Zzzzt!

The scattered flesh and blood of Uvall, blasted apart by Fenric's fist, suddenly writhed on the ground, dissolving into black mist.

In the blink of an eye, all remnants of his body vanished—transformed into clouds of shadowy energy drifting upward before converging at a single point.

Soon, a colossal phantom of a demon god materialized in mid-air.

"HAHAHA!"

Uvall's laughter boomed from within the specter, echoing from all directions.

"Shura, did you truly think you could kill me? This is my domain! My body has already fused with this land! Here, within the Thousand Lanterns Island Nation, I am immortal!"

His voice carried across the battlefield, forcing every Samsara and onlooker to hear it.

Faces paled.

So that was why Uvall had remained bound to this land—because here, he could never truly die.

The realization crushed the hopes of those who had dreamed of claiming Uvall's head for the million-point reward. Even Adam, though he had fought alongside Uvall, secretly coveted the bounty. Deep in his heart, he still wanted that reward to strengthen himself and climb to the thirty-second floor of the Samsara Tower—and beyond.

But now, the prospect seemed impossible.

"Fused with this land?" Fenric muttered, his voice calm, his scarlet gaze unblinking. "In other words… if I destroy this land, you'll have nowhere left to hide."

The phantom froze.

"What?!"

"You mean to destroy the entire Thousand Lanterns Island Nation?" Uvall's voice cracked with a sudden alarm. "Ridiculous! Even nuclear weapons could not achieve such a thing!"

His tone, though defiant, trembled with unease.

"If you doubt me," Fenric said coldly, "then watch."

He drew back his fist, hellfire swirling around his armored body, and slammed it into the ground.

Boom—!

The earth split with a cataclysmic roar, like the tolling of the world's death knell. Cracks exploded outward, racing in all directions.

They tore through Saka Guchi first, then surged past Kasa-O, then on to Oykot, until the entire Thousand Lanterns Island Nation was split by an endless web of fractures.

The sight stunned all who witnessed it.

The Samsaras fled in terror, desperate to escape the wrath of this monster called Shura.

Even the leaders of foreign nations, watching through satellite feeds and broadcasts, felt their blood run cold.

This was no longer the power of a man. This was destruction incarnate!

The island convulsed.

Earthquakes rippled across the land. Mountains shuddered and crumbled. Towers toppled, homes collapsed, and fires spread through cities.

It was as though the end of days had descended upon the Thousand Lanterns Island Nation.

"SHURA!!"

Uvall's furious roar shook the heavens. Yet beneath his rage, fear was unmistakable.

"Don't forget the countless innocent humans in this land! If you continue, their deaths will be on your hands! You'll be branded a butcher beyond redemption!"

Coming from a demon god, his words were laced with pitiful hypocrisy. The tone of false pity only revealed his desperation.

Fenric was unmoved.

He had killed before without hesitation. If the people of this land perished, it was not his burden to carry. Of course, he would never admit this openly—it would only invite needless condemnation.

Instead, he raised his voice with deliberate righteousness:

"Uvall, you and Adam pursue dominion over humankind! Your destruction is necessary to preserve the world! If a sacrifice is demanded, so be it. For the souls lost this day, I shall make you both answer — and by my hand they will have their retribution!"

The statement rang with the weight of justice. No one could challenge him on moral grounds now.

Uvall's fury boiled over at Fenric's shamelessness, but before he could retort, Fenric's fists rained down once more.

Boom—! Boom—! Boom—!

Punch after punch split the land apart, each strike carving craters and fractures wider than the last. Saka Guchi was reduced to rubble. The rest of the island fared no better.

In Okyot, skyscrapers collapsed into heaps of twisted steel and shattered glass. The streets overflowed with fleeing citizens and the cries of the dying.

For the Thousand Lanterns Island Nation, this night had become the end.

Crack—!

A thunderous rupture split the entire island, carving a canyon like a scar across the land. The sea poured in immediately, waves devouring the earth, swallowing towns and farmland without mercy.

The ground caved. The nation began to sink beneath the ocean.

"SHURA!!"

Uvall could no longer hide behind his phantom form. Dark energy surged, coalescing into his true body once more. The flame greatsword appeared in his hands, blazing as he charged Fenric with a roar.

But Fenric met him with nothing more than a single punch.

No flourish. No wasted motion. Just raw force.

The impact shattered Uvall's body and flame sword alike into smoking fragments of gore and ash.

In his current state, with the Indestructible Demon Body amplifying him to over four thousand points of raw power, and the Tremor Fruit multiplying his destructive might, Fenric was untouchable.

Gods or demons—it mattered little. Whoever stood before him would be annihilated.

"Adam!" Uvall's voice echoed weakly from the void, full of desperation. "Stop him! If I die, you won't escape either!"
