed immediately, and hung up before Ryan could change his mind.
"Damn, I really need to act in the name of justice."
Jason grabbed Ryan by the collar and stared wide-eyed. "You invite Tina to eat, and then ask School Beauty Anna to pay? Are you even human?"
"Damn..."
Wester couldn’t help but curse along too.
Ryan chuckled and said, "Well, I don’t have money. Anna does. She’s happy to do it, so don’t make trouble. Let’s go, we’ll head in first."
He wasn’t proud of it. But Anna had offered, and honestly, it was convenient. Besides, it wasn’t like he was forcing her.
Bald Uncle Barbeque was the best barbecue place in the area. As the name suggested it’s owner was bald uncle, it specialized in grilled seafood, and the ingredients were all premium, not your average cheap stuff.
With a big group, they took a private room on the second floor with a large round table that looked like it was for banquets. It didn’t seem like barbecue restaurant decor at all.
They waited a full half hour before the arrogant Tina made her grand entrance like a peacock, bringing her seven dormmates along.
Linda immediately apologized, "Sorry, we took too long getting ready. You waited a while, right?"
Before Tina herself could even speak, the chubby girl said in a condescending tone, "You’re going to make him so happy. You actually bothered to dress up before coming out. He must feel so honored."
Tina’s aloof attitude affected everyone around her. It seemed like Ryan was inherently beneath them in her eyes.
Jason and Wester were both pissed off, but Ryan was used to it. He picked up the menu and handed it directly to them.
He kept his expression neutral. Let them think whatever they wanted. He wasn’t the same guy who’d grovel for scraps of attention anymore.
He glanced over and asked, "Classmate Tina, what’s wrong?"
Tina’s face showed clear displeasure, every emotion was written all over it.
Having a gossip around was useful. The chubby girl snorted, "Nothing much. We ran into Kai downstairs, bringing some junior girl for a late-night snack."
Tina immediately glared at her and said, "What does that have to do with me? Kai and I have nothing going on."
After saying that, she cautiously stole a glance at Ryan. Linda was secretly pleased, this was exactly the scene she wanted to see.
Ryan caught the glance but didn’t react. Let her wonder. Let her worry. He wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction of seeing him bothered.
The chubby girl picked up the menu and said arrogantly, "I heard Bald Uncle charcoal-grilled crayfish is pretty good!"
"Ryan, you won’t mind ordering this, right?"
Normally, in this kind of situation, any guy wouldn’t refuse for the sake of face, especially at that young and spirited age. Few could stay calm.
It had to be said, when it came to manipulating Ryan, their dorm was full of experts.
Ryan laughed generously, "Order whatever you want. Just don’t waste it."
"Drinks, you guys decide. We’ll start with three mugs of draft beer."
This time, Ryan was very casual. Honestly, they all found it a bit strange. In the past, the pattern was that this simp would suck up to earn the right to sit next to Tina.
They didn’t know that the old Ryan was gone. He wasn’t playing their game anymore.
But this time, his two roommates, who had been influenced by Anna, sat on either side of him with no intention of playing matchmaker.
