Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!
Chapter 454 - 453: The War of Top Masters!
"Commander Song, Uvall looks like he’s dying!"
One Leaf Knows Autumn exclaimed in shock.
Even without the warning, both Vivienne and Fenric could see Uvall’s condition was dire.
The Gate of Heaven that Adam had summoned radiated a sacred light lethal to all dark creatures.
On the ground, the lesser monsters disintegrated the instant they touched its brilliance.
That Uvall was still alive was only thanks to his status as a high-ranking Demon God and the resilience of his so-called immortal body.
But even immortality had its limits.
Under the light of the Gate of Heaven, even his divine flesh began to crumble.
Vivienne’s eyes narrowed. There was no way she would let Adam succeed.
"Do it!"
With a sharp cry, emerald light surged across her body.
Green Lantern Possession!
Her figure shot upward, emerald energy forming a massive warhammer in her grasp. She raised it high and swung at the Gate of Heaven suspended in the void.
Her goal was clear: destroy the Gate and save Uvall.
But before she could reach it, a hulking figure burst from the ground like a cannonball.
"Haha! Aurora, I’ve been waiting for you!"
With a mad laugh, the man lunged, his fist exploding forward.
The burly warrior was none other than Sventovite, Winterveil’s strongest master—real name Kimir Kovalev. An old adversary of Vivienne’s.
Seeing him, Vivienne didn’t flinch. With a cold snort, her hammer dissolved into a green longsword. She thrust straight at his incoming fist.
Clang!
Steel rang against steel. Her sword tip struck his knuckles with the force of a thunderclap, but instead of piercing flesh, it met the hardness of diamond.
Her emerald blade shattered into fragments of light.
Kimir sneered. "Aurora, your will isn’t enough to overcome my strength!"
Vivienne’s brows furrowed. She knew this man well. His strength was monstrous, his defense impenetrable—a brute force fighter with stamina to match. Even as an S-rank herself, she knew she couldn’t finish him quickly.
Suddenly—
Boom—!
A sonic shockwave split the air.
Kimir’s eyes widened as a dark shadow slammed into him. The impact sent him flying like a cannonball struck by a locomotive.
"Aurora, leave him to me," Fenric said calmly.
Vivienne didn’t argue, only warned, "He’s the strongest on the Winterveil side. Sventovite may not be officially S-rank, but he’s close. I’ve fought him before. He carries Hulk bloodline. Once transformed, his power exceeds S-rank—watch his fists."
Fenric’s expression tightened. He nodded.
Indeed, the masters at this level could never be underestimated. An A-rank on paper could easily leap into S-rank territory with hidden trump cards.
Leaving Fenric to deal with Kimir, Vivienne turned her focus back on the Gate of Heaven. Curiously, Adam made no move to stop her.
No matter—she had no choice. The Gate had to fall before Uvall was destroyed.
Meanwhile, the appearance of Aurora, Shura, and Sventovite sent shockwaves through the watching Samsaras. Their chatter rippled through the battlefield.
"The green light—Aurora Morwyn herself! She came!"
"And that muscle monster—that’s Sventovite, Winterveil’s number one master!"
"I heard he wasn’t quite S-rank, but seeing him smash Aurora’s weapon in one punch... maybe the rumors weren’t true."
"And the youth who just sent Sventovite flying—that must be Shura!"
"Shura?! That’s him? So young? Damn!"
"Forget stealing kills—we’re lucky to even watch this battle of titans!"
Excitement and fear gripped the crowd.
Zen Zendaruth and the other Samsaras engaged Adam’s allies, but they were little more than background noise. All eyes were fixed on the four giants: Adam, Shura, Aurora, and Sventovite.
They represented the very peak of Earth’s power.
—--
Whoosh!
Kimir steadied himself midair, wiping blood from his nose. His eyes glared coldly at Fenric.
"Boy, are you Shura?" he growled in English.
Fenric’s reply was flat. "Less talk. Fight."
"You dare!" Kimir’s face twisted with rage, his eyes turning crimson.
His muscles swelled, his skin darkening to green as his body ballooned to more than twice its size. In mere breaths, he had transformed into a towering 2.5-meter giant, every inch of him corded with monstrous power.
Unlike the Hulk of fiction, this green behemoth retained his mind—and could still fly. That made him all the more terrifying.
"Boy, taste my fists!"
He roared and charged, both fists swinging with enough force to pulverize steel.
Fenric’s instincts screamed.
Death Sense—active!
His heart skipped. Rarely did his death sense react so strongly. This proved just how deadly Kimir was.
Fenric didn’t dare hesitate. With a flicker of anti-gravity flight, he slipped past Kimir’s strike, vanishing from the line of attack.
In the next instant, he reappeared at Kimir’s flank, fist driving into the giant’s waist.
Tremor ability!
Crack—!
The air itself split with the sound of shattering glass.
Kimir, caught too off guard to defend, let out a guttural roar of pain. For the first time, the arrogant brute’s face twisted in agony.
