It seemed that they had truly attracted the notice of a really big group this time. There were only a few names who could have groups with more than twenty people within them.

"What are we going to do?!" Sky said, trembling. "You mean to tell me they already know where we are and they can just invade us anytime they want?"

"We could move," Bernadette suggested. "We have a few more territories don’t we? It may not have the resources we need, but at least it’s isolated. They won’t know where we are."

Discussions amongst the group began, with one side wanting to move immediately, and the other, wanting to go on the offensive.

"We should take the fight to them," said Abe. "If they invade us, then we should invade them."

"Their scouting party already has more people than we have in our group," said Sierra. "They’ll definitely have more people in their main camp. There’s no way we can invade them so easily."

"What are we worrying about? We have Eren by our side," said Abe, putting his hands around Eren’s shoulders.

It was at this point that Delia walked up sheepishly. "I know that we had just become allies... but I have something to say."

Everyone turned silent, receptive of her request.

"From a tactical perspective, attacking the other group without knowing anything about them is suicide. And simply retreating off into another Territory is just delaying the inevitable. They’re going to find us one way or the other," she said.

"Then what do you suggest," said Henry, arms crossed in his chest.

Delia pointed towards the trees around them. "Right now, our greatest strength are these Array Formations. These trees helped us defend against twenty people easily. It will also work with fifty or maybe even a hundred people.

Moving away from such a great defensive structure is not the right move."

Hearing a different perspective from the Academic Sector had definitely calmed everybody down. She was right. They saw how effective these trees had been in defending their Territory.

"But it is also idiotic to simply rely on these trees for our only defense. My suggestion is that we add more Array Formations in our base for defense. That is where we come in. Traps are what we specialize in.

And if our opponent really is a big group, then I’m willing to bet that they also have some Academic Sector members within them. They’ll have also put traps in their camp, making it a lot harder to invade."

Sierra seemed convinced. "That sounds good... yeah. Let’s build more traps... how are we going to do that?"

"We just need more materials," said Delia. "We’ll have to buy them from the market. I saw some good materials there earlier."

"That’s great!" Sky said. "Let’s build a hundred traps. No, a thousand!"

"Phew... I thought it needed more things. But if it’s just materials, we can buy them easily."

Hearing their words, Delia couldn’t help but frown. Didn’t they know that this was the hardest part about creating Array Formations? The materials for them were probably a lot more expensive here in the Subterranean Burrows than in the real world.

After all, everything here would be bought using sunspores.

And everybody needed sunspores. They couldn’t very well spend all of their reserves in buying materials for their Array Formations. Otherwise, what would they use for exploration in the tunnels?

"How much do you need?" Eren asked Delia.

"I don’t know... two thousand sunspores," she said off-handedly.

Eren then led Delia towards their sunspore reserve buried under a tree. Once he unearthed their buried treasure, Delia couldn’t help but gasp out loud.

"That’s... that’s more than two thousand!"

She couldn’t believe her eyes. A small group such as Eren’s was able to accrue that much sunspores in a small amount of time?!

As far as she knew, even the big groups only had about a few thousand sunspores in their reserves. They might have a lot of members to harvest sunspores, but that meant that they also had a lot of mouths to feed.

"How about it? Is that enough?" Eren asked.

"I just said two thousand because I wanted to exaggerate... yes, this is more than enough," Delia said. "We’ll be able to make a lot of traps with the materials we’ll be able to buy with this... but should we?

Shouldn’t you save up these sunspores for a later use?"

Eren shook his head. "There’s no need."

"We’ll just go on a few more excursions on the other tunnels," said Abe.

"Most of the tunnels with sunspores have been explored by now," Delia argued.

"Good," said Henry. "This means that they’ll have used a lot of sunspores to explore those."

It was at this point that Celeste approached Delia. "This is one of our trump cards," she said. "Our leader here knows how to replenish sunspores."

And before Delia could even question those words, Eren picked up the broken sunspore that the lanky man had used in their fight.

He held it in his hands and supplied it with R?zoň.

Once he opened his hands, the sunspore had returned to its pristine condition.

"GASP!"

Eventually, Delia and her group got accustomed to this game-breaking news. They were astounded with Eren’s ability, and were soon as excited as the others about the prospect of getting more broken sunspores from the ground.

"So that’s why you guys were taking the broken sunspores from the ground!" Delia said.

"Yeah. They’re free money," said Sierra. "Aren’t you feeling lucky now? You’re allied with the only group who has an unlimited amount of sunspores in their reserves!"

Delia nodded. "I have a lot of ideas for Array Formations we could use. We should buy the materials now!"

Basically every able-bodied member in their group escorted Delia in the market. After all, they were carrying two thousand sunspores in them. They didn’t want to be ambushed again and be robbed of their treasures.

It wasn’t long before they bought everything they needed to create the traps.
