Remarriage Failed Again Today
Chapter 660: Because Hubby’s Lips Are Beautiful
Chapter 660: Chapter 660: Because Hubby’s Lips Are Beautiful
"Let me do it again, then."
As she spoke, Annabelle Linton crushed her lips against his again, kissing him for a long moment and nuzzling him with her mouth.
Feeling her take the lead, Leona Grant couldn’t have been in a better mood.
A smile played on his lips as he asked, "Why are you using my mouth to blot your lipstick?"
"Because my darling has such handsome lips."
Annabelle Linton gave him another peck. "I learned it from TV. Blotting your lipstick this way makes the color not too strong and not too faint. It looks good."
That one word, "darling," made his heart swell with sweetness.
’This woman... When you want her to call you that, she won’t. Then, just when you stop expecting it, she comes and flirts with you.’
Leona Grant was at a complete loss, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
"Is that so."
A mischievous grin spread across his face as he stood up. He grabbed seven or eight random lipsticks from her collection.
Then, he wiped the lipstick from his own lips, smeared one of the new shades from his hand onto his mouth, and leaned in to kiss her.
"Now you try this color."
Seeing his comically lopsided lips—a clear sign he had no idea how to apply lipstick—Annabelle Linton burst out laughing. She kissed him back with a smile, asking, "Leona Grant, I’ve used this lipstick on my own mouth before. Don’t you think that’s unsanitary?"
People don’t usually share lipstick. The one she’d used on him earlier was brand new. As for her motive... well...
Leona Grant gave her a baffled look. "By that logic, isn’t kissing and making love even more unsanitary? What of yours haven’t I used? Your cup, your chopsticks, your towel?"
...Actually, what she’d meant was that she knew he never used second-hand items...
After he spoke, Leona Grant switched to another color, applied it, and kissed her again. "And this one."
’This wasn’t about testing colors at all. It was just an excuse for him to take advantage of the situation.’
Annabelle Linton didn’t call him out. Instead, she grabbed the entire box of lipsticks, applied a new shade, and kissed him right on the cheek. "Alright then, let me give it a try! This way I won’t even need a mirror!"
"Fine, I’ll help you!" Leona Grant, not to be outdone, kissed her back.
The two of them started playing with the lipsticks like a couple of kids.
After about half an hour of playing, both of their faces were covered in lipstick prints.
Insanely expensive lipstick was smeared everywhere...
Annabelle Linton looked at his face, so thoroughly covered in her kisses that there wasn’t a clean spot left, and couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Leona Grant watched her and started laughing too. Then, he wiped the lipstick from her lips, kissed her, and pushed her down...
Seeing that things were about to get out of hand, Annabelle Linton quickly pushed him away. "Stop, stop! If we keep this up, we’re going to be late."
Leona Grant didn’t listen at all, but she managed to dodge the several kisses he attempted.
He easily pinned her arms down. "Starting a fire and then running away, hmm?"
"I didn’t..."
"Then who put lipstick on me while I was asleep?"
"..." ’It was just a spur-of-the-moment thing.’
Annabelle Linton said with a pitiful expression, "You were too much yesterday... I’m still sore..."
A wicked grin spread across Leona Grant’s lips as he looked at her. "Where does it hurt?"
"..." ’Jerk! You know exactly what I mean!’
Annabelle Linton gave him a light slap.
Leona Grant caught her hand, chuckling softly in amusement. He didn’t press the issue, instead scooping her into his arms and carrying her to the bathroom. "I’ll take a look for you tonight. I’ll be more careful in the future."
’How could he say something so shameless in such a gentle tone... Ugh.’
After they washed up, Annabelle Linton picked up his shirt, helped him put it on, and then carefully did up the buttons.
Leona Grant watched the top of her head, his gaze softening. A smile touched his lips as he said, "Annabelle Linton, I’ve noticed something different about you today."
