Royal Secret: I'm A Princess!
Chapter 1074: TWIN GENIUSES
"TSK."
"Why are you suddenly clicking your tongue, Princess Neoma? Did I do something to piss you off?"
"No, it’s not like that, Uncle Dominic," Neoma denied while shaking her head. "I just suddenly felt annoyed. Nero probably did something amazing again. I only get this kind of feeling whenever he surpasses me in something."
"That’s strange," Uncle Dominic said, tilting his head to one side as if he were amused. "You love Prince Nero— no, His Imperial Majesty. But you still get competitive over the little things?"
"Of course. Do you remember what I used to call Nero, Uncle?"
"The boy who has everything?"
"Nero is still the same boy who has everything. He doesn’t have to work hard because everything comes easy for him. I’m not saying that he doesn’t work hard. He does. It’s just that our starting point is different. I have to work twice as hard just to get into the same position as him. I used to hate that fact. Well, I’m still pissed off. But I’m fine with it now."
Uncle Dominic chuckled. "I don’t know about His Imperial Majesty being the boy who has everything. But I do know one thing." The former saint then looked ahead. "Princess Neoma, you are the girl who can make everything happen."
Ah, right.
Neoma smiled while looking in front of them.
Skyscrapers.
Cars.
Korean signage all over.
The scene in front of them was definitely not something you could find in the empire, but it wasn’t like they were back in Korea either.
They were just inside the barrier that Neoma had created.
This is the new technique that I’m developing with Uncle Dominic’s help.

NERO raised an eyebrow when he opened his eyes, and he was greeted by a stranger.
It was a woman with brown curly hair, tanned skin, and red eyes.
The woman wore a white and gold robe, and she was barefoot. Not that it was a problem since her feet weren’t even touching the ground.
Judging by the air around the woman...
"You must be Genevieve."
"How did you do this, child?" Genevieve, the goddess that his mother was close to, asked in disbelief while looking at her arms. "How could you summon me here? And this physical body... how did this happen?"
"Ah, is that what you’re wondering about?" Nero shrugged. "Well, I was told that a god’s real form could kill humans. So, I thought you should have a vessel or something before I summoned you here. I guess you can say that it’s a gift from me?"
The goddess looked dumbfounded for some reason.
Is this being really a goddess?
"Nero, are you okay?" his mother asked worriedly. She even held Nero’s shoulder with one hand while the other touched his cheek. "You did it. Congratulations, son. You truly as the genius of the Roseheart clan."
"Of course, Mother. But I’m sure Neoma can also do what I’m capable of doing..."
Nero trailed off when he felt warm liquid trickling down his nose.
Ah.
"Nero!"
It wasn’t just a simple nosebleed.
The amount of blood coming out of his nose made it look like the insides of his nose had been torn.
What is happening?
Much to Nero’s chagrin, he suddenly lost consciousness as if someone smacked the back of his head.
Damn.
***
NEOMA smiled proudly while watching Skylus and Monik create the Wall under Uncle Dominic’s guidance.
The kids have solid divine power, so their barriers are sturdy.
Plus, she could tell that the kids had overflowing divine power.
They won’t run out of it during the war.
She was about to give the children a piece of advice when, suddenly, Zeru appeared.
Yes, it was Nero’s ice phoenix.
"What happened?" Neoma asked worriedly. "Is Nero alright?"
"The little emperor has collapsed and hasn’t woken up yet."
Oh, no.
***
AS SOON as Neoma returned to the Imperial Palace, she immediately headed to Nero’s room.
Sanford Devon and Raku bowed their heads before opening the doors for her.
Mama Boss and Dahlia were already inside the room, sitting next to Nero’s bed.
Ah, there was an unfamiliar guest.
A goddess?
Neoma just bowed her head slightly towards the divine being before looking at her mother. "What happened to Nero, Mama Boss?"
Mama Boss sighed. "Your brother summoned Genevieve abruptly. Doing so probably took a toll on his body. His Mana and divine power were both depleted at the same time. But Dahlia and I have already checked on his condition. Nero just needs plenty of rest."
Aigoo.
Melvin is probably running around the palace to work on Nero’s behalf.
Anyways...
"So, you are Genevieve," Neoma said, greeting the goddess with a smile. "I finally got to meet Mama Boss’ friend."
"I am not Mona’s friend," Genevieve denied, scoffing. "I only help her from time to time because that child is helpless without me."
Aigoo.
Folks, we have a tsundere goddess here.
Neoma glanced at Mama Boss, and Mama Boss just smiled and shrugged.
Ah, so Mama Boss is already used to this.
"Thank you for helping my helpless mother from time to time, then."
Genevieve scoffed again, but the goddess looked proud of herself.
Aigoo.
"But how did you get a physical body?" Neoma asked curiously. "Gods can’t be summoned to the human world because your real form can kill humans."
"I don’t know," Genevieve said, shrugging. "Ask the little emperor."
Ah.
So, Nero had summoned the goddess with a physical body.
No wonder my baby brother fainted.
Tsk.
That also meant her bad feeling earlier was correct.
Nero really did surpass me again.
Oh, well.
Nero has always been the better Roseheart between us anyway.
"Neoma?" her Mama Boss called her worriedly. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, Mama Boss. I’m fine," Neoma assured her mother, and then she looked at Genevieve. "Is your hand alright? I heard the Ancient Devil got you."
Genevieve scoffed again.
Aigoo.
Does she only know how to scoff?
"If I say that my hand hasn’t recovered yet because of the Ancient Devil’s Malice, are you going to fix it for me?" Genevieve asked sarcastically, removing her white evening gloves that covered her hand and arm. "Look."
Mama Boss and Dahlia gasped at the sight of the goddess’ hand and forearm that had turned charcoal black.
"Can you fix this, child?"
"Yeah, sure."
Genevieve’s red eyes widened in shock. "What?"
"I can do that much for my mother’s ally," Neoma said while rolling up the sleeves of her shirt. "Let’s start, Aunt Genevieve."
"I’m not your aunt!"
You are now.
***
"MY LOVE."
Oh.
Mona smiled when Nikolai stepped out of the portal.
She left her children for a moment to greet her husband.
"How’s the training?"
"Gavin and Hanna Quinzel are both ruthless," Nikolai said while shaking his head. "Anyway, how are the twins? Is Nero awake already?"
She sent her husband a message about Nero collapsing.
After all, she didn’t want Nikolai to hear about it late.
Yes, it’s not serious, but I’m sure my husband would appreciate hearing about it first.
"Nero isn’t awake yet, but he’s not in danger," Mona said, pausing for a moment. "Did I call you for nothing?"
"No, of course not," Nikolai said while shaking his head. "Whether the situation is serious or not, I want to be there for our children, especially if they are sick."
Aww.
"But you know?"
"Yes, my love?"
"We should really be patting our backs," Mona said, and then she hugged Nikolai to give him several pats on his back. "Our twins are geniuses in their own right— and we made them. We did one hell of a good job."
Nikolai blinked slowly, and then he burst out laughing. "You’re so adorable, Mona."
