Chapter 1065: Part 1: Special Practice Room

Elder John saw the admin staff and began speaking to them, informing them that the young man was chosen by Elder Dave for the golden card.

They were quite surprised. Then they contacted their manager. It didn’t take long for the Manager himself to come in person.

He was a middle-aged man. He looked at the old man and the young man.

"Senior Dave just called me and told me everything. Don’t worry, the process will be over soon," the Manager said.

Hearing that, John nodded his head and turned toward Jeremy Night. He asked him to take out the card.

Jeremy Night took the golden card out and gave it to the Manager. Next, the registration process began. His current strength was verified.

It was legally recorded in the database. Jeremy also took this chance to upgrade his license. The whole process took 30 minutes.

During the registration, the Manager and the admin staff found out the identity of the young man. The young man was the genius of the special base.

They had never heard of the special base recruiting Tier-3 Beast Tamers before. They usually went after Tier-5 Beast Tamers.

If there were exceptions, they had to be powerful S-Grade Talents. But they saw the information on his Talent and Lifeline Beast.

The Talent of the young man was Supreme Combat Body, which was a powerful A-Grade Talent. But there was no information on the Lifeline Beast; the page was left blank.

They had seen such situations before. That meant the information was confidential. Elder John saw through their thoughts.

He knew they could look at the database.

"Cough!"

He let out a cough.

"The young man will stay in the city for one week. He is going to use that special practice chamber of yours," John said to the Manager.

"Don’t worry, Elder. We will help out the young man. He is also a member of the Beast Taming Association, so we won’t neglect him," the Manager assured him.

John nodded his head and turned toward Jeremy Night.

"Initially, I wanted to take you to the hotel. But since the registration is complete, you can start practicing now. I will handle the hotel matters."

"The staff there will help you out," John said to him.

Jeremy thanked Elder John.

"Don’t mention it. I’m leaving for the base right now. I’ll come back in one week. If you need any help, you can contact me. The calls from City A connect with the special base," John said in a solemn tone.

He didn’t want any trouble to occur. There was a reason why he said this in front of the Manager and the staff, so that they could understand the importance of Jeremy Night.

"I will be careful," Jeremy Night replied.

Elder John prepared to leave. But before that, he swept his gaze across the Manager and the admin staff.

Everyone felt a slight pressure from the gaze. They understood that it was a kind of warning from Elder John.

Elder John left the place. Once he was out of sight, the Manager gave the golden card and the Beast Taming License back to the young man.

Jeremy Night accepted the card and put it away inside the ring.

"Young man, come with me. I will take you to the special practice chamber," the Manager said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night began to follow him. The special practice rooms were on the third floor. Soon, they reached the place.

There was a long hallway with rooms on both sides of the hall. They were special practice rooms.

"You can use the golden card to scan. If you want to leave, you can use the golden card to leave," the Manager said.

"Okay," Jeremy Night replied.

"I’m leaving. If you need anything, you can ask the admin staff." After saying that, the Manager left the place.

Buzz!

After the Manager left, Jeremy used the golden card to scan. Once the scanning was done, the room door opened.

Jeremy Night walked into the room. The door shut automatically. He then began to look around. His gaze fell on the switch box.

He walked up to the switch box and turned it on. The natural energy began to fill the room. He immediately noticed the difference in the natural energy.

It was extremely pure and rich.

Buzz!

Stella started absorbing the natural energy right away.

[The natural energy is even better here!]

He heard Stella’s voice. He smiled and waited for the natural energy to fill the room. He could tell that the white mist was denser here.

It was the reason why it was named a special practice room. He wondered what technology went into it.

He then noticed there was no timer. He could stay here for as long as he wanted. He walked to the middle of the room and sat cross-legged on the ground.

Jeremy Night started running the inner healing method.

As time passed, the natural energy drifted toward his body. When the natural energy entered his body, he began to guide it.

The natural energy flowed through the routes. The cells were activated, and they began to absorb the natural energy and digest it.

Slowly, he was immersed in his practice and forgot about the outside world.

Meanwhile,

The Manager came to meet the admin staff. He instructed them to take care of the young man from the special base.

After that, he returned to his work.

Time passed.

That midnight, Jeremy Night exited the special practice room. He had been practicing non-stop for several hours.

The routes in his body were under stress. He needed to recover before coming here again, so he decided to rest.

He then went down to the ground floor. He came across the staff working the night shift and nodded to them before exiting through the door.

He came to the main street. A cab stopped in front of him. Next, he hopped inside the cab and began his journey toward the Sunset Hotel.

He got there twenty minutes later. He paid the fare before going inside the hotel. The hotel staff didn’t stop him.

After reaching his room, he went to bed to sleep.

The following day,

Elder John returned to the special base. After getting some rest, he met with Elder Sandra and briefed her on the report.

Next, he handed over the new map and video footage. Sandra’s eyes gleamed with a twinkle as her gaze fell on the new map.

She noticed the southeastern direction had new border lines. There were also markings of an oasis and details of beast footprints.

"The Lab Owner, Dave, is not an ordinary person," Sandra commented.

"But you have to praise the young man as well," she added.

Elder John listened to everything, but he wanted Elder Sandra to look at the video footage first.

After going through the map once again, she sighed in relief. She was impressed with the work of Jeremy Night. Her bet on Jeremy Night had paid off.

Next, she began to watch the video footage. Her expression shifted from calm to shock. She, too, fast-forwarded the video.

Twenty minutes later,

She finished the video footage. She understood that Jeremy Night had spent at least two days exploring the southeastern border.

"He did better than some elders," she said.

Her comments were the exact same ones Elder John had made to Jeremy Night.

"My comments were the same," Elder John said.

"Elder, I think that young man deserves a better place in the top three zones," John said to her.

"Don’t worry. Even if the representatives failed to spot his talent, I’ll use my connections to get him into the 3rd zone. If I tell them about this special mission, I’m sure they will recruit him right away," Sandra replied.

"But don’t tell others about the special mission. I did this to test Jeremy Night. I didn’t expect him to perform this well. He even escaped from the higher beasts."

"No wonder he was able to fight in several battles and survive successfully in the end," Sandra said.

John was relieved. He and Elder Sandra shared the same thought.

Days passed.

Jeremy had been going back and forth between the Sunset Hotel and the Beast Taming Association. He was spending more than twelve hours practicing in the special practice room each day.

After that, the routes in his body started feeling the strain. But Stella was different. She had been absorbing the natural energy non-stop.

She did it inside the special practice room, and she was active outside as well. It appeared she couldn’t wait to come out of the egg.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night’s appearance began to draw attention, especially since some people had seen him going toward the special practice room.

They were local Beast Taming Association members. They knew it required an enormous number of points to access the special practice room.

Not even the top members of the association here had golden cards. What was more, they noticed that the young man was just a Tier-3 Beast Tamer.

This shook them even further. They were curious about how the young man was able to use the special practice room.
