SSS-Rank Blessing: I Can Copy Abilities
Chapter 22: Their Business (1)
And just like that, they had a business.
The three of them agreed on the details immediately. Alden would handle the transportation and selling of the crops in his village while Caelan and Eveline would provide the produce.
They would split the profit evenly afterward.
They agreed to start with a small batch first, then increase it later.
After all, Caelan knew a little about capitalism. And that was creating a demand so they could market their products well.
So now, they’re working at the farm in the morning and doing the transformation of the rotten crops at night.

[481/1000 coins]
Caelan stared at the system floating in front of him, and he couldn’t help but smile. In just one week, they had managed to earn another 181 coins from their new business.
Before this, he had only been earning around 100 coins every week from working at the farm. That was enough to accomplish his mission, but it was painfully slow.
But now, they had earned almost twice as much in just one week. And they only started with a small batch with that.
Caelan leaned back against the chair and stared at the number.
"This is actually working." He couldn’t help but feel relieved.
The crops Eveline produced were selling much better than they had expected. Alden was also doing a good job selling them in his village, and the demand seemed to be growing with every batch.
So after doing their farm work in the morning, they went to the market at night and bought rotten produce. It was funny because all of the vendors were thanking them and everything, not knowing anything.
It had become part of their routine already.
After collecting enough for the day, they carried everything to their inn. It was much safer that way, and they could keep the produce until Alden picked them up every 3 days. No one suspected them either way, because it looked like they were just keeping cheap things to themselves.
"How many more days are we going to keep doing this?" When they finally reached their room, Eveline dropped the sack onto the floor and let out a tired sigh.
Caelan couldn’t help but laugh when he saw how tired she looked. "I don’t know. Until we have enough money to reach the capital, I guess?"
Eveline gave him an exhausted look before shaking her head to the side. She sighed before sitting down on the bed. "We’ve been doing this every day. Farm work in the morning, collecting rotten vegetables at night, then restoring
"I guess we are doing a lot," Caelan admitted too. He knew that it must be more tiring for Eveline since she was the one using her abilities.
"I’m pretty sure I’ve restored hundreds of vegetables by now." Eveline glanced at the produce they had bought and sighed. She couldn’t wait to finish this. They just need enough money to get by until they reach the capital, and it will be fine.
After all, she had a few friends there that could help them.
"Don’t worry, we just need to earn enough, and I will handle the rest." Caelan glanced at her with gratefulness in his eyes.
He just needed to earn 500 more coins to get the reward. For sure, after that, they wouldn’t need to worry about the money anymore.
Eveline could only sigh once again as she leaned backward onto the bed. Caelan could only smile as he placed a pillow beside her.
He was tired too. His body had gotten used to working at the farm, but doing extra work every night was starting to take its toll. They barely had any time to rest before they had to wake up and start everything again.
Fortunately, tomorrow was different. It was their day off and their shipment day.
Alden was coming to pick up the produce they had collected over the past three days. After that, he would take everything to his village and sell it to their growing number of customers.
Caelan looked at the sacks in the corner of the room. Their room looked like a storage room now since there was a lot more this time. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ
"Alden should be able to sell all of this." Caelan walked over to one of the sacks and poked it with his foot.
"I hope so. If that will be the case, we’ll earn double again."
Caelan nodded with it. They doubled their back from the last time after Alden told them there as a lot of demand this time. On top of that, there’s even a celebration in their village, so there were more people wanting to buy
If they continued like this, they could probably reach their goal soon.
The two of them eventually stopped talking and decided to rest. They had another day ahead of them, but at least tomorrow they wouldn’t have to work at the farm.
The next morning, they were still dead tired but they had to wake up early to change the crops they had gotten last night.
They both got out of bed and started preparing. Eveline used her abilities while Caelan did the hard work. He was the one who transported everything downstairs. Alden already knew about their inn, so all they had to do was wait for him.
It was also a nice time, since as soon as he had transported a few sacks downstairs, Alden arrived with his cart.
"Good morning," Alden greeted them.
"Morning, Sir Alden."
Alden looked past Caelan and immediately noticed the mountain of sacks at the ground. A big smile immediately appeared on his lips.
"You two really went all out this time."
