Damon tried to be as calm as he possibly could, but how could he not freak out? One second, everything was fine. The next second, the whole world was turning to shit.

"It has to be that fucking guy. Damn it. Where did he even come from? What the hell?" Damon felt as if his head was about to explode.

He had only barely dealt with those old B-rank thugs who had been hibernating and waiting for decades to destroy him, and now, suddenly, from somewhere a monstrous A-rank bastard had popped out!

Not only was he out for his blood, but the damn guy was acting as if they had some sort of history together. The worst part was Damon genuinely had no idea who he was. He had never seen that old man before in his life.

He had just assumed that he was part of the game world and would stay there, but it looked like things were not so simple.

"Do you really think that you could get away from me so easily, brat? Run. Run. Run. But you can never run away from me!"

Damon now understood the meaning of these words. He thought that the old man had put some sort of tracker on him, but boy, was he wrong. The damned lunatic was breaking apart the entire world to come and get him.

Then another face came to his mind. There was that woman who tried to grab him when he tried to visit the abyssal zone back in the game.

"Those two have got to be working together." Damon just knew it. He had been way too stupid. When the damned abyssal invasion started back in the game world, he should have already guessed that the same was going to happen to his world.

Now everything was already too late. An abyssal invasion was already underway. Humanity was mutating. Monsters were appearing everywhere. Soon, governments would collapse. More and more abominations would appear. There was no saving this or going back.

As long as that abyssal node was here, it was just a losing battle. Aurora was also not the answer because even with her angelic abilities, there was no way she would be able to reverse everything immediately. Everything was going to take time, time that they did not have.

Damon’s heart raced. Things were rapidly devolving out of his control. Old monsters were popping out from hiding. He thought he had upgraded, but it was still not enough. What was he supposed to do now? What could he possibly do to salvage all of this?

Just as he felt as if he was close to some sort of breakthrough, enemies are pouring in from all sides trying to suppress him.

Damon took a breath and then made his decision. The world could wait. Land and water meant nothing without the people in it.

"Azuna... come out..." Damon called the world spirit. ℯℓ.

The world spirit appeared immediately, looking worried. She instantly understood what was happening. Surprisingly, it was not she who spoke up. Instead, it was another spirit.

"She is not ready yet to help in this situation, but I can. I will unlock your legacy world temporarily for you. You can send all your clan members there for now. However, I cannot guarantee their safety inside. All sorts of poisonous creatures roam free inside. It will entirely depend on you to keep them safe."

Damon nodded. It did not matter. All he needed now was time, and this brought him plenty of time.

"That’s fine. Could you teleport everyone inside? How is this going to work?"

"As long as they are willing, they will be able to get in." The snake spirit answered cryptically. The next second a bright symbol flashed in front of Damon. "If they touch this, they will be teleported immediately to the legacy world."

Damon nodded. He quickly got everyone out of his soul space. "Listen. There is not much time to explain things but I need you all to go into a safe zone for now. Abyss is invading earth."

Huh? Everyone’s eyes went wide. None of them were new to this sort of news. Everyone had seen what happened to the game world when the abyssal invasion happened and to hear that the same thing was going to happen to their home?

"What?!"

"Earth is being invaded?"

"How is that possible?"

"When did this happen?"

Kate’s face turned pale. "Damon, how bad is it?"

Damon shook his head. "Like I said, I do not have time to answer any of you right now. Take the teleportation and survive in there. Become stronger."

One by one the teleportation sigil, a red coiled snake flashed in front of everyone. Damon’s mom was the first one to touch it and she was immediately teleported. Everyone else followed after her and did the same.

It was the first time for Lirae, Ellora, Kaelthorn and a bunch of others to appear in the real world but they too quickly teleported.

Only Aurora remained behind. "I am sorry, my love. This time I am not leaving your side no matter what. You need me. This is abyssal energy. I am the strongest against it. I can help."

Damon nodded. He really did not want to risk her life but he also did not have the time to convince her or himself right now. Sheltering her everytime was also not the right answer. Someone like Aurora needed room to grow and thrive.

"Fine but stay beside me at all times. Only intervene if you think you can take the shot and survive. Run if there is any danger. I need you to survive at all costs. If I ask you to run, you run."

"Yes. Yes. Yes to everything, my love. I will listen to you like a obedient little wife, I promise." Aurora beamed the sweetest smile ever.

Damon had a feeling that she was simply placating him but he decided to let it go for now. He took a deep breath and once again let his primordial senses wash over the entire world.

"Everyone listen." He cleared his throat and his voice boomed across the whole world. This was the first time he was doing this but it seemed natural enough. His voice rolled through cities, villages, mountains, oceans, and battlefields alike. Every awakened individual felt it resonate directly inside their minds.

The fighting paused. The panic paused. For a brief moment, billions of people looked up.

"Everyone listen. I am BloodGod speaking. There is not much time, so I am not going to explain everything. The Abyss is invading our world. This is not good news. There is a good chance our whole world will be destroyed. This has only just started and with more abyssal energy you could all become abyssal abominations."

Across the world, countless people fell silent, dread filling their hearts.

"Very soon, a red snake symbol is going to appear before you. This is a teleportation sigil. It is not a trap. It is not an abyssal skill. It is not mind control. It is a shelter. It is a chance to survive. Take it and live on."

The next second, millions of crimson snake sigils began appearing before people across the globe.

"If you see the symbol and choose to touch it, you will be transported to a protected world. You will face danger there. You will face monsters there. You may even die there. But your odds of survival will be infinitely higher than staying here." 𝖋𝘳ℯ

The world immediately exploded into chaos. It looked like everyone had been kicked out of the game world so the whole world now had a decision to make.

Many hesitated, their finger lingering near the sigil. Many didn’t. The first people immediately touched the sigils. Flashes of crimson light erupted throughout Earth. Thousands vanished. Then tens of thousands vanished. Then hundreds of thousands vanished.

Damon watched everything through his Primordial Senses. This was good. He was able to save at least some people. However, before he could even think of the next move, the abyssal node pulsed again, stronger this time.

A shockwave rippled across the planet. Damon’s gaze hardened. He looked around and only Aurora and La Rocha were still standing near him. "Let’s go. We have work to do."

"Nya~ I am coming too.. Master!" Unexpectedly another voice sounded. It was the small black cat, Nox, who did not look so small anymore.
