Chapter 177: Chapter 89: Shattering the Moon with One Punch, the Spear of Longinus! (Part 1)

In the EVA world, under the gaze of countless naked girls, Alex took a step forward. In the next instant, he appeared on the moon. Not far away, a body encased in ice crystals floated quietly. It was Adam, who was left with only half of his mangled torso.

Although completely frozen by Absolute Zero, Adam was not dead. His single eye rolled around, his gaze filled with pleading.

Alex was in no rush to take his life; with a mere thought, Adam’s body would instantly explode and perish.

The main reason for keeping him alive was that Adam contained the Fruit of Life. Killing him now might make it impossible for the Tree of Life to revert to its complete form.

To Alex, the most valuable thing in this world remained that legendary god-killing artifact.

He turned his gaze toward the lunar landscape.

In his perception, a giant tree thousands of meters tall was tearing through the moon’s crust, growing madly upward.

The trunk was formed from a bent, brown substance, tangling and extending like countless twisted bones. The roots were like greedy pythons, burrowing deep into the moon’s underground to siphon its origin energy.

The branches split into billions of thorn-like spikes, the tips glowing with a dark red light.

Inside the branches flowed a thick, liquid energy that resembled blood vessels, its color as deep as coagulated blood. Innumerable twisted human faces surfaced on the bark, seemingly howling in silence.

The canopy spread out like clouds hanging from the sky, obscuring half of the moon’s horizon. Dozens of massive, immature fruits hung within it. Their appearance closely resembled swollen human wombs, the skin covered by a vascular network made of neural synapses that pulsed faintly with the flow of energy.

Although the ground around the giant tree was covered in patches of green vegetation, presenting a false sense of vitality, in Alex’s eyes, this Tree of Life exuded an aura of predation and destruction from the inside out.

If someone had truly planted it back then, their goal was definitely not the reproduction of humanity. It looked more like a sophisticated biological weapon designed to multiply, evolve, harvest, and ultimately achieve total plunder of the entire planet’s consciousness.

But none of this mattered.

What Alex wanted was not its current form, but the possibility of reverting it back into the Spear of Longinus. After all, there were plenty of gods in his world to use it on!

Alex flew toward the Tree of Life. As he neared the moon, a web-like golden AT Field barrier radiated outward with the giant tree at its center. Diamond-shaped light patterns flickered in the void, encasing the entire moon like a biological fortress.

Everything indicated that this Tree of Life possessed self-awareness, and it was resisting Alex’s approach.

Alex hovered in deep space, his black hair dancing silently in the vacuum, his eyes completely unrippled.

"Futile!"

The moment he lightly spat out that single word, Alex slowly drew his right fist back to his waist.

The surging light of a Cosmo did not ignite around his body. Instead, a supremely restrained ice-blue halo rippled outward, using his body as the center point.

Even in the void of space, the temperature was far from reaching Absolute Zero.

The temperature of the void was roughly minus 270 degrees Celsius. Although it was only 3 degrees away from Absolute Zero, those three degrees represented the absolute boundary between a god and a mortal!

The power of Absolute Zero was compressed to its absolute limit!

Sound could not travel in the vacuum of space. A speck of cold light transformed into a silent ripple of destruction and shot forward violently.

The space and time of the entire universe seemed to freeze, and even the light of the stars dimmed at this moment.

The punch was thrown.

There was no roar, no tremor.

A fist imprint formed of ice crystals abruptly pierced the vacuum. The space it passed through condensed with eerie blue frost trails.

The golden AT Field on the moon’s surface was like fragile glazed glass. The moment it made contact with the fist imprint, it cracked inch by inch, disintegrating into a sky full of ice dust and debris.

Without any hindrance, the fist imprint sank into the moon’s core.

Boom!

The moon abruptly trembled violently, and the green vitality on its surface instantly died of frost.

Centered on the point of impact, layers of dark blue ice spread madly, instantly swallowing the rolling mountain ranges and freezing the pulsating branches of the Tree of Life.
