"I believe that you underestimate the level of power that he possesses." Zach said to him as he shook his head before letting out a tsk.

He watched as Ronaldo chuckled before he shook his head at him in response. "No I think that it is you that overestimates him."

Zach looked towards him incredulously as he quirked an eyebrow at him. "No I think that you are the one who has it wrong and it is you who has underestimated him." Zach said to him.

"And how is that so." Ronaldo asked him in question.

"Well he is the one who is in charge of the city and he is the one that controls everything behind that goes on essentially he is the one that ensures the smooth running of things. I am assure that you are used to being the one who is in charge and you like it that way but when it comes to him you don’t get in his way." Zach said to him.

"Now I see why you have requested my help. You fail to see that there is no such thing as an all powerful head of the government and there is always going to be someone behind the scenes who is pulling at his strings. you just have to know which ones you have to pull and then you will get the results that you want." he said to him as he shrugged his shoulders at him.

"And what do you mean then. what are these strings. You can’t honestly think that there is someone that is controlling him." Zach said to him.

"Well of curse there is. There is always someone behind the scenes that is giving the orders and despite what you think Lillard is just another puppet." Ronaldo said to him with a full confidence in his qwords as well as a knowing glint that was clear in his eyes.

"Well I find that very hard to believe after all he. Is the administrator of the city and therefore everything. Is under his control and he is the one who is pulling the reigns." Zach said to him and he watched as Ronaldo let out a light chuckle from his lips before he shook his head.

"and now I see why you are able to get so manty enemies. you have to be able to look at things properly. I can see that you are too willing to trust and you are unable to see things as they are. But you should know that men like him are never the ones who are in control they always have someone who they are working under and there is always someone controlling them and I can assure you that Lillard is no different. He may seem as though he is big and tough not to mention strong at the moment but you should know that maty be nothing more than a large front and that beneath that persona he is just another pawn whose moves are being controlled and who is being told which way to move and how to take his next turn. You should keep your eyes out for men like him." Ronaldo said to him.

However Zach only let out a low scoff from his lips as he shook bis head lightly.

He watched as Ronaldo quirked a brow at him as he adjusted himself back in his seat. "I know that you may not believe me and that is something that I would completely understand. After all it doesn’t seem likely that even the boss has a boss. However that is up to you to make that decision for yourself but I will warn you now that your decision to trust him will be at your own risk as well as the risk of the smiths family and there is one thing that I can assure you with full certainty and that is the fact that you are going to come to realize that not everything is as it sees. And so that is why I don’t fear Lillard. Why fear the sheep when the wolf is the one that hunts. I am not one to play games with the paws but rather I stand firm in front of the royals who control them. The beast way for you to find a way for you to take down your enemy is to first find out why that enemy is. you can’t fight a war without knowing who you are battling with." Ronaldo said to him firmly.

"And how do you know that he isn’t the one in control and how are you certain that there are others pulling his strings and that you are certain for a fact that he isn’t the alpha but the beta." Zach said to him as he crossed his. Arms over his chest.

"well you see he wasn’t born into the position neither was it one that he created exclusively for himself. loke most of the members of the government their position was something that was granted to them as a gift and the thing with gifts is that they don’t come cheap no matter how pretty the wrapping may appear. He was put in that position by the royals they were the ones who gave him all of the titles as well as thew glory. But just because they handed it to him doesn’t mean that he was given it permanently. They can just as easily take it back the same way that they handed it. That means at any moment one of the royals could come in and replace him. Like the head of a worm; when you cut off one it grows another." Ronaldo said to him.

"Burt aren’t you also under the royals doesn’t that mean that you are also a slave to them and that they are able to bend you accordingly to their will. Doesn’t that mean that you are also like a snake and a toy that they can fondle one that they can decapitate at any time that they deem necessary. So why does that mean that you are any different from Lillard. most importantly how are you any different from him." Zach said to him.

"Well the royals may have control of the government and they may be the ones who are responsible for dictating how the government is run and who is in control of it but the military at least my military is different. We have detached ourselves from the government and the do not have any authority in our jurisdiction. We both follow our own rules and they can’t tell us what to do. Neither can the puppets which are able to pull at their strings. And that is what is able to differentiate us from them. The fact that we are not ones that are able to bend to a certain will so easily. We are able to think and process things on our own accord but most importantly we don’t answer to anyone, well at least I don’t because in the end my men still have to answer to me." Ronaldo said to him as he finished off the rest of his speech.

Zach was silent as he took in his words and he knew that he was saying them in order to pass a type of message as well as to remind and ensure him that he was the one that was in control and he didn’t fear anyone that was meant to pose as a threat to him.

Zach was silent as he found himself thinking over how to react to the revelation. He knew that Ronaldo held great power but he guessed that he had never been entirely sure of the extent to which that power was able to reach.

He turned towards Bruce briefly as though he was trying to see if Ronaldo was telling the truth and that he did have this great amount of power which he claimed that he was in possession of.

He watched as Bruce nodded his head at him slowly and he did his best to keep his face neutral as he realized that what Ronaldo was saying was the truth and that the military did hold great influence and they did possess great level of power in the land.

The truth was that although thew royals were the decorative figure heads and they did present a beautiful front that was enticing to the eye but it was one that made them seem as though they were the ones in control they truly were not.

The ones who had the power and the ones that set the road maps upon which the city was built and upon which the city was run were the military.

That wasn’t common in many areas but for the Hina empire that was how the law of the land was ordained. The military were the ones who had the final say in the affairs of the land and they were the ones who were responsible for inferring the laws upon which the country carried out its affairs.

The country was military oriented and the military were held to a very high status one that surpassed that of the government even and although the government had the people and they were the ones that ensured the smooth running of the land.

In the end if the military were not to approve of something or if something were not to be one to their liming then the government would have to answer to them as in the end they were the ones who were responsible for having the final say and they were the ones who made the final decision on important matters.
