"You don’t have to worry about anything. Like I said it was nothing. I ]just thought that I saw something but clearly it was nothing." He said to her and he was glad when he saw her backoff on the matter after a moment.

Well if you say so. However I can’t deny that I was a bit worried." She said to him and he hummed in response.

He was relieved when she went back to telling about the fruit after that and he was glad to see that she seemed to have forgotten about the incident somewhat after that.

However he couldn’t help but flicker his gaze back towards the direction where the woman had disappeared.

Was it possible that he had only imagined her being there.

Maybe there was a chance that it was all just in his head.

She couldn’t have been anyone that he knew because he knew that anyone he knew certainly wouldn’t have run away from him like that.

he knew that if he knew her then he would have been able to recognize her instantly but that wasn’t the case.

He hoped that she was nothing more than an image his mind had conjured up or nothing important.

However as he continued to make his way through the market despite how much he tried to get her out of his mind he found himself unable to do so.

he could only hope that she wasn’t someone important and it wasn’t something that was going to change things for him at all.

After Zach had finished with his tour he and Brittany decided to go back.

He had thought that she was tiered and would want to go back but she seemed to be perfectly fine.

However he was also well aware of Brittany’s nature and he knew that even if she was tiered that she wouldn’t let him know.

After him seeing that woman he found himself not wanting to stat much longer in the market and he was able to convince her to go back home.

Brittany was a bit disappointed that they would have to leave as she was starting to enjoy Zach’s company very much however she did her best not to show him.

She kept a smile on her face as they walked back and she couldn’t help but wonder how she had ever been scared of him.

As they stepped back into the house Carol was there to greet them and she couldn’t help but notice the smile that was on Brittany’s face.

She didn’t know what the smile was but she had an inkling of what it meant.

Carol could see how Brittany stayed close next to Zach and the way that she stared at him with a dreamy look in her eye.

It was a look that Carol knew all too well and she guessed that Brittany was falling in love with him.

It wasn’t hard for and any woman to fall for Zach. He was a good man and everyone knew that and. These days those types of men were hard to come by.

He had been there for Brittany when she needed him and so it was only natural for her to grow feelings for him.

"I see that the two of you had a good time together." Carol said to the two of them.

Zach hummed as he nodded his head at her absentmindedly. He had no idea of the turmoil going on with the woman that was stood beside him.

Brittany on the other hand couldn’t help but blush at Carol’s words.

"Well I will leave you too ladies to it. I know that you have things to discuss. So I will leave the two of you alone. I had a fun time Brittany and I would like to go out with you again. Your words are insightful." He said to her as he looked over at her with a smile.

Her face heated up slightly at his words as he turned away from hewr. Carol however couldn’t help but grin at the sight as she found herself taking in this new side of her.

Carol liked the fact that Brittany was starting to open up more and she was thrilled to see this side of her.

"Yes well I did enjoy going out with you. As well." She said to him and she watched as he hummed.

"well we have a lot of things to do Brittany so we should get going." Carol said as she linked her arm with Brittany’s.

Brittany ,looked towards her in confusion as she turned towards Zach for a moment.

She didn’t want to go just yet but she knew that it would be too strange.

He cleared his throat before nodding his head and then speaking up. "Well yes that is true I also have something to take care of. And so with that I bid you both goodbye." he said to them before he turned around to leave.

Carol couldn’t help but squeal the moment that he was gone and Brittany couldn’t help but look toward her in bewilderment.

She couldn’t help but struggle to understand what was going on and why she was acting so strangely.

She had no time to react as the princes pulled her towards her bedroom Before closing the door behind her.

"Princess what is going on." Brittany asked her with concern.

She watched as Carol smirked before she wiggled her brows at her slightly and slapped her arm lightly.

"Well don’t act like you don’t know what is going on. I saw what was going on back there." Carol said as she struggled to keep in her excitement.

However Brittany was still confused by what she was trying to say and she struggled to make sense of it.

"I don’t understand princess. What happened back where." Brittany said to her.

"with you and Zach of curse. I can tell that you are drawn to him." Carol said to her with a grin on her face.

Brittany couldn’t help but freeze instantly as she took in her words. She gulped as she tried to take in her words.

She couldn’t help but chuckle after a moment as she shook her head. "I don’t understand what you mean. There is nothing that is going on between the two of us." She said to the princess.

It sounded ridiculous for her to even think about it in that way. She couldn’t have been attracted to Zach. He was way out of her league and she didn’t deserve him.

Brittany couldn’t help but shake her head at his words almost instantly. She clearly had to be joking.

She couldn’t have a thing for Zach because she knew that things between them would never work out.

He was too high up in the empire and although he tried to make her feel although she was just as valuable and that she was just as important that was far from the reality of it.

She let out as sigh from her lips as she shook her head and bit down on her lip before she answered.

"Well I think that you are very wrong. There is nothing that is going on between Zach and me and we both know that there is nothing that could ever. Go on between the two of is." She said to her in a mutter under her breath.

Carol noticed the change in her demeanor and she could tell that she was slowly slipping back into her old self but she shook her head and he grabbed as hold of her hands before shaking. Her head at her.

She wasn’t about to allow herself to fall into another bout of depression.

"Look of curse you could be in love with him. I don’t see a reason why not you are beautiful, kind and smart and anyone would be lucky to have you. I know that you are worried about the fact that its Zach and that he holds a much higher position than you do but I have told you before already that you shouldn’t worry about that. It is not important and you are just as important as anyone else." Carol said to her.

She let out a sigh form her lips as she slowly nodded her head at her. She didn’t want to believe her words but there was still a part of her that told her that they were the truth.

She did want to believe that she was strong and that she was beautiful and that she was worthy of having Zach’s affection and maybe it was time for her to step out of her comfort zone and begin to come to terms with that being a possibility.

"Now come on. There is no need for you to pretend about it any further we both know that it is true and I am happy for you." Carol said to her and she couldn’t help but feel her cheeks heat up at her words. She sucked in a deep breath before letting out a sigh from her lips.

She couldn’t help but blush even now at the thought of Zach. She knew that she couldn’t deny it any further and there wasn’t a single doubt in her mind that she cared for Zach.

She could never imagine a possibility if him ever returning those feelings to her but after she was able to watch him today she felt as though she wasn’t so sure anymore.
