Sovereign of the Firmaments

In the Silverstone town,

Without the rank 5 evil spirit beast, the portal started closing and at the same time, the remaining hundreds of evil spirit beasts were soon killed by Lucas and others.

It didn't take much time for them to clear all the evil spirit beasts and just as they cleared all the evil spirit beasts, the entire Silverstone was covered by a special light from the sky.

Soon, after that, all the broken buildings and structures were mysteriously repaired on their own.

'Ding,

          The progress bar is filled and a reward is unlocked.

Lucas already knew that it was heavens who were repairing the town; however, he was surprised with a system notification.

'For a second, I thought I missed filling the progress bar.'

Lucas heaved a sigh of relief and hurriedly checked the reward.

'Ding,

        An intermediate spell 'Magical vine' scroll is stored in the host's inventory.

'Finally, I got it.'

Lucas was waiting for an intermediate spell and as long as he learned it, he would officially become a tier 1 lesser mage and start the true path of mages.

'I will use it after going back to the manor.'

With that thought in his mind, Lucas didn't summon it out of the inventory; instead, he looked at the four managers of the adventurer's guild.

"The heavens gave me total control over this town. Ask someone from your main branch to come here."

"Of course, Family head Lucas."

Manager Carl respectfully nodded his head as he knew the reason for that.

Since the Silverstone town had a new owner that was acknowledged by the heavens, he needed someone like the adventurer's guild to maintain the proper functioning of the town.

Previously, it was managed by the adventurer's guild; however, that doesn't mean it was the owner. So, the managers knew it was important for their adventurer's guild to have some talks with Lucas.

Among all the guilds in the Silverstone town, Lucas felt adventurer's guild was a little better; however, that doesn't mean he would be giving it a lot of power in his town.

"Sir Lucas, what about the other guilds that abandoned the town in the time of crisis?"

Manger Rean was still frustrated about the guilds and the powerful families that escaped when they saw the rank 5 evil spirit beast; instead of fighting. So, he asked Lucas about their resources.

"All their resources will naturally belong to the Hellmore family."

Lucas replied in a calm tone and looked at the young family heads that stayed back to protect the town before saying, "As for those who stayed back to protect the families will be given special status. It will be discussed later as everyone is tired now."

"Thank you, family head Lucas."

"Thank you, Sir Lucas."

Everyone thanked Lucas as they finally felt that the decision to stay back was paying off.

"You earned it. For now, you can go and rest. Let's discuss tomorrow evening in my manor."

As soon as he finished his words, Lucas left from there along with the Hellmore family members.

As for the evil spirit beasts, they disappeared into nothingness. In short, they were absorbed by the heavens.

In the Raindrop manor.

All the Hellmore family members were happy and excited for becoming a Viscount grade family so soon and they wanted to celebrate.

However, they were so tired after killing so many evil spirit beasts. Moreover, their family head Lucas invited the families that fought with them tomorrow evening. So they thought they would be celebrating tomorrow.

'Even though I killed so many evil spirit beasts, I feel no exhaustion. Is it because of the Heavens' blessing?'

In the master bedroom, Lucas sat on his bed as he muttered to himself.

'However, I can't discuss all my plans with the other families and the adventurer's guild right now as they were very exhausted and injured. Anyway, tomorrow evening, I can talk with them and see what I have to do.'

Only after knowing about those new families and their specialities, he could plan better for the town.

'For now, I will just open the treasure chest.'

Finally, Lucas kept the thoughts of 'how to develop the Silverstone town in the shortest time' away before taking out a bronze coloured chest from the inventory.

The treasure chest was around one meter in length and height and a little less than a meter in width. There were some runes that were inscribed on the chest and Lucas didn't have a single clue about the runes.

Nevertheless, his attention was completely on opening the treasure chest rather than what was on the outside of the treasure chest.

'Open'

Without wasting any time, Lucas opened the chest; however, there was nothing in it.

'Huh? An empty treasure chest?'

Lucas frowned and he was about to curse the system for toying with him; however, before he could do that, his head was filled with the system notifications.

'Ding,

          The host received the following items from the Bronze treasure chest:-

          1) 10000 gold coins.

          2) General Alchemist's notes.

          3) General Weaponsmith's notes.

          4) An earl grade talent crystal (Knight).

          6) An extricate stone.

          5)  Dungeon boss crystal (Bronze grade).

'What? A total of six items?'

Lucas was shocked when he saw the holographic screen in front of him that showed him a list of items he gained from the treasure chest.

Even though the system had already informed him that he would get a bunch of items, he didn't expect to receive six items.

'Even though I have enough gold coins and earning gold coins has become easy for the Hellmore family now, 10000 gold coins were still a good reward.'

Among the six items he received, only the 10000 gold coins were the least valuable.

'The notes of a general alchemist and general weaponsmith is equivalent to having a rank 4 guides in those two professions.'

These two items are just the writings of the rank 4 alchemist and weaponsmith and they were invaluable as no one would share those notes with others that easily.

'I wonder what this 'Extricate stone'.'

With a thought, he summoned that item from the inventory to check the information on it.
