Ethan Barnes held her in his arms, and Celeste Linden trembled slightly, clearly resisting his touch. She struggled forcefully, "Let me go. We’re talking, why do you always have to be so inappropriate?"

Every time they started talking, he’d end up getting handsy with her.

Ethan refused to let go, "Listen to me finish what I have to say first, and then I’ll let go."

Celeste stopped, "Alright then, speak."

"I don’t like that Crystal White. I’ve never had any thoughts about her. In my view, she’s just like those other people out there."

"Since I’m here alone, they sent someone over to take care of my daily needs, and that’s how Crystal White ended up coming."

"Let me clarify, this all happened before we got married."

Looking at Ethan’s candid demeanor, Celeste figured he really wasn’t hiding anything. His lifestyle used to be wild and untamed, so naturally, he wouldn’t find anything wrong with having a young girl take care of him.

As for why Crystal was the one sent over, she must have used some means. Her family has connections.

However, Celeste’s mood didn’t improve. She gave him a cold look, "You’ve said your piece. Can you let go of me now?"

"I’ve finished talking. You have no response at all?"

"What response? Ethan, once you’ve handled this situation, I’m going back with Danielle. I don’t want to stay here."

What?

She’s still thinking about going back?

He went through so much trouble to bring her here, and she still wants to leave.

Ethan tightened his grip on her soft waist and effortlessly turned her around to face him, "Celeste Linden, you’re not allowed to go back."

"I’m already considering you by not leaving with Danielle right now. If I leave at this crucial moment, people will definitely gossip. I’m waiting for you to resolve this issue before I leave. Why can’t I leave?"

Ethan got angry, "Why can’t you leave? You’re my wife. Are you not worried about leaving your husband here alone without you?"

"Trouble?" Celeste’s gaze drifted downward, giving him a glance before innocently retorting, "What trouble could there be? Aren’t you... not capable?"

"..."

Ethan felt he had dug himself a hole and buried himself in it.

"When couples reunite, they engage in marital activities. We don’t have any marital activities to pursue, so being together doesn’t mean anything, which is why I want to take Danielle back home."

Ethan raised an eyebrow, his smooth, magnetic voice suddenly dropping to an ambiguous tone, "Oh, Celeste Linden, you actually want to engage in marital activities, huh? You should’ve mentioned it earlier. I can fulfill your wish."

"...I don’t want it!"

Then Ethan cupped her small face with his hand, directly blocking her incessantly moving lips.

Mm!

Celeste’s pupils instantly contracted and enlarged. She quickly raised her hand against his broad chest, trying to push him away.

But it was all in vain; in the face of his absolute strength, she could never resist.

Ethan kissed her deeply, prying open her teeth and inviting her to dance along.

Though Celeste had already given birth to their daughter, she still remained quite inexperienced. Her legs turned to jelly, and her slender body slowly slid down from his embrace.

At this moment, Ethan held her body against his chest, laughing in a hoarse voice, "Just one kiss and you’re this weak? You’re hopeless. How will we engage in marital activities like this?"
