Finn always hated the alchemy guild master and finally, he would be taking care of him. Nevertheless, for that to happen, the Weapons pavilion had to take full control of the Silverstone town in the first place.

The thing is Barren firmament is truly governed by the royal family; however, it made some agreements with various guilds like Adventurer's Guild, Alchemy guild, Weapons pavilion for their services in their Firmament.

According to the agreement, these guilds are given few towns to manage; however, if they fail to protect these towns, they would give that control to other guilds.

That's the reason why the adventurer's guild was fearing what Weapons pavilion was trying to overturn their control over the Silverstone town. That's the reason why they were sending a higher knight from the royal city's branch.

However, it's too late as the device to open the evil portal was already installed at the entrance and the Weapons pavilion was just waiting for the portal to open.
