Chapter 1143: Part 2: The Unrest of the Tier-8 Beasts

Wilderness (City A)

The Tier-8 Purple Black Spider had already sensed the presence of the Tier-4 Beast Tamer and the Lifeline Beast, but it ignored them and continued moving forward.

It wanted to reach the other side of the border through the inner area. The beast knew about the presence of the Tier-9 Human Beast Tamer.

It wanted to enter the unknown land through this area, so it didn’t stop, continuing to raze everything along its path.

It was afraid that if it stopped anywhere, the Human Tier-9 Beast Tamer could appear at any time.

Swoosh!

Just then, the spider beast saw a white flash before its eyes, but it ignored it.

Stella started using Jeremy Night’s shared ability. Her starlight-powered wings turned crimson, and her strength and abilities doubled.

Cut!

The starlight butterfly cut through one of its eight legs with her wings. It happened in less than a fraction of a second.

Slash!

She slashed in one fluid move and appeared on the other side. She had used her natural ability, but it was enough to cleave off one of the legs.

Thud!

The Tier-8 Purple Black Spider was stunned. It only felt a small twinge in its leg, but it didn’t feel any pain.

However, the massive Tier-8 beast lost its balance, and its entire frame pitched forward.

If the Tier-8 Spider Beast were to fall in this position, it would suffer massive injuries to its body.

The ground shook. Its remaining legs braced to take the hit.

Before the beast could take a bad fall, it used its immense strength.

Thud!

The beast managed to stabilize its posture just before it crashed into the ground.

The Tier-8 Purple Black Spider avoided the nasty fall, using its strong legs to stand its ground.

Pfff!

However, the severed part of the leg fell to the ground. Blood sprayed violently from the wound and continued to pour out.

The blood began to form a pool. The Tier-8 Purple Black Spider used its senses, which were exceptionally sharp.

It immediately located the threat. It saw the Human Tier-4 Beast Tamer, but the beast that had been around him was nowhere to be seen.

The next second, the beast’s senses alarmed it.

Cut!

It spotted something moving fast once again. A six-winged butterfly appeared next to its leg. Her crimson wings cut through the beast’s second leg in a flash.

Thud!

The severed part fell to the ground. Once again, it happened in less than a second.

Pfff!

Blood gushed forth like torrential rain. The Tier-8 Purple Black Spider was stunned, now feeling the searing pain from both severed legs.

Sensing a terrible crisis, the Tier-8 Purple Black Spider opened its mouth and started shooting out spider webs.

It realized the enemy beast was too fast to locate. The spider webs shot into the air before falling on the trees, ground, and nearby areas.

The white spider webs struck a large shade tree, bringing it crashing down.

Thud!

The tree fell to the ground, the shockwave spreading outward and destroying the green patches of grass.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Night watched the fight with interest. He knew Stella could share his ability, and he saw her wings turn crimson.

The next second, her speed increased exponentially. In the blink of an eye, she had cut off two of its legs.

He was not surprised at all. He just waited for her to cut down the remaining legs.

Boom!

Just then, the hairs on his body stood up. His facial expression changed as he turned around and used his vision power.

Swoosh!

His vision covered a range of up to 500 meters. He saw a six-foot-tall, armored rhino charging in his direction.

He had never seen such a massive rhino beast before. The beast’s eyes were red; it was a dangerous Tier-8 corrupted beast.

Boom!

Stella spotted the new beast as well, so she increased her speed, using her ability to cut down the spider’s remaining legs.

Pfff!

One after another, the remaining six legs were severed from its body. The severed parts fell to the ground.

Thud!

The massive frame of the spider beast collapsed to the ground.

Pfff!

A large amount of blood formed a pool around the area, flowing endlessly from the wounds of the eight severed legs.

Stella could not use the shared ability for a long time, so she returned to her usual self. Her crimson wings turned a bluish-white.

Boom!

The massive four-legged rhino sensed the presence of another beast: the Tier-8 Purple Black Spider.

The Tier-8 Rhino beast found the Purple Black Spider. Even upon seeing its condition, the rhino beast didn’t stop, continuing to march forward.

Jeremy Night saw that the Tier-8 Black Spider had been brought down. Because he was far away from the site, he didn’t feel any of its pressure.

However, the Tier-8 Rhino was well within range, and he could feel its pressure. He was amazed by Stella’s ability to negate the aura of a Tier-8 beast.

Right then, he saw the six-winged butterfly flying toward the rhino beast.

"Stella, don’t take risks. If you find it difficult, you can return. The higher-tier beast tamers can handle it," Jeremy said to her.

[I can still use the shared ability for some time,] Stella told him.

Swoosh!

Stella used her speed ability to appear above the massive frame of the Tier-8 Rhino beast, her crimson wings covered in starlight power.

Right then, she used the shared ability again, and her starlight wings gained a crimson border.

Pfff!

The wings cut through the beast’s defenses. All six wings managed to penetrate its flesh, leaving a long gash across the beast’s back.

Blood began to spurt violently from the wound.

The Tier-8 Rhino beast felt the pain in its back. It stopped in place for a second and began to look around.

It could not find the threat; it only saw flashes of the butterfly appearing and disappearing from its side.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Night moved backward to widen the gap. The pressure of a Tier-8 beast was simply too much for him.
