Athena looked at Alex. Her eyes no longer held her lofty divine majesty; instead, they carried a questioning gaze.

"Alex, you stopped the sacrifice. So tell me now, how do you plan to end this Greatest Eclipse that shrouds the earth? How will you return the sunlight to the human world?"

"Hades, who caused the Greatest Eclipse, is hiding behind this unbreakable wall. If we do not break through the Wailing Wall, all our sacrifices and battles will lose their meaning! If your protection cannot bring final victory, it will ultimately be in vain!"

The Wailing Wall?

Alex chuckled lightly. His gaze seemed to pierce through the despairing darkness of the Wailing Wall, directly meeting the eyes of Hades, the King of the Underworld, who sat upon his throne in Elysium.

His voice was not loud, yet it clearly penetrated the Wailing Wall, reaching Hades’s ears directly.

"Hades!"

Alex’s voice rang out like the hammer of judgment.

"Terminate the Greatest Eclipse immediately! Otherwise, I will personally shatter this tortoise shell and flatten Elysium!"

Inside the Temple of Hades in Elysium.

Sitting upright on his divine throne, Hades took in everything happening before the wall through his mirror of divine power.

Alex’s declaration demanding him to terminate the Greatest Eclipse brought a trace of contempt and mockery to his handsome, icy face.

He even leaned forward slightly on his throne, the corners of his mouth curling into a cruel arc. His cold, mocking voice ignored the spatial barriers, echoing clearly before the Wailing Wall as he replied to Alex and everyone else.

"Heh... lowly mortal bug!"

Hades’s voice grated against their souls like ice.

"You? You think you are worthy of threatening this King? End the eclipse? Flatten Elysium? Utterly ridiculous! This Wailing Wall is forged by the laws of the Underworld; it isolates life and death, immortal through all tribulations! It represents insurmountable despair! Just stay in this eternal darkness and, amidst your despairing laments, watch helplessly as the earth thoroughly withers and becomes a part of my Underworld!"

Hades stood up and let out a hearty laugh.

"Alex, Athena, you will ultimately become eternal decorations of the Underworld alongside this wall!"

"My divine kingdom is about to descend upon the entire earth, and all creation shall wither!"

Hades’s mockery acted as the final fuse!

"Insurmountable?"

A trace of mockery appeared in Alex’s eyes.

Others might not know how to break the Wailing Wall, but to Alex, the Wailing Wall was not unbreakable...

The Wailing Wall was formed from the desperate and helpless emotions of billions of living beings on the earth after their death. These souls yearned for hope; they yearned for sunlight.

As long as a single ray of sunlight could appear in the Underworld, it would alleviate—or even dispel—the despair of these departed souls...

Alex’s body slowly floated up into the air. He said coldly,

What radiated from Alex’s body was no longer the freezing Absolute Zero, but a blazing, endless light!

It was as if a sun had awakened and erupted from within Alex’s body!

A pure, ultimate golden brilliance—like the first ray of sunlight at the dawn of creation, or a torrent from a supernova explosion—gushed out from him!

This was not the light of a Cosmo, but the power originating from a star, the true essence of the sun!

It was the complete opposite of the Underworld’s deathly aura and the despair of departed souls—a radiance of life that naturally dispelled all despair and helplessness!
