Spy Wife Harem: SSS-rank Secret Organization
Chapter 32: The Primus
There are people in this world who have mastered a field to such a degree that there remains no distinction between them and a god performing the same art or activity.
They are so good at it that even Nature, an entity that’s like a rule of the world, a law, or a truth, accepts them as the true master of it.
There are only a handful of people who could ever achieve such a feat before ascending to heaven, transcendental beings who can never be compared with those blessed by the divine or those who have made a contract with the demons.
While they are no god, on earth, they are nothing less than them. Still, there are only two individuals in the entire history to ever be recognised as beings of that level.
They are called Primus.
And these beings do not live among mortals, at least most of the time they are beings who stay away from the mortal kind, their powers something that might very well hurt them if the people get too close to them.
They know what the truth seekers long to achieve, they have glanced at the truths that even the lowGods hunt for, there are said to be beings, Primuses, in this world who go around hunting gods and high demons and they do so not for any individual gain, but to maintain the balance of the world that Nature demands.
They work for no one, and they live for no one.
If they so desire, they can ascend to divinity and gain a power that each and every mortal being worships with all their heart, and yet, no one ever comes across these prime individuals.
There have been no instances where someone had met a primus except the folktale like stories that few truly believe in.
But, around twenty years ago, these folktales became true for a few rulers and power holders of this world when they were invited by a [Primus] to be their students.
It was a strange, perhaps very strange occurrence in the entire human history.
A God-like being inviting ’lesser creatures’ to be their student? Most believed it to be a trap, even more rejected the notion as a park from an enemy party. But, there were few who weren’t so foolish.
They were kings, they were emperors, they were people whose mere words could change the entire flow of economy, the flow of human history.
They were hesitant but they knew it would only be a fool that impersonates a Primus. Besides, they were kings, they were emperors, they were powerful people of this world.
They were invited to a mountain range that had been, till that point, a less frequented place by the people.
But on that day, strangely, personal armies of thirty powerful people from all over the world gathered in that one place, surprised by the presence of one another.
Even more strangely, they found the entire mountain to be covered by the Aura of a single entity... and if an entity could cover an entire mountain with their Aura, the chances were pretty low that they were some common blessed being.
"When I walked into that Aura Barrier, I did not know what I was stepping into." The King of Mayn kingdom, Paxius Auriel Algrimus De Mayn Orion knelt before his throne as he massaged the feet of the woman who looked down at him with an uncomfortable look.
She did not like this.
In the first place, her present was not anything like her past. She was not what she was back then but explaining all that to this person was of no use.
So, as her husband wanted, she played along and shook her head with a sigh.
"Pax this is too much." She urged him to stop and was also going to stand up from his throne but the king, a boy in her eyes still, insisted that she at least stay seated.
She had taught him, and many others like him, about not only what she was good at, but what they specifically had talents for.
She taught them weapons, she taught them Aura manipulation, she taught them observation skills, she developed their skills in such a manner that they, in their own way, were perfect beings by the end of their training.
It was a period of one year, and for that one year, their nations did not know of the true whereabouts of their masters.
They stayed on that mountain, they learned as brothers and sisters suffering under the same divine master, and they gained strength, knowledge, intelligence incomparable to anyone else of their ranks, or positions.
They experienced a passage of time which was much slower, much more prolonged than ordinary. But, they did not know how long their time in that mountain truly was.
What they did know, however, was the fact that the person now sitting before him was their teacher, and they... siblings forged under a fierce fire.
There was an unofficial brotherhood between all thirty of those individuals, and they were forever forbidden from revealing anything about their time in that place to anyone else.
"Haaa... anyways. Do you understand what I was saying?" She asked with a sigh, knowing well this would be the reaction of someone from that time of her life.
She did not have Andrew back then. She did not have any reason to stay in this world back then.
The ones she taught filled a gap in her heart for a short while, but she knew it was never going to be enough.
She let them go, not wanting to waste their precious lives for her whims. She wanted to end her life back then, and perhaps, she would have done so had she not found a strange young man, trapped inside Amber.
"I do, Primus. You want to take my son in as your student. What greater joy would I have as–." He was going on and on about how happy he was for quite some time now.
She did not have that much time on her hand so she interrupted him.
"Pax I’m asking if you suspect any places where a divinity may hide your son. Those nasty things know the depths of sweetness when they see honey."
She was saying her son was in danger right now.
The only prince who could ascend the throne after him.
"I can think of only one place..." His reply was clean, and cold.
But as he looked below the throne, at the three people who were with the Primus, a perverse pride raised in his heart.
He was in the presence of his teacher’s entire family!
