Chapter 1210: Ch 1210: Reality Cutting Sword

As everyone entered the Treasure Vault while maintaining caution, they soon encountered their very first opponents. And they were golems made of rocks.

As the mage here was also a rare person like Ellie who was working on necromancy, Shin was actually expecting Undeads to be the main opponent. But it looked liked that was not the case.

To a surprised Shin, Tatsumi informed him that the mage here had started to research on necromancy at the last few years of his life. Before that, he was an expert in various kinds of golems.

So it made a lot of sense that this place would have a lot of golems. And they were also not very strong. Rank 3 or rank 4 at most.

So stronger people like Shin and Tatsumi did not fight them. Instead Ellie, Nakamura and Kashimo were taking care of them.

Shuzu was also with them but she was doing nothing but dodging. She was going to interfere with the battle only when someone was about to get badly injured.

And as for minor injuries, with Raphaela continuosly healing all of them, this was not a problem. With her expert handling, all the people were able to fight with a peace of mind and without any worry about getting hurt.

So Kashimo used his massive shield to ram the rock golems and break them apart. He was a big man with a strong body. So even though he was doing nothing fancy and was just charging at the enemy, the effect was quite good.

As for Nakamura, his days of using small and insignificant insects were long gone. He had easily summoned a 5 meter long centipede and it was destroying the golems very easily by wrapping around them.

And why would that not be the case ? This Crimson Murder Centipede was a rank 5 insect. So defeating a bunch of rank 3 and rank 4 golems was extremely easy for it.

And finally for Ellie, she was not having a super easy time like the other two. But she had he numbers advantage and her skeletons were taking care of the golems one by one, even if they were taking some time.

And Ellie herself was not idle. Her body was covered with a bone Armour and she was holding bone sword in her hand. So she was also fighting on the front line against one of the golems.

This way, it did not take too much time before all the golems were dead. This was an warm up battle for the group and it looked like everyone was feeling perfectly fine.

Just like that, the exploration continued. And Shin was also able to make his first move when a rank 6 Iron Armoured Golem appeared. But it was bisected in two pieces by Shin quite easily.

Other than the Iron Armoured Golem, there were no other decently powerful ones in this floor. So the journey had been quick and easy.

Soon, they were able to reach the second under ground floor and this place was completely different from the first. This area was very well made and strengthened with various metals.

And the undeads also finally showed themselves. But this was a good thing. Most weak undeads were unable to go against Ellie’s command, so they ended up joining her army.

But the main threat of this floor were not undeads but the steel golems. All of them were rank 6 and were quite powerful. But they were not the best that the magus here had to offer.

The strongest golems were made from mithril and they were rank 8 in terms of strength. Not just that but these golems were resistant to both physical and magical attacks.

So defeating them was supposed to be hard. Even for a rank 9 being like Shin.

But who was he ? He was a genius who was nurtured by a super powerhouse to be a hero. So his strength was extremely impressive without any doubt and he was much stronger than what his rank simply implied.

But who dominated this battle was definitely Shuzu. Finally she got the opportunity to show off some of her moves except for just dodging and she immediately dominated even these powerful mithril golems.

Her sword was all about speed and sharpness. Her defenses were basically zero and even a weak rank 2 individual might be capable of killing her if they could land a hit on her.

But landing a hit on her was almost impossible. That was how insanely fast she was. Her attacks were not as cool as Shin’s. Shin was capable of destroying even stars with his current strength in a cool looking way.

But Shuzu did nothing like that. The way she had trained, she was extremely limited in her reach and it was only as long as her sword was. She was not even capable of making an aura sword large enough to cut a mountain even though this should be easy for someone with her rank.

So what was she capable of doing ? It was quite simple actually. She was capable of moving through space and time in immeasurable speed and cut through the fabric of reality.

This was the sword art that she was given to her by Elena. The name of this was very simple, Reality Severing Sword. For a simpleton like Shuzu, this was absolutely perfect.

With this, she was capable of cutting through anyone who was below the rank of 10. Even someone who was on the weaker side defensively in the 10th rank might not be able to stop this attack of hers.

Shuzu had no variety. She was basically an one trick pony and also a glass cannon. Not really something good for risk management. But Shuzu did not mind.

She was extremely confident in her dodging abilities. She was sure that she could he able to dodge anything and everything. So if she could do that, why would she needed to care about being a glass cannon and having no defense ?

And her being a one trick a pony, this one single trick of hers was such a dangerous thing that even someone like Shin had no way too deal with it even though he was extremely versatile, a hero and was in the same rank as her.

So witb Shin and Shuzu going all out, even the powerful mithril golems were unable to stop Shin and his team. And just like that, they managed to clear the second under ground floor and reached the third one.

So what would this floor have in store for Shin and his team ?
