Chapter 1306: Chapter 632: Demon Cave of the Immortal Domain (Part 2)
As Tie Dan chased the traces on the ground, continuing to move toward the Immortal Mountain, he realized that the distant Immortal Peak seemed to be merely an illusion projection. Circling around it, one couldn’t really fly out of the mountain boundary and truly reach the peak.
When he landed and climbed along the mountain path, he saw the sign at the Mountain Gate inscribed with ’Xiangzi Peak.’ As he moved along the mountain path into the mountain, he saw a cave.
In front of the cave, a heavy restriction was erected with ink ropes and red lines. Passing the restriction and walking several miles into the cave, he unexpectedly emerged from the Illusion Realm through a winding, hidden path.
Yes, it was just that simple to come out.
When Tie Dan opened his eyes, he saw the Silkworm Demon God still roaring, thousands of heads and faces still desperately spinning silk, weaving the cocoon as thick as the Snow Mountain, striving to bind his Dao Body.
Calculating with his fingers, it seemed he had only lost focus for a brief moment. Naturally, these Gods and Demons hadn’t had time to subdue Yazi. The Demon God appeared to be gathering energy, possibly planning to fire the Magic Light Cannon again.
However, Tie Dan was already tired of entangling with these petty creatures. After entering and exiting the secret realm, he had seen through the illusion magic of Mo Mountain. He pondered the frequency of this particular Primordial Spirit Method, then grasped the formula, and flicked his sword light.
"Yao Guang Pulse!"
"Ah ah ah!" "My eyes!" "Can’t block it, can’t block it!" "Run away!"
The sword light illuminated, and the swarm of demons fled. Tie Dan swept his sword to break the silk cocoon, chopping the Silkworm Demon monster into pieces, blood burst apart, splattering with a flood of purple-brown blood plasma, a mass of flesh writhing in a pathetic struggle on the ground. The other flying heads, seeing the unfavorable situation, fled like an Insect Swarm, steadfastly escaping into the cave.
Tie Dan didn’t hurry to chase, first opened his mouth and devoured the Demon Lord’s flesh on the ground, then followed the trail of blood plasma into the depths of the Demon Cave, only to find that the terrain along the way was surprisingly similar to that he had walked out from the Illusion Realm. As he passed through the tunnel and entered the mountain body of the Demon Cave, he found himself inside a giant flesh chamber hollowed out as a nest.
Indeed, the dream Immortal Realm was actually this Demon Cave spaceship. The spells at play seemed to be more like the camouflage projection of the Immortal Palace rather than those space-expanding divine magic spells like Jiezimixi. They merely beautified the nauseatingly ugly space Demon Cave into a picturesque Immortal Mountain spiritual residence, turning the blessed grotto heaven into a more inhabitable place.
Thus Tie Dan stepped into the depths of the Demon Cave, glancing around, he generally recognized the place.
This entire Demon Mountain cave was like a living entity, with its Central resembling a heart spreading out with interlinked blood vessels, corresponding to the shrine square of the dream Mo Mountain. The Silkworm Demon was coiled here, controlling the Demon Cave as the Central brain.
Surrounding the heart were many flesh chambers and caves, each housing egg capsules resembling hard-shelled chrysalises akin to insects. Some were as small as seven to eight feet, others as large as four to five zhang. As he casually ripped them open, he found in the pupae either rotting, fluid-filled sacs, undeveloped organs, or embryonic humanoid shells with multiple heads and arms. Clearly, the multi-headed, multi-limbed monstrous Demon Lords he had encountered must’ve hatched from these pupae.
Inside the innermost chamber, likely the nursery cave, he saw a cockroach-like black iron armor monster insect, two zhang long, guarding the entrance, behind which were a group of white and plump maggots with human heads and faces.
The appearance of these Demon creatures’ Dao Bodies differed from the others. The mature insects at least resembled humans to some extent, but this one was indistinguishable from a cockroach, nowhere displaying a human face.
Its black exoskeletal shell was dark and shiny, like a black robe, yet once upright, its abdomen revealed strange white human-like patterns, resembling corpse spots imprinted on a cockroach’s belly. Disturbingly, the six legs of the cockroach were not insect legs but human limbs, with arms and two large thighs. Hence, at a glance, it was decidedly eerie; neither could it be understood whether a person donned a cockroach’s feather attire or a cockroach consumed half a human body.
Hmm, this must be the old Daoist from the dream, and the group of quiz child.
In dreams, they appeared human-like, with normal scenes of reading and writing. But after seeing through the magic illusions, revealing their true Dharma Manifestation, they were actually all maggot-born freaks.
Each white and plump maggot was like infant alien monstrosities, with bodies akin to silk worms, but human heads distinctly sprouting facial features. At that moment, they were crying out loud, crawling on the flesh walls of the Demon Cave, gnawing and sucking on the blood pus and rotten meat for sustenance, continuously accumulating True Qi Spirit Liquid within their bodies.
Judging by this scene, once these infant maggots swelled and grew plump, they would presumably start cocooning and pupating, as in the dream, closing to death within coffins, then refining Core Formation within pupa coffins, returning from death to life, ultimately achieving Immortal Feathering, transforming into the Demon God Dao Body, able to traverse the Void.
Hmm, how should I say... The way of Mo Mountain is indeed peculiar, but it truly looks so disgusting...
At this point, the human-headed insects that were slaughtered completely abandoned the Silkworm Demon body, burrowing into the interconnected flesh chambers, scattering in all directions. Only the cockroach old Daoist flapped its wings, flying straight at Tie Dan’s face,
"Bold savage! Attacking a colonial ship is against the treaty!"
"Colonial ship? Treaty?"
The cockroach rushed forward, clawing madly, although its claws possessed the power of the Ten-layered Gang Fist, casually tearing apart a living person wouldn’t be a problem. But at this moment when facing Tie Dan, its blows couldn’t break through his defense one bit.
