Chapter 176: Chapter 88: Sea God Awakens, Oracle of World Destruction! (Part 2)

Julian Solo’s eyes turned completely golden, his pupils reflecting the churning, furious waves.

"The earth must be returned to its pure state. This world does not need greedy humans."

Having just met Saori Kido, he had now awakened his Sea God persona. How could he not realize that Saori Kido was the exact reincarnation of Athena in this generation!

His previous defeat was because he was on land, which was Athena’s divine domain.

But this time, he had a perfect opportunity. As long as he brought Athena into his divine kingdom, even as the Goddess of War and Victory, she would not have the slightest chance to win!

Julian Solo muttered in a low voice, every word as cold as ice.

"In the name of the Sea God, I issue this divine oracle: I shall recreate the Great Flood of antiquity and purify this sinful earth!"

Before his voice faded, the Golden Trident was slammed heavily against the ship’s deck!

Thud!

The muffled, deafening sound seemed to strike the very pulse of the world.

In an instant, lightning flashed and thunder rolled outside the deep-sea cruise ship. Ink-black clouds covered the sky at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The seawater, like worshiping subjects, surged toward the giant ship wave after wave. The world’s largest cruise ship, the Ocean Crown, rocked violently amidst the stormy seas. The crystal chandeliers on the deck flickered, emitting a buzzing sound as if on the verge of shattering.

Inside the cabin, the men and women who had just been dancing passionately now screamed and fled in all directions. The champagne tower collapsed with a crash, shattering crystal glasses all over the floor.

Seiya, Shiryu, and the rest of the five Bronze Saints quickly formed a protective circle in front of Saori Kido. However, they were horrified to discover that an invisible force field had sealed off the entire ship. No matter how hard they burned their Cosmos, they could not take Saori away; it was as if they were entirely sealed within this sea area.

The ocean surface split open, forming a massive whirlpool a thousand meters in diameter. Within the bottomless darkness, faint blue lightning churned, rapidly dragging the Ocean Crown down like a mere toy.

Hyoga threw a punch, using the ultimate technique of Aquarius with all his might.

"Diamond Dust!"

Yet his ultimate attack was completely swallowed by the endless dark abyss!

"Pegasus Meteor Fist!"

"Rozan Rising Dragon Force!"

Seiya, Shiryu, and the others struck the edge of the whirlpool with everything they had, but the moment their fist pressure touched the vortex, it was shredded to pieces by the violent water currents!

"Miss Saori!"

Seiya roared hoarsely, but he could only watch helplessly as the entire ship was devoured by the darkness, plunging to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean along with every living soul on board.

Meanwhile, inside the Sanctuary’s Pope’s Chamber, Saga was standing on the Star Hill observation tower, observing the night sky.

Suddenly, his pupils shrank. From the corners of the Goddess statue’s eyes, crystal-clear teardrops were slowly seeping out, sliding down its marble cheeks.

This was an unprecedented and ominous sign.

Saga’s sea-blue long hair fell over his shoulders, hiding the grim look in his eyes. He tried to call out to the Goddess using his Cosmo, but received only a dead silence in response.

"Just what exactly has happened..." he muttered to himself, an ominous premonition spreading in his heart like a rising tide.

Alex had been sent to investigate the Hydra incident, and the Goddess had taken the five Bronze Saints to a banquet. The two main pillars of the Sanctuary had unexpectedly both lost contact at the same time.

If Alex were here, with his insight, he would surely be able to see through this bizarre turn of events, wouldn’t he?

His position as Pope lacked legitimacy. Many of the Gold Saints outwardly obeyed his commands but secretly ignored them. Now that he wanted to send someone to investigate, he shockingly found that there was no one he could use.

Saga clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white.

The sky over the Sanctuary was covered with dense, dark clouds. It was as if thousands of years of accumulated wrath were about to completely pour down, washing away all the sins of the earth!
