He walked into the building. He swept his gaze across the mission desk. He saw a few elders behind the desk. A few of them were awake, and the rest of them were sleeping.

He looked at the elders who were awake before turning towards the sleeping ones. He recognised one of them. It was the same elder who had registered the mission.

He then looked around the whole hall. But strangely, he didn’t find the figure of Elder Smith. He didn’t know what had happened to him.

Next, he walked up to the desk. After reaching there, he called out to the elder. The elders who were sleeping all woke up.

The elder woke up and saw Jeremy Night. He was shocked. He knew the mission taken by the young man.

"What happened?"

"Did you complete the mission?" the elder asked.

Hearing that, Jeremy smiled and said, "Yes. I would like to submit the mission items right now."

The other elders beside him exclaimed in surprise. They had heard about the mission from the middle-aged elder.

They too thought the young man was impulsive and could be under pressure.

But they didn’t expect to hear such shocking news from him.

"Did anyone else help you?" the middle-aged elder asked.

Hearing that, the others turned towards him. They had similar expressions on their faces as well.

"If you don’t believe me, then should I ask Elder John to come?" Jeremy replied.

Hearing that, everyone’s face changed drastically. They didn’t want to cause trouble.

"Alright, show me the materials." After saying that, the middle-aged elder led him to the room.

The other elders remained behind the desk. They didn’t follow, but they looked at each other in surprise.

"Did he break through?" one of them asked.

Hearing that, everyone understood something. Jeremy Night’s strength was not the same as before. He was giving off a Tier-4 aura, but it was actually the peak of Tier-3 strength.

"Maybe he really had the strength to kill a Tier-6 beast. He was on the verge of a breakthrough," another elder replied.

"Do you guys think the representatives will hire him?" a female elder asked.

"I think the young man has a better chance of getting hired next year. He is still a first-year student. It’s too early for him," an old man said. ℯℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

Hearing that, the others had the same thought as well. Everyone was optimistic about Jeremy Night. Yet they felt Jeremy Night still had time. He was still young.

Meanwhile,

The middle-aged elder in the room asked Jeremy Night to bring out the corpse. But Jeremy looked around and realised that the room’s space was not enough for the beast to fit.

He should have stored the beast corpse inside the container. Next, he told the reason to the middle-aged elder.

The middle-aged elder was not offended. He then brought Jeremy Night to another room. It was a wide, spacious hall.

Both the length and width of the hall were enough for a Tier-8 beast to fit.

"The hall was built specially for placing higher-tier beasts here. So you can take out the corpses without worry," the middle-aged elder said to him.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night nodded to him and took out three corpses one by one. The massive corpses of the Tier-6 Stone Foxes were placed on the ground one by one.

The eyes of the middle-aged elder widened in surprise.

He saw the blade wounds on the necks and abdomens of the beasts. Now he understood the truth. He realised that Jeremy Night had indeed killed the Tier-6 beasts.

Everyone was aware of the fact that the young man Jeremy Night was a blade user, despite having the Supreme Combat Body Talent.

He then spent a few minutes checking the beasts. Jeremy Night had targeted the vital parts. He knew that Stone Foxes had the Stone ability; it was hard to break their defense.

He then turned towards Jeremy Night and apologised for his previous words.

"I’m sorry. I underestimated you. The blade wounds on the beasts’ bodies are proof of your kills. I will complete the rest of the process," the middle-aged elder said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night nodded his head. He saw the elder use the mission desk device to give approval. The elder clicked photos of the corpses before submitting.

"You will get the message in a few minutes," the middle-aged elder said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night thanked him before heading back to the room. On the way, he texted Elder John, saying that he had returned from a successful mission.

A few minutes later,

After reaching the room, he shut the door. He went to the sofa and lay down. He slept comfortably. Stella, on the other hand, continued absorbing the natural energy.

A few hours later,

Elder John was in his office. He checked the device and saw the message from Jeremy Night. He opened the message and read it, learning that the young man had successfully completed the mission.

He smiled. But he didn’t know about the breakthrough status. He thought the young man must be sleeping right now, so he decided to ask him later.

On the other hand, the news about Jeremy Night’s successful mission had reached the ears of all the elders, including Elder Carter and the others.

Soon, the news reached the ears of Elder Sandra as well. She immediately called Elder John to verify. Elder John confirmed it. She then asked about the breakthrough.

To that, Elder John was not sure himself. He told her that the young man was taking a rest and that he hadn’t met him yet. Elder Sandra told Elder John to bring Jeremy Night to her office in the evening.

Elder John agreed to that. When the call ended, he texted Jeremy Night about the meeting.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night woke up an hour later. He immediately said good morning to Stella. Then he noticed that she was busy absorbing the natural energy.

He didn’t know why, but he felt he could get a breakthrough opportunity anytime soon. He decided to enter the practice room after finishing his morning routine.

Next, his gaze fell on the device. He checked the device and saw that 600 credit points and 800 leaderboard points had been credited.

Seeing that, a bright smile appeared on his face.
