Chapter 258: Chapter 130: Terminating Superman, Kryptonian Bloodline! (Part 1)

Wearing the Aquarius God Cloth, Alex took a step out from the void. The tenfold boost granted by the God Cloth made his power comparable to that of a true deity, slowing down even the light around him.

The intense cold precisely froze Superman and the space surrounding him. The air instantly condensed into pale blue solid crystals. Suspended dust froze in mid-air, and even the golden stellar energy radiating from Superman fell into a bizarre sluggishness, like freezing magma.

The black and gold card stopped eerily in the air.

Barry Allen suddenly appeared. His red silhouette materialized behind Superman as if he had teleported. Moving at a speed beyond human comprehension, his hand turned into a blur, snatching the card and dragging it directly into the infinite ocean of the Speed Force.

Even so, Superman was not completely immobilized. He violently tore through the spatial stasis, letting out a roar of absolute disbelief.

"No... how dare you!"

He suddenly erupted with all his remaining power, breaking free from the absolute zero spatial restraint. Disregarding everything else, he flew recklessly toward the Kryptonian Temple in Metropolis.

Alex was slightly surprised. He chuckled and shook his head.

’A fake was a fake; he lacked even the courage to fight.’

He took out a few vials of life potion and handed them to Barry Allen.

"Have Bruce drink this. As long as he has a single breath left, he will survive."

Following that, Alex transformed into a streak of light, closely pursuing Superman.

Superman fled while frantically looking back in terror. With his card to summon his allies snatched away, he possessed zero courage to go to war with that ruthless Hunter. Right now, his only thought was to return to Metropolis and rally the Justice League to help him fend off this formidable enemy.

Alex was in no rush to attack. He still had three hours of maintenance time left on the God Cloth, which was more than enough to put an end to Superman. As long as Sentry and Kakarot did not interfere, the current roster of the Justice League was absolutely no match for him. If anyone step in, Alex would not mind sending them to hell alongside Superman.

A sickening thud echoed.

Superman crashed heavily onto the ground. Under the bombardment of lightning, his Man of Steel physique offered no protection whatsoever. He spewed a massive amount of blood, his body trembling uncontrollably as his eyes filled with unimaginable agony.

Standing before him were Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and other members of the Justice League. They all stared at him with sheer coldness. Although a trace of pity flickered in their eyes, not a single one was willing to step forward to help.

Barry Allen had also arrived at the scene, bringing Batman with him. They watched him icily, everyone simply waiting for his death.

The evidence of his crimes, broadcasted by Batman, had completely torn away Superman’s hypocritical facade. In truth, the Justice League had harbored doubts about him for a long time. Now that those suspicions were confirmed, no one was willing to stand up for him.

Furthermore, Alex had exposed his true nature. The original Superman had been possessed; the entity currently inhabiting that body was nothing more than a despicable scoundrel. Both Alex and this imposter were visitors from another world.

"Save me. I am Superman. I am your leader!"

Superman’s vision gradually blurred as he struggled to reach out his hand.

Far away inside the Kryptonian Temple, Diana clutched her abdomen and collapsed weakly to her knees, tears streaming endlessly down her face.

In the palm of Alex’s left hand, a fist-sized, deep purple sphere of lightning materialized out of nowhere. There was no earth-shattering thunder, only a low-frequency hum that pushed the surrounding space to the breaking point. The interior of the lightning sphere seemed to contain a miniature nebula storm compressed to its absolute limit. Black spatial fissures continuously snapped open and closed around the sphere, radiating an aura of destruction that tore through the fabric of reality.

"It is over, Superman!"

Alex’s voice was cold and ruthless as he delivered the final verdict. Without the power of a million exploding suns from Sentry to back him up, Superman did not even dare to resist. To a fallen Reincarnator from the Reincarnation Space, a Hunter was their absolute natural predator.

Boom!

A blindingly brilliant burst of purple lightning suddenly erupted!

The chaotic lightning shattered the space around them. Carrying a frenzied will to annihilate all matter and energy, it instantly pierced straight through Superman’s steel body. The astonishment, fury, and a deep-seated trace of panic on Superman’s face were forever frozen in this exact moment.

Time seemed to completely stop.

The unborn child in Diana’s womb seemed to sense its father’s fall and stirred restlessly.

Alex reached out and grabbed Superman by the collar. Like lifting a puppet with cut strings, he hurled him forcefully into the sky. The dome of the Kryptonian Temple shattered completely under Superman’s impact as the red and blue figure broke through the surface, flying high into the night sky of Metropolis.

A few seconds later, the night sky was swallowed by a massive sphere of light. The light was more dazzling than the sun, instantly illuminating the dark earth below. Even the heavy, dark rain clouds were dyed a brilliant purple.

At the core of that light was the fallen Reincarnator who had styled himself as a god among men. His body was entirely eradicated within the lightning, leaving not even a single speck of ash behind.

Bruce slumped onto the ground and let out a long, heavy breath, his tense body finally relaxing.

The members of the Justice League wore complicated expressions as they looked at the man wearing the Gold Cloth standing before them.
