Chapter 1371: Chapter 655: Service Area

Tie Dan pulled the spider silk, and when he suddenly opened his eyes, he found himself drifting in the faster-than-light passage, falling into a boundless white light.

The seven-colored light film around him, just like the rain on a car window, swiftly faded away, lost its color. The blue light in front, and the red light behind, rapidly approached him, enveloping him in a void of darkness.

And not far away, or perhaps extremely far away, the ship shaped like a chicken leg, the shadow of Titan’s ship, was being enveloped by another mass of white light, becoming fainter and smaller, until it turned into a shooting star, whisked away to Outer Heaven, never to be sensed again.

Then Tie Dan, along with countless stars, was flung out of the jumping space, plunging headlong into the full sky of the Milky Way.

Damn, this is absolutely incredible...

The legion has rebelled again.

Yes, that last shot was fired by Titan, as Jizhou, based on the coordinates provided by Tie Dan and the spider silk, sank the Black Hidden Special Service Ship in the faster-than-light passage, and even blasted Tie Dan’s flesh out with a shot, leaving him out of the game...

Well, it can’t really be called betrayal, since they were rebels all along. After all, Jizhou had never kneeled before Tie Dan like those company folks, pledging allegiance.

Moreover, Tie Dan was unwilling to be the trump card of the legion or to be engaged to Jizhou, and now he was dragging her into a fire pit. If they found an opportunity, couldn’t they just leave him behind and run?

But Tie Dan still felt a surge of indescribable frustration, speechless, unable to express it. How to describe this feeling...

Just like the so-called wheels of the era rolling forward, you try to stop it with your arms, only to find it’s a faster-than-light engine pressing over. It turns out they are waging a great flag battle on the other side as well; the world trend, a steel torrent, in physical terms, it is impossible to stop for a tiny bug like you.

You know you can’t stop a single car, can’t block it, but your nest is behind you, your home is beneath your feet, so you can’t run, can’t escape. Besides wielding your sword desperately, wielding and wielding, roaring with fangs and claws, trying to intimidate the crushing tracks, nothing can change.

Yet in such a damn miserable, hopeless, absurd situation, there’s always a yellow bird passing by to peck at you, declaring "After the yellow bird comes!" while the cicada in your arms keeps struggling, endlessly pushing, clamorously declaring "The cicada will never be enslaved!" like a bunch of crazy people pulling each other back...

Ah, so tired...

But speaking of which, where has it bounced to? Damn, it hasn’t reached the station, has it!? Earth is such a big ball! How come there’s nothing to be seen? Has it reached Mars, the Moon, or the asteroid belt? There should be some explanation, right?

It surely hasn’t reached the station yet, but at this moment, Tie Dan’s vision is filled with an endless deep space, a solitary Sun, and a solitary cubic space station, seemingly made of some alloy, an enormous magic cube, isolated without a village or store in sight, where he has been thrown into some high-speed service area.

"Welcome to the 49327 High-Speed Service Center."

It truly is a service area...

Tie Dan tried to cast out the spider silk, communicated with his Divine Sense, immediately receiving friendly feedback, the cubic topology unfolded, transforming in place.

Within just a few seconds, billions of components slid, flipped, and regrouped along invisible tracks, the originally seamless geometric structure peeled away layer by layer, revealing a more complex internal framework. The silver-gray shell spread out to the surrounding areas, the central body slowly rose. Countless floating platforms extended out from the interior of the cube, interlocking, intertwining, connecting with each other, eventually forming tiered flying islands.

Soon after, the entire exterior of the space station began to undergo dramatic changes. The cold metal surface emanated flowing golden light, the nano-structure reorganized, the reflective coating switched—almost in the blink of an eye, the rigid industrial facility transformed into a classical Immortal Palace skin that Tie Dan was already accustomed to seeing.

Yes, it’s another Immortal Palace, fairy towers rising from the ground, white jade railings extending along the edge of the floating islands, golden flying eaves tilted high, layers of palaces suspended over the sea of clouds. Hundreds of halls connect with each other, resembling the legendary Heavenly Court Immortal Palace. Spirit Rivers shine between the islands, waterfalls hanging from the void, transforming into a sky full of starlight, dissipating mid-way.

The Golden Throne Hall and Immortal Palace Flying Island fully transformed into the classic painting style of a traditional Immortal Palace. Surrounding them an automatically generated visual effect of clouds shrouding in Immortal aura, which of course wasn’t real mist, but a light projection layer composed of trillions of nanodrones. Divine Light descended from the sky, colorful clouds sweeping across the heavens, Immortal music resounding, once divine light illuminated, optical effects conjured a group of Immortal Maidens draped in feather clothes, seductive in appearance, flying towards from the sky.

A group of Immortal Maidens with graceful postures, flowing robes, and assorted attire, adorned with various hairstyles—some in flying bun with vermilion robes like a Phoenix spreading its wings; some in soaring bun with cyan dresses resembling layers of mountains; some in fallen horse bun with flowing Immortal skirts like shifting clouds. Hairpins randomly adorned with gold phoenix hairpins, laced floral crowns, emerald step shakes, pearl tassels, faces as radiant as jade, skin whiter than snow.

Even though it’s in the vacuum, the hems of their skirts subtly lifted with the wind, revealing faint hints of allure. Surrounded by particle effects forming colored ribbons and petals, emphasizing their exquisite and seductive fiery figures. The sheer feather clothes, as thin as cicada wings, subtly revealing the curves of their splendid white bodies. The Immortal Maidens held each other’s waists, hand in hand, gathered together, lazily and enchantingly, embraced warmly, in Immortal music and brilliant sunlight, leading Tie Dan into the throne hall of Immortal Palace.
