"Can’t find anything," Sean Ashton replied dejectedly, "L seems like a ghost, always a step ahead in concealing his whereabouts. Moreover, it appears he has a complete revenge plan, likely... has been laying it out for many years."

Caden Lockwood remained silent.

"Caden." Lily Thorne kept speaking, "Since Yvonne Rhodes died, it’s been troubling you, hasn’t it?"

"Don’t overthink," Caden Lockwood spoke solemnly, "I will find a suitable heart donor, let you live well."

"Where to find?" Lily Thorne asked with a faint laugh, "Yvonne Rhodes is dead, that Jessica Rhodes is under L’s protection, impossible for us to capture, and Evelyn Morgan..."

Lily Thorne paused and then asked, "Now, you’re unwilling to let Evelyn Morgan die, aren’t you?"

"Mom!" Caden Lockwood raised his voice, "Whether it’s Evelyn or Jessica Rhodes, they are both healthy people, impossible to be used to give you a heart transplant! That’s murder!"

"Really?" Lily Thorne raised an eyebrow, "Then what was the purpose of adopting Evelyn Morgan originally? Wasn’t it to make her one of the intended heart donors for me?"

Before Caden Lockwood could speak, Lily Thorne continued, "If it weren’t for your intervention, she would have starved long ago! Now, after letting her live all these years, she owes me a heart, she should be grateful to me!"
