He watched as Marico chuckled lightly before shaking his head. "It is fine and there is no reason for you to be ashamed. It is not as though you have done something terribly wrong. I know that you are used to doing things on your own and you are used to being the one who is in charge but it is time for you to stop that and for you to allow. Other people to step up and help you out with that." Marico said to him as he tried to say it to him in a convincing tone.

"But you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your dignity and put all of your other things on the line just in order for you to be able to protect me. you have done more than enough for me and I can’t keep asking you to make such sacrifices just. For me." Zach said to him.

However Marico didn’t seem as though he was going to budge at any moment. He didn’t see things the way that Zach did. He saw no trouble with helping him out and there was a part of him that felt bad for withdrawing the information form Zach. He felt as though their trust had been broken. And maybe this was the way for him to be able to get it back.

He needed this so that they could be stronger together and they would be able to rely on each other.

"I will be doing this for you because I want. To." He said to him firmly and he left no room for argument.

"and what are you going to get in return. What benefit are you going to get from this." Zach asked him and he watched as he shrugged his shoulders at him in response before letting out a sigh from his lips.

"I don’t want anything in return. The knowledge of the fact that I was able to help you out is comfort enough and it is more than what I need." Marico said to him and Zach let out a. sigh as he couldn’t help but sigh as he ran a hands through his hair.

"Well I am still not sure of what to say to this."

"it is fine. we may be strong now but we both know that we are stronger together. That is the point of the partnership that we are there to help each other out when we need it. I am your strength when you need it." He said to him calmly.

Zach wasn’t entirely sure what to say to that but he couldn’t help but feel grateful for his words. "well I don’t know what to say to that." Zach said to him calmy. And he watched as he chuckled before shaking his head.

He took a step closer to Zach as the others stood around looking at them cautiously.

"you know that I will always be there to help you out when you need it there is no need for that." Marico said to him.

"But I know that this will put on a strain on you and your family and I don’t want that to happen to you. I don’t want it to cause you to have any issues that may arise in the future." Zach said to him honestly.

He watched as Marico shook his head art him in response.

"It isn’t a permanent agreement so you don’t have to worry." Marico said to him in understanding.,

Zach furrowed his brows as he wondered what he meant. "What do you mean by it isnt a permanent situation." Zach said.

"well I know that the smiths are a very strong family and I also am aware of the fact that it is only a matter of time before they are able to get themselves back up on their feet. The Windsor’s will be able to help you out until them when you will be able to stand on your own feet. When you are able to get back control of your empire the Windsor’s will back down and we will allow you to take back control of everything. That I assure you. Everything is just for a short period of time." Marico said to him in assurance.

"I can tell that you truly are a loyal friend and a true partner and I don’t know what I would do without you." Zach said to him with a smile as he offered him a hand for him to shake.

He watched as Marico’s eyes flickered with something dangerous for a moment that he wasn’t entirely sure what it was but he soon shook his head before shaking his head and reaching his hand to shake his hand once more.

"you should know that we are always going to be there to help you during your time of crisis and we will help you through any problems that you are able to encounter. You should never have to worry about encountering any issues." Marico said.

Zach nodded his head as he slowly pulled away from him. However he was shocked when he watched as Marico stepped forward once more and leaned in close to his ear before whispering the next words to him.

"You may find us being allies now but you should know that it doesn’t make us friends. There are only eternal interests which is what we share now. But there are no eternal friendships. So if I were you I would be careful." Zach tried to keep his face passive as he listened to Marico’s words however her couldn’t deny the fact that his words sounded more like a threat rather than words of comfort.

He watched as he slowly pulled away from him as he took as moment to run his gaze over Zach. It was as though he was testing him and trying to see if he would react but Zach remained quiet. Her guessed that in. a sense he was glad that he had made his intentions clear early on and he ensured that there was no confusion on the communication between them.

They were not friends in fact they were far from it. They were simply nothing more than two individuals who shared common interests with one another and that was how it would remain. Zach wasn’t looking for friendship either and he had only continued to maintain. Ties between the two of them because he wished to be civil. However he had made it now abundantly clear to him that he didn’t want to have any of that.

With Zach’s acceptance of his help Marico is able to keep to his words. He had done what he had sought to achieve and that was to show Zach that he needed him on his side.

He had reached out to Ronaldo. Who was furious after the altercation that he had with Zach. He wanted to ensure that he paid and he wanted to make sure that he taught him a decent lesson. One didn’t dimply go through an altercation with the army and come out of it clean.

There were dues to be paid. However Marico was able to get to him in time. He was quick to remind him of the bond that was shared between their two families. And the fact that they had to maintain the sanctity of the ties.

Ronaldo was reluctant at first but Marico maid it clear that if he didn’t agree that there would be consequences for the military that Ronaldo wouldn’t liker.

Ronaldo knew better than to break the bonds of family and he didn’t want to interfere in such matter. Despite his own interests her chose that it would be best for him to agree;

Ronaldo decided then that he would put aside his need for revenge for now if it meant that he would be able to maintain the peace between him and Marico.

At least he would out it away from te surface. However what Marico didn’t know wouldn’t him.

Because Ronaldo wasn’t one to forgive and forget and he wasn’t about to allow Zach to get away with what he had done to him. One way or another and sooner rather than later he was going to get his revenge and that would include that sweet delectable. Brittany whom they had tried to keep away from him.

Brittany was able to see everything around her unfold.

She couldn’t believe what Zach had done and what he was willing to do in order for him to stand by her side. she hadn’t met anyone like him.

He may have been the leader and the protector but he didn’t treat them like serv ants or slaves but he acted as though they were equals.

He never allowed for anything wrong to happen to them and he was always very adamant in standing by their sides and being there for them when they needed the help the most.

Sher knew that if she had been under the control of any other master they would have blamed her for what happened before.

They wouldn’t hesitate to punish her for causing the mess and most of them would even go as far as forcing her to sleep with Ronaldo so that they could get an easy way out of the deal.

Ashe knew that there was a time when she had been hesitant about trusting Zach however now any of that previous doubt had been completely diminished and she had none of it left.

She knew that he was admirable and that her was true to his words and that was one of the reasons that she had come to admire him even more.
