Chapter 378: Chapter 190: Clash of Beliefs, Saints vs. Saints! (Part 2)

Athena’s sacred radiance, which attempted to ignite their True Spirits, was like a golden tide crashing into an invisible barrier, instantly stalling and freezing.

Her divine power was actually forcibly blocked outside by Alex’s divine domain, unable to advance even a single inch!

"Wh... What?"

Athena’s pupils trembled violently. For the first time, an expression of unbelievable astonishment appeared on her breathtakingly beautiful face.

She could clearly sense that the pure and powerful divinity erupting from Alex’s body at this moment was not in the slightest bit inferior to hers—the Goddess of Wisdom and War. In fact, the sheer power of Alex’s divinity displayed an oppressive might that made her heart palpitate!

It wasn’t just Athena; all the Saints present—whether the current Gold Saints, the heroic spirits of past Saints, or the five core Bronze Saints—were all struck speechless with horror.

Mu, Dohko, and the others gasped. Saga’s gaze was as deep as an abyss, Aiolia clenched his fists tightly, and even Shaka’s tightly shut eyes seemed to tremble slightly.

Aiolos looked at the figure blocking his way, a back that radiated a divine might no less than the Goddess herself. The complex light in his eyes grew even more intense.

Camus stood behind Alex, feeling that cold and solid divine barrier. That dusty promise—One day, I will save your life—had become incredibly real at this moment.

"He... he can actually rival the Goddess’s divine power?"

Shocked whispers spread through the ranks of the past Saints’ heroic spirits...

"Alex, stop! You are betraying Goddess Athena!"

Dohko, ever loyal to Athena, shouted furiously. The Libra Cloth responded to his call, releasing the most powerful Cosmo fluctuation.

Mu, Aldebaran, Shura, and other current Gold Saints also stepped behind Athena one after another. Their Cosmos burned, faintly confronting Alex’s divine domain!

However, not everyone stood on Athena’s side.

"Lady Athena, is this the end to the cycle you promised?"

Aiolos’s low voice sounded, carrying the exhaustion and doubt of being imprisoned for a millennium. Once, he would have laid down his life for the Goddess without hesitation, but during his days in the Ice Hell, he had thought through many things clearly.

He took a step forward and stood firmly by Alex’s side, making his stance clear.

Aiolia followed closely behind his older brother without hesitation. Seeing his brother again, Aiolia’s only desire right now was for his brother to be resurrected.

Camus directly stepped behind Alex, his ice-blue eyes looking straight ahead, showing his support through action.

Saga chuckled lightly. His long hair turned pitch-black as his dark persona surfaced.

He walked over to Alex’s side without hesitation.

Shaka pressed his hands together in prayer and let out a sigh. Golden Buddha light enveloped his body as he floated cross-legged in mid-air. The Buddha light faintly resonated with Alex’s Absolute Zero domain.

Before the Wailing Wall, the Saint faction had split into two camps due to ideological differences!

Alex, Camus, Aiolos, Aiolia, Saga, and Shaka formed one side.

Dohko, Mu, Aldebaran, Shura, Milo, Aphrodite, and the others stood on the other side.

The Saints who had comprehended the Eighth Sense refused to yield to one another. Their powerful Cosmos surged as divine power and divinity confronted each other, freezing the atmosphere to the absolute limit.

A civil war among the Saints was on the verge of breaking out!

Athena quietly looked at the divided camps before her. She could feel Alex’s powerful divinity and his resolute will to resist to the bitter end.

Her gaze swept over the exhaustion in Aiolos’s eyes, and the stance of Camus and the others standing behind Alex.

Finally, Athena sighed. The staff of the Goddess of Victory she held high was slowly lowered.

The light at the top of the staff gradually dimmed, and the divine power that had attempted to forcibly ignite their True Spirits dissipated along with it.

"Enough. Everyone, stop!"

Athena’s voice, carrying deep exhaustion and a trace of imperceptible pain, halted the impending conflict between the two sides of Saints.
