Chapter 261: Chapter 131: Attributes Surge Tenfold, Invading the Underworld! (Part 2)

Mu’s hands, in the midst of repairing a Cloth, instantly froze. He couldn’t help but look up in the direction of Alex, murmuring to himself. "This... is this Alex’s Cosmo? How could it have become so terrifying!"

Inside the Virgo Temple, Shaka, deep in meditation, suddenly opened his eyes. The cinnabar mark between his brows faintly glowed as his eyes filled with shock. In terms of both scale and intensity, Alex’s Cosmo was faintly approaching the level of the Buddha!

Inside the Pope’s Chamber, Saga, having just returned from the city of Atlantis, sensed Alex’s Cosmo. His pupils contracted to pinpricks as he shook his head with a bitter smile. "Brother, even if the two of us joined forces, we likely wouldn’t be able to defeat him anymore..."

Every Gold Saint currently within the Sanctuary was profoundly shaken by this overwhelming pressure. Even Dohko, far away at the Five Old Peaks, had a sharp gleam in his eyes, his heart trembling with astonishment.

Standing at the summit of the Sacred Mountain, Saori Kido trembled imperceptibly the very moment Alex’s aura descended. The radiant light at the tip of her staff, Nike the Goddess of Victory, actually wavered for a split second. Her beautiful violet eyes pierced through the spatial distance, landing precisely on Alex as he ascended the steps.

At this moment, her gaze held none of its usual compassion and wisdom; instead, it was filled with palpable shock. As the master of the Sacred Mountain’s divine domain, she could clearly perceive that within Alex’s body—alongside the Eighth Sense Cosmo that had already reached the absolute pinnacle of humanity—there was now a brand new, scorching, and boundless power radiating the majestic might of the sun!

The essence of this power actually stood on equal footing with the Cosmo she bestowed upon her Saints, carrying a distinctly different yet equally overbearing and sovereign authority. What alarmed her even more was that these two powers within Alex were not merely layered over one another; they had undergone a profound fusion and a qualitative transformation.

Both Alex’s state of existence and the intensity of his Cosmo had achieved a quantum leap, far exceeding anything she could have anticipated. A flicker of complex emotion flashed through her eyes—a mix of anticipation for Alex’s formidable combat prowess, and a subtle unease at her inability to gauge or control his true strength.

The power Alex wielded at this moment had truly touched the domain of the gods. It was enough to make even her, one of the Twelve Olympian Gods, feel a faint sense of threat. Saori Kido’s fingers unconsciously tightened around her staff until her knuckles turned white. Her red lips parted slightly, letting out an almost inaudible sigh.

Alex walked up to her and came to a calm halt, slowly retracting the overwhelming aura surrounding him. Since it was a newly acquired power, it had taken him a moment to bring it under complete control.

Saori Kido composed herself, quickly adjusting her demeanor to restore her divine grace. Yet, a trace of astonishment lingered in her tone. "Alex, where exactly did you go after the war with Poseidon? Why has your power undergone such a drastic transformation?"

"I took care of some trouble, and picked up a bit of power along the way," Alex replied concisely, not elaborating further.

At this point, he was already an indispensable pillar of the Sanctuary, and his power was no longer entirely dependent on Athena. Since he didn’t wish to explain, Saori Kido found it inappropriate to press the matter.

Alex’s gaze swept over the pervasive purple-black aura lingering outside the Sacred Mountain, and he frowned slightly. "It seems that during my absence, Hades has already extended his reach into the human realm."

At the mention of Hades, Saori Kido’s expression darkened completely, her eyes filling with profound worry. "Thanatos and Hypnos have disregarded the Gods’ Covenant. They are releasing disasters directly into the human realm, initiating a Divine extinction."

"Hiding behind Hades’ barrier, they are continuously eroding the earth. I can hear the wails of the innocent every waking moment, yet I can only barely shield the Sanctuary with my divine domain. I cannot eradicate this aura of death... If this continues, the human realm will slowly be consumed."

Alex nodded slightly, his gaze turning cold and razor-sharp. Taking a step forward, his Eighth Sense Cosmo erupted forcefully. Resonating in harmony with Athena’s divine domain, it radiated an invincible, unbreakable edge.

"Passive defense is no different from waiting for death. Sooner or later, the human realm will be entirely devoured. Does Hades really think he has assured his victory just by hiding in the depths of the Underworld?" His voice was calm, yet laced with unquestionable resolve. "Since he has sent the Gods of Death and Sleep to wreak havoc upon the living, why shouldn’t we take the initiative and invade the Underworld?"
