Chapter 799: Chapter 799: Everything from Twenty Years Ago 5

She didn’t know what to think or how to react.

She just felt... panicked, a chill running through her. It all felt as unreal as a dream.

Quentin Holland saw her stunned expression and said, "I know this might be difficult for you to accept right away, but it’s the truth."

"Then how did you find out?" Annabelle Linton asked, her face a mask of disbelief. "And when did you find out?"

Quentin Holland picked up a report from the table and handed it to her. "Take a look at this."

Annabelle Linton took it, puzzled. When she opened it, she found a DNA test report. The compatibility rate was 99.9%.

A glance at the DNA report showed that the two parties involved were siblings.

Annabelle Linton frowned, looking at Quentin Holland in confusion. "What is this?"

Quentin Holland’s gaze was deep as he looked at her. He spoke seriously, "It’s a DNA report for you and me. The blood relationship is a perfect match... Annabelle, do you remember how I once told you about my missing sister? You’re that sister. I’m your brother..."

"I am the Crown Prince of Country V, and you are the Princess of Country V. You’re also the sole heir, the one who disappeared over twenty years ago."

Annabelle Linton stared at him, even more astonished and once again rendered speechless.

’So... I’m his long-lost sister?’

’To be honest, everything that was happening right now felt... so cliché!’

’Her parents weren’t her real parents, her brother was actually Mr. Holland, and most importantly, she was the princess of a country—the heir!’

’Isn’t this the kind of thing that only happens in movies and novels?’

’Why was it happening to her?’

To be honest... Annabelle Linton was shaken to her very core.

She stared at him in disbelief and repeated her earlier questions, asking mechanically, "Then how did you find out? And when?"

"A long time ago." Quentin Holland pursed his lips, his gaze apologetic as he looked at Annabelle Linton. He said in a low voice, "I knew from the moment I met you."

Annabelle Linton’s eyes widened even further in astonishment as she stared at them.

Every word from Quentin Holland was like a bomb going off in her mind, leaving her reeling.

’How could this be?’

’If he knew all that time, why didn’t he tell me?’

’Was it because of my background?’

’And what about my background would make him hide it?’

A million questions flooded her mind, and Annabelle Linton felt completely stunned.

Aaron Wyatt saw the deep confusion in Annabelle Linton’s eyes and knew what she was thinking.

’Quentin Holland had approached her from the very beginning to protect her.’

’And he himself had approached her with ulterior motives... but somewhere along the way, he had unexpectedly fallen for her...’

’He’d never meant to harm her, and he never had, yet all her current suffering was caused by his family...’

’Should he really tell her everything?’

’If he told Annabelle everything right now, would she blame him? Would she forgive him?’

Aaron Wyatt’s gaze was dark and profound as he looked at Annabelle Linton. Finally, he spoke in a low voice.

’No matter what the consequences, he didn’t want to hide anything from her anymore.’

"Annabelle, do you know why you went missing twenty years ago?"

’Of course I don’t know! I only just found out about this insane backstory, how would I possibly know why I went missing?’
