Chapter 1209: Ch 1209: Raiding a Treasure Vault

Their mission was simple and straight forward. But the danger associated with it was also great.

They needed to reach the deepest part of a treasure vault, defeat the boss monster there and then bring a special item called "Mirror of Calling" back.

This treasure vault was created by a powerful magus and this mirror was something that he had stolen from a friend of his. So the family of this friend had given the mission to get the treasure back.

As for the monster that was present as the boss of this place, it was an Undead Dragon created because of the experiments that this magus did. Even though defeating it was the mission, Shin and all his party members were actually planning to capture and tame this undead beast for Ellie.

Obviously capturing such a powerful beast was definitely harder than just simply killing it. So for their future growth, the Shin and his team were taking a huge amount of risk.

But if Ellie could gain a rank 9 helper from all these troubles then all this hard work would be completely worth it.

So with this plan in mind, while standing before the entrance of the treasure vault, Shin asked his team one last time if everyone were ready. For people like Shin or Shuzu, there would not be much danger but for the others with lower ranks, they would be in a huge amount of danger.

Shin was well aware of this but he had no intention of abandoning his team mates. His growth speed was too fast but he was sure that it would slow down at some point. And then, his friends would be able to catch up to him. He was very confident in them.

Noticing this slight tension, Raphaela spoke up with a teasing voice while patting the two boys on the back -

"No need to worry. Both of our energetic men had vigorously released all their extra energy inside me last night. So both of them should be in top form."

Hearing this, Nakamura and Kashimo both blushed slightly. It was true that both them had gotten too excited last night most probably because of all the tension and were too violent while sharing bed with Raphaela. So they could not say anything against what she just said.

And to follow up on this, Shuzu came beside Ellie and hugged her. Then she also said in a teasing voice -

"And our dear Ellie here should also be ready perfectly. With the amount of sweets she had devoured last evening, there was no way she is feeling any tension."

Hearing this, Ellie’s face turned beet red. This was a secret that she was trying to hide. But Shuzu had revealed it to everyone.

So with her red face, she started to protest and used her cute and weak hands to beat her up. But with how powerful Shuzu was and how weak Ellie was physically, her beating had basically zero effect.

This whole incident made everyone to relax and laugh. Then with confident and serious steps, all of them stepped inside the treasure vault.

Even though Ellie and Raphaela were new additions to the party, both of their love and devotion to Elena was not any less than what the other members of this party had. This was actually the main reason why they could became a part of this group even though people stronger than them could not.
