Convinced by Marico’s valid arguments, he couldn’t help but begin to consider Zac’s offer for alliance. With the royal family out of the picture, it could truly prove to be extremely beneficial to both parties.

At the same time, Ronaldo began to see Zach in another light. The man was more flexible and cunning than he had imagined. He was able to let go of his hatred just so he could achieve his ambition even though he was up against the royal family.

Ronaldo couldn’t even begin to imagine the perseverance needed for such an endeavor. As such, he too began to harbor thoughts of collaborating with Zach. A man with such a strong will was bound for greatness and Ronaldo wanted to be a witness beside him to reap all the benefits.

Though unknowingly, a bit of guilt invaded his heart as well. If only he hadn’t laid his hands on the maid, the alliance could have been even sturdier.

"She hadn’t been that pretty either. If only I had controlled myself at the time...if only..." regretted Ronaldo.

A few days later he decided that he would go and see Ronaldo with a small group of people.

He was going there on the pretense of simply attending a casual visit and that was why he was going there.

Bruce on the other hand wasn’t entirely sure of the idea and he knew that Ronaldo wasn’t going to be one that would fall for their plan.

He doubted that he would be so open as to simply let them into their home. However he was aware that Zach had already made up his mind on the matter and there was no point in him trying to make any attempt of changing his mind on it.

So instead her decided to keep his mood as well as his expression neutral. He was aware of the fact that it wasn’t going to. Do any of the many good if he were to start up something.

As they came to a stop in front of Ronaldo’s mansion they rang the doorbell and they waited a few minutes as one of Ronaldo’s men opened the for up for them.

The man widened his eyes at the dight of them and it was clear that he was shocked by their presence.

"We are here to see Ronaldo." Zach said to him casually.

He watched as the man cleared his throat as he seemed to think over it for a moment. However after a moment he let out a sigh as he bowed his head slightly before moving aside and allowing them to pads.

He led Zach and the group towards the waiting area as he scanned them over and he made sure to look to see that they weren’t carrying any weapons.

Zach and the others sat down in their seats as they waited for Ronaldo to show up. Zach couldn’t help but keep a slight smirk on his face. The others may not have been aware of it at that very moment but he had something planned and once everything came to light they would see that he was perfectly aware of what he was doing.

The soldier left the room as he went off to find Ronaldo and tell him of what was going on.

Ronaldo couldn’t help but feel shocked buy thew fact that Zach had come here. He wondered what his angle was and couldn’t help but think that he had come here with a hidden agenda.

For a moment he considered not going out to entertain Zach. Maybe he would wait back and see how long he would stay there.

However this was his house and he shouldn’t have been sitting around and waiting for him.

He couldn’t deny that there was a side of him that felt a level of curiosity and there was a part of him that couldn’t help but wonder what Zach was doing there. He wanted to know and maybe it was a weakness on his part but he decided that he would entertain them for a moment.

Zach was suerprizse3d when he watched as Ronaldo walked into the room moments later.

He watched as a smile made its way onto his face and he decided not to let his own emotions to get the better of him as he kept his face neutral.

"Well this is a pleasant surprise. What do I owe this visit to." Ronaldo said as he approached them cautiously.

Zach cleared his throat after a moment as he took a step towards him.

"Well I thought that it would be courteous of me to come and pay you a visit." Zach said as he tried to keep his tone blank.

Ronaldo looked him over as he ran his gaze over him. He watched him cautiously as he attempted to figure him out however he didn’t end up having much luck.

"Well are you going to invite us in." Zach said to him and he watched as he cleared his throat after a moment before leading them into the house.

"Well I must say that I didn’t expect for you to come here at all." Ronaldo said to them." Ronaldo said to him.

Zach hummed at him in response before nodding his head.

"Well I realize that it was foolish of me to lash out on you the way that I did before. I realize now that I had done wrong and I want to make amends to that." He said to Ronaldo.

He watched as Ronaldo looked towards him with a quirked eyebrow before glancing towards the others.

He turned his gaze specifically towards Bruce and the deep frown that was on his features showed that he wasn’t onboard with the plan.

"And so what is tit that you have come here to discuss. What is it that you are looking for from me." he said to them curiously as he looked towards them with a quirked eyebrow.

"Yes well. Before the incident that occurred the last time we were on the verge of forming an alliance and I was intent on employing your services. I realize that I was being foolish before and I want to rectify the mistake that I had made initially and I want to work towards facing that and building a new alliance between the two of us." Zach said to him as he kept his tone neutral.

"Well I am sorry but I truly find that hard to believe. I don’t know if you are not aware of this or if you have simply not chosen to see but you may want to form an alliance with me but it seems as though not all of the members of the smiths want that.it seems as though not everyone shares that same view as you do." he said as his gaze flickered towards Bruce.

Bruce cleared his throat as he shook his head and he straightened himself up in his seat.

"Well I am the head of the family and what that means is that I am the one who makes the final decision on things and they know that even if they aren’t in favor of the decisions that I make on their behalf that whatever choice that I make it is going to be inevitably for their own good." Zach said with a firm tone.

"So what are you saying. That you want to form an alliance with me." Ronaldo said to him and Zach could see a twinkle that was clear in his eyes.

Zach could tell that he was enjoying the fact that it was because he had come back to him and that he was essentially groveling at his feet.

"Yes I know that I was one to jump to conclusions before and I apologize for that but I see things more clearly now and I know that what I had done earlier was as a result of my own short sightedness. I want to rectify that. My enemies are not getting any fewer and in fact their numbers are growing by the day. Thew last thing that I want to do is to make an enemy out of you. I don’t want to have you as an enemy but rather what I want to do is to be able to form an alliance with you. I know that there is no one better that can help me to stand my ground and to fight off those that threaten to take down my family and tear down everything that the smith family has built other than you. I should have frealiuze4d that earlier." Zach said to him.

He watched as a light smirk. Played on Ronaldo’s features and he knew that he was slowly getting to him.

He watched as Ronaldo reached out to rub his jaw lightly before he readjusted himself in his seat.

Well I think that is great and all but how do you expect me to trust you and want to work with you again especially after everything that had happened. It is a bit unfortunate don’t you think." Ronaldo said to him.

Zach was quiet for a moment as he knew that he was referring to what had happened with Britany. This was Ronaldo’s way of trying to get a reaction out of him.

"Well that was in the past and the girl in question who had been the one behind it all is no longer with us and so the opinion of conflict is out of the matter. That means that we don’t have to worry ourselves about petty things such as that anymore..."
