Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!
Chapter 455 - 454: Trap!
Fenric’s Tremor ability was devastating.
It wasn’t just raw power—it carried terrifying, penetrating vibrations that could tear past flesh and armor, striking directly at the internal organs.
Kimir’s defenses were formidable. With Hulk blood running through his veins and reinforced by his defensive talents, his body was like stainless steel. He had just smashed Vivienne’s emerald warblade with his bare fist. His strength surpassed the "Green Hulk" of legend many times over.
But even the toughest defense had limits. Unless one’s internal organs were tempered to the point of indestructibility, they could not withstand Fenric’s tremor ability.
That punch left Kimir writhing in pain, blood surging in his chest. He had suffered internal injuries!
Still, as a top Samsara with the Hulk’s resilience, his physique was monstrous, and his healing ability—though limited—was enough to keep him fighting. Fenric’s strike, while effective, wasn’t enough to cripple him.
Boom—!
Kimir was knocked through the sky, then slammed into the earth, shattering the ground into rubble.
Pfft!
He spat out blood, staggering to his feet, eyes burning with fury as he glared at Fenric high above.
Beneath that fury, however, was something else—fear.
If his defense frustrated Vivienne, then Fenric’s Tremor ability was his natural nemesis.
Kimir’s thoughts shifted. He had no intention of throwing his life away for Adam. He had only agreed to cooperate, not die for him. Besides... Uvall’s head was a prize he wanted for himself.
His eyes flicked toward the battlefield.
Under the searing radiance of the Gate of Heaven, Uvall’s body was melting away, his form nearly disintegrated.
Vivienne, hammering at the gate, was growing frantic. The construct was too durable; she couldn’t break it fast enough.
"Shura! Kill Uvall!" she cried anxiously.
It was a sound judgment. If the Gate couldn’t be destroyed, then killing Uvall and seizing the head was the next best move.
Fenric’s gaze sharpened. In a blur, he descended like a meteor, the Empyrean Divine Sword flashing in his grip. The blade, bane of dark creatures, gleamed with lethal radiance.
Adam moved at once, surging forward to intercept, but he was a step too slow.
Fenric’s sword arced down, about to sever Uvall’s head—
Then it hit him.
Death Sense—maximum alert!
His heart froze. His hair bristled, scalp tingling, a suffocating sense of imminent doom flooding him.
Fenric tried to retreat, but it was too late.
Uvall’s eyes snapped open.
Not dim, not fading—but blazing with malicious vitality.
F@ck—!
Fenric’s heart sank.
He had walked straight into the trap!
Uvall’s lips twisted into a feral grin. His body split apart, exploding into writhing masses of flesh that lashed onto Fenric like serpents.
"Gh—!"
In an instant, the flesh engulfed him, binding his limbs, suppressing him with demonic force. He couldn’t move.
Clang!
The hiss of a blade unsheathing rang behind him.
Fenric twisted his head just enough to see Adam, eyes glinting with cold murder, a crimson long blade in hand.
"Shura," Adam said with cruel satisfaction, "this trap was meant for Aurora. I didn’t expect you to walk into it. I hope in heaven... you find no enemies waiting."
The blade fell.
Pshhk!
Pain exploded through Fenric as the scarlet blade carved across his waist and abdomen.
He had summoned his Armament Haki in time, but it didn’t matter. The demon blade wasn’t ordinary—it cut through even advanced Armament with ease.
Fenric’s body split apart, cleaved into two.
The crimson weapon shattered into fragments the moment it struck, but Adam only grinned.
To him, it was worth the sacrifice. Killing Shura—the greatest threat to his plans—was a trade worth any cost.
"!!!"
The battlefield froze.
Countless Samsaras stared, wide-eyed, at Fenric’s bisected body plummeting. Silence drowned the chaos.
The truth was plain: Adam’s duel with Uvall had been an act, a staged performance to lure in Jadeveil Nation’s strongest. They had colluded from the start!
And now, the brightest genius in Samsara’s history—Shura—was dead.
Shocked gasps echoed. Governments across the globe, watching the battle through live feeds, were left speechless.
Adam’s treachery was breathtaking.
"Shura!!!"
Vivienne’s anguished cry tore through the skies.
Everyone believed it. Fenric was finished. No one could survive being split in half—not unless they had Adam or Uvall’s rare immortality. And such abilities were vanishingly rare in Samsara.
Uvall reformed, his scattered flesh knitting back into the towering figure of a Demon God. He strolled casually to Adam’s side.
"Heh. Can you put away that fake gate? It’s giving me a headache."
Adam smirked and, with a wave, dismissed the Gate of Heaven. The sky darkened once more.
The so-called Gate was merely a Pseudo-Heaven’s Gate, a special item more for show than true power. Strong enough to fool and weaken lesser dark creatures, but far from what it appeared.
Uvall chuckled. "Well, I’ve played my part. Remember our deal. The West belongs to you, the East is mine."
Adam nodded, then sneered. "Plenty of Samsaras still resist. Come—let’s slaughter them together."
Uvall’s grin widened, baring his fangs. "A fine proposal."
