Chapter 253: Chapter 127: The Twins Suppressed by Alex, Anti-Superman Armor! Part 2
All resentment, anger, and unwillingness vanished into thin air at this moment, leaving only the tacit understanding and warmth connected by blood.
Hyoga, who was standing to the side, was completely stunned. His mouth was slightly open, and his eyes were filled with disbelief.
’So these two Gemini Saints had been suppressed by Master Alex all the way from their childhood until now?’
But seeing the shift in the atmosphere between the two, he couldn’t help but reveal a knowing smile.
Although he couldn’t see the scenes in their memories, he could clearly feel that the hostility surrounding Saga and Kanon had disappeared, replaced by the calm of reconciliation.
At the core of the city of Atlantis, Sea God Poseidon’s divine consciousness also seemed to pause for a moment before slowly retracting.
The formless deep-sea pressure and the blue curtain of light quietly dissipated, leaving only the two figures nailed in place by their shared memories.
"Hmph..."
Kanon was the first to recover. He turned and walked toward the depths of the temple, leaving only a faint voice drifting through the air.
"The Sea God is waiting for you at the Main Pillar of Life. Go there yourselves."
Saga looked at his younger brother’s retreating back. The corners of his mouth turned up slightly, and his voice was soft yet transmitted clearly into Kanon’s ears.
"Kanon, when you have time, come back to the Sanctuary for a visit. Our old quarters have been kept exactly as they were."
Kanon’s footsteps abruptly faltered. His shoulders trembled slightly, but he didn’t look back; he merely quickened his pace, his figure soon disappearing into the corridors of Atlantis.
Isaac stepped forward. Looking in the direction Kanon had disappeared, he let out a bitter smile.
"The Sea Dragon General is just like that. He has clearly forgiven Saga, but he will never admit it out loud."
He turned his head to look at Hyoga, a trace of curiosity in his eyes.
"By the way, Hyoga, where is teacher? Why didn’t he come this time?"
Hyoga shook his head, a troubled look appearing on his face.
Teacher’s whereabouts had always been mysterious. Even Athena didn’t know where exactly he went after the battle with the Sea God, so how could he dare to make wild guesses?
Furthermore, if teacher were present, the Saints would probably have already invaded the Underworld, and there would be no need for them to come to Atlantis to seek reinforcements.
Seeing this, Isaac didn’t press the matter further. He simply revealed a look of reverence in his eyes and sighed softly.
"Back when we were learning under teacher together, he would often disappear suddenly. I didn’t expect that after all these years, he would still be exactly the same."
Hyoga and Saga arrived before the Main Pillar of Life. Poseidon sat upon his coral throne. He slowly raised his head, and his divine consciousness surged into their minds like a tide.
"Where is Alex?"
...
At the underground shelter beneath the Gotham Observatory Clock Tower, the entrance was violently blown open as if detonated by TNT explosives. Rubble and dust filled the entire underground space.
A damp, cold draft, mixed with the rainy night air of Gotham, rushed into the shelter.
Under the dim light, the figure who had once been stripped of everything by Superman and had long since sunk into the abyss was now standing quietly right in the center of the shelter’s central altar.
Bruce Wayne was no longer the drunkard from the garbage pile.
His iconic pitch-black Batsuit had also undergone a massive transformation, its exterior now covered in thick, heavy armor!
This was his meticulously crafted Anti-Superman Armor. Although this suit of armor was covered in patch marks and its edges were even heavily damaged, it outlined Batman’s long-lost, imposing silhouette.
Wearing the Bat-cowl, Bruce revealed only his stubble-covered jaw and tightly pursed lips. His gaze pierced through the lenses, coldly locking onto the god-like figure hovering at the breached entrance, enveloped in a golden halo.
"Clark Kent, you’ve finally arrived!"
