Chapter 1125 - 1121: RUBY’S DAILY LIFE

" ..... Oh, first love, innocent and sweet,

Hearts skipped a beat, in sync, they’d meet.

Hand in hand, we faced the unknown,

First love’s magic forever shone," a beautiful and melodic voice sounded in the neat studio apartment, as Ruby happily sung to the song that was being played on her phone.

That was her sister’s song from her first album Embrace, First Love.

Ruby loves all her sister’s songs. They were unique, and different from each other. Making her love all of them equally.

Being Diamond’s biggest fan, she loves promoting her, and supporting the family rather than spending and wasting effort on others.

It was a beautiful Sunday, which means that no school for her. She really picked a wonderful school which gave them little time for vacation. So, every free day counts and she was happy to have such a free time to herself.

On this beautiful Sunday, Ruby was going to meet up with her friends, and she was greatly looking forward to that happening.

She was now in her second semester, and her circle of friends though not big, there were still plenty and treated her with sincerity, despite being Diamond’s fans as well. At least this group of friends didn’t treat her as a bridge to meet Diamond and didn’t always seek benefits from her. It was more of an equal exchange between them, which made her quite willing and happy to play with them.

Having a famous sister, it wasn’t easy as most people who approaches, always have an agenda. Although at times it was good, as other people have to treat her courteously as they are afraid of Diamond’s wrath, at times, it didn’t feel good to know the thoughts that these people harbor.

Nevertheless, all that still proved that Diamond had truly made it big in life, and as family, she was basking in her glory. It made her, who ten months ago was struggling to even splurge on ice-cream as that would empty the pockets whistle with wonder.

Life was truly wonderful when money was part of it.

After changing into an outfit, which was part of the brand that she invested in earlier that year belonging to her friend, Kelly who was doing Fashion and Design at the same school, she was ready to make her departure.

Ten minutes later, Ruby was driving away in her red Cagda, her destination pretty clear.

"Oh love, I whispered through my tears,

Do you recall the days when hopes were clear?"

As she drove, her phone started to ring, and she checked the monitor to see who was calling, and the moment she saw the ID caller, a frown formed on her face and she angrily hang up.

However, the caller was very persistent, which then forced her to block that caller which then brought peace to her.

With that episode over, Ruby found her mood and cheerful drove to the restaurant where she was going to meet her group of friends.

As soon as she got there, the three ladies welcomed her with happy smiles. They have booked a private room which made life much easier compared to when they were sharing with others.

Ruby was very beautiful, and with her features slightly alike to Diamond, she always draws attention wherever she goes.

Although she likes the attention and was actually earning a living thanks to it, during private times, she didn’t crave such attention. She just wants to spend time with her family or friends without other people gawking at her as if she was an animal from the zoo.

That’s why, at times like these, she always meets with her friends in private booths or rooms. That way, they can all enjoy their quality time together without being disturbed.

The food was ordered and served. With food at the table, the friends were chatting merrily, sharing their weekly experience and having a great laughter.

Ruby’s friends were no longer limited to Summit College. She made friends from other schools as well, so sharing stories weekly whenever they met made their meeting lively and made her eager to attend.

"Tsk, I really wanted to bash that bastard’s head. Tche, just because he brought me those cheap flowers, he thinks that I should accept his date invitation and go with him?" one of the three friends, Jeene, a bright young girl with big eyes complained as she stabbed the steak with her fork, making the three friends to shudder.

Why were her actions very different from her words. Jeene was truly a scary one.

"Let us be civil. We live in a country with laws!" another friend, Frankie sheepishly advised and Jeene looked at her and rolled her eyes.

"Tche, you think I am crazy? Umph, I simply humiliated him and I doubt that he would come back again!"

Upon hearing that, they were all eager to learn what happened, which then ushered another wonderful story time session that the friends truly love.

After listening to everyone, with lunch over and everyone enjoying dessert, all eyes turned to Ruby who hasn’t yet shared her own drama of the week. They always love listening to her drama. It was always intriguing and unexpected.

Seeing all three pairs of eyes on her, Ruby sheepishly smiled, knowing that the gang was already impatient. What else could she do but ask them which drama they wanted to hear first?

"Any updates on your sister’s album?"

"Hehe, how many songs do you think she had sung so far?"

Like always, they started with Diamond. They were quite curious about the album’s progress. And so was she.

She shook her head regretfully, thinking about how she couldn’t even sniff the progress from Diamond, Andrea or even anyone close to Diamond. She was truly keeping everything to herself, making it difficult to follow along.

When they heard that, the three could only sigh but that was only for a moment as they recovered quickly. Sooner or later, the truth will come out and Diamond will naturally share.

Since the news couldn’t be heard, the three then turned to the topic they were most curious about.
