Chapter 2155: Catastrophe in the Chaos (I)

Calamity readily acknowledged that he and Li Hao shared a grudge, but he hadn’t thought that Li Hao would be holding onto it at such a critical moment. The brat was such an incredibly narrow-minded person!

Skyward clearly had a lot of aces tucked away for use!

Hence, he didn’t say anything in response. Instead, he grunted, summoning endless bloody figures in the void. They converted upon him from all sides, causing flesh and blood to grow from his frame.

It took only the blink of an eye for the diminutive Li Hao to complete his reconstruction. The three ninth ranks staring at him gaped and whirled around to run!

Although they knew that Li Hao wasn’t a ninth rank, Fang Ping and Su Yu had killed their opponents all the same when they weren’t ninth ranks either. The trio had been relying on Li Hao’s limited strength to ensure their own safety, but now with this latest change...

It was time to get going!

An incredible surge of spirit manifested when Li Hao’s presence exploded to an utmost!

It was like he’d spontaneously transformed into the spirit of the chaos. All great daos shook violently, as did chaos dao.

A longsword appeared out of thin air, coalesced from a myriad of dao spirits. When it swung, it traveled with the momentum of creating worlds. It didn’t head for the three. Rather, it sped for chaos dao!

This stroke was terrifying!

Chaos dao swung wildly from it, like it’d come alive and was attempting to shrink away from the blow. A massive collision rang out. It seemed like the entire chaos was about to collapse!

The great dao was exploding. Whether it was the three ninth ranks or the rest, all of them shook!

Chaos dao flared with endless dao strength, wanting to obliterate Li Hao’s sword intent!

But an incredible flare of dao strength rose from chaos dao in that moment, demolishing these other sources of dao strength!

A smile appeared on Skyward’s face. So you are indeed gathering aura,Li Hao. Let me help you!

The immense surge of strength had been that of spatial dao. It shook, disrupting Galeforce, Shadow, and Decay in their escape.

A longsword appeared behind them!

Li Hao didn’t care what Skyward was doing. He was focused on the three ninth ranks!

Meanwhile, Spring Autumn was enjoying the show when her cheek twitched. Fuck! What are you running toward me for?!

The dao master of shadow was heading her way. Spring Autumn struck without second thought.

I’m here, anyhow, I’m going to take home a ninth rank trophy today too!

Sword light shone through the chaos, like the genesis of worlds was starting anew. It took only a moment for the void to split. Decay and Galeforce exchanged dismayed glances.

Battle had erupted over on Calamity’s side as well. No one said a word.

This would end only when one side was completely eradicated!

Kaboom!

Explosions rang out. The dao master of shadow had been cut into two. His dao strength was still reverberating, but the minor Human King cackled and erupted with spirit.

He devoured the power of shadow!

“You...”

Bam!

The dao of shadow trembled like a leaf and fell apart. Its dao master was fully pulverized by sword light!

Li Hao frowned slightly. It wasn’t necessarily a good thing to claim the dao of shadow. But since it was the Human King doing so, he wouldn’t say anything otherwise.

The young man then appeared behind Galeforce. The latter promptly returned to human form and turned back to look at Li Hao. He sighed, then detonated himself in a burst of wind. He exploded into nothing!

“Consorting with demons,” his voice carried back. “You have chosen wrongly, Li Hao!”

Skyward was the greatest threat to them!

Who would’ve thought that you’d choose to set yourself against us.

Sword light landed, obliterating the wind.

Li Hao inclined his head. I know, I’m running with tigers. But if you guys didn’t die, I’d be flanked by tigers and wolves.

So one down is one better!

Rumble...

The spirit within the wind was extinguished when it exploded. This ninth rank didn’t seem to care about death anymore. It was just a matter of time before they all died. In fact, they’d all lost hope when time collapsed!

Another massive explosion rang out in the distance.

“Why?!” Spring Autumn escaped with a tiny hint of her shell. Fucking hell!

You guys don’t self detonate when you fight others, but Shadow did so as soon as I raised my hand!

Do you think I’m that easy of a target, that I’ll die from one explosion?! That I can’t kill you?!

You guys are the worst bullies!

Her replicas had almost been fully demolished. There was also only one tenth left of her primary body. Her presence free fell and showed signs of winking out.

Spring Autumn panicked when her new body was unable to break free of the old. If the situation didn’t change, she would really die here!

How unlucky would that be!

Li Hao ignored New Martial’s fight. He vanished and reappeared in front of Spring Autumn. The little girl jerked with astonishment, concerned that the young man had lost his mind in his bloodlust. Did he want to kill her too?

She was just about to fight back when Li Hao waved his hand and sent a wave of withering and flourishing into her body. It healed all of her injuries.

Spring Autumn blinked. Was this guy that kind to spend so much energy to help her recover at a time like this?

“Don’t die yet, there’s more for you to do!” Li Hao smiled.

Spring Autumn blinked, but Li Hao had already disappeared.

“Don’t metamorphose into a new body yet,” his voice echoed in her mind. “Let the past stay in the past. Everything is about to begin anew!”

What do you mean by that?

Spring Autumn had been ready to cast off her body, but immediately gave up on that notion. Perhaps... she should listen to the brat.

Battle had erupted in a split second. The powerhouses over on Calamity’s side made their moves. Since Li Hao had chosen Skyward, conflict was unavoidable.

Endless thunderbolts materialized, smiting everything in sight!

Calamity brooded. He turned a blind eye to everything around him and charged Skyward. Several ninth ranks followed behind him. They flung attacks through the void while they dashed toward their target, but everything was shattered through the void!

Trying to utilize the void? Hah!

Skyward waved a hand and sectioned space into multiple partitions. He no longer hid anything about him anymore. The greatest powerhouse of the chaos demonstrated his true strength in this moment.

Space turned upside down!

Several ninth ranks were promptly cut to pieces.

The dao master of life and death was also by Calamity’s side. Light flashed before him and his expression changed drastically right before he broke free of his tiny partition!

A massive millstone had appeared over his head!

The millstone of life and death!

“You seriously have no brains.” Skyward’s aloof tones rang in his ear. “Is Calamity more dependable than me? You’re really a waste of the two daos of the extremes that you’ve cultivated!”

“This isn’t possible!” Life Death bit out. “All spirit of the life and death daos belong to me!”

So how can you wield these two daos?!

Indeed, it was the daos of life and death that Skyward was commanding, not spatial dao.

“And why can Fang Ping collect shadow?” Skyward sniffed derisively. There is much that you don’t know!

Do you guys think that you understand everything upon reaching ninth rank?

Being able to set foot into ninth rank doesn’t mean that you had enormous potential. When it comes to potential, there are many here with much more potential than you guys! People like Li Hao, Su Yu, the Human King, Chaos Sky, Spring Autumn, and even Reincarnation fully rival all of you!

But why was Chaos Sky the only one to barely make it to ninth rank?

If this had been one million years ago, all of them would easily be ninth ranks. Do you think you’re something just because you commend life and death?

You’re worse than even Reincarnation!
