Eren unleashed a Primal Strike directed in Becker’s chest. Becker simply chose to look down at his chest, trying to Reinforce it just like Eren.

A thin mist of hazy red aura appeared on Becker’s chest.

Since they were in such close proximity to each other, Becker knew that Eren wouldn’t be able to unleash a very powerful punch. He only had to endure this one attack, and it would be okay.

But soon after he thought that, the Reinforcement in his chest shattered, with motes of red light dissipating into the wind.

Eren’s Primal Strike hit him square in the chest, taking the breath from Becker’s lungs completely.

Becker was launched backwards, into the arms of his other team members. They caught him, surprised to see that their leader was leaking blood from his mouth!

"Tch," Becker spat out. "Take your formations. You and you and you. Come with me. We’ll deal with this guy together."

"But we’ve got our hands busy dealing with those eagles and snakes!"

Becker took him by the collar. "Then destroy them, just like we destroyed them back then! Lure them to Delia’s group for all I care!"

His bloodlust for Eren made him unaware of the current situation he was in. Twenty members were barely enough for them to deal with the Snakes and Eagles attacking them from above. Taking away three people now would break that balance and quickly make it completely disadvantageous to their group.

But since he was their leader, they had no choice but to follow Becker’s words.

Eren kept his feet steady on the ground. Four people now encircled him from all sides. His mind raced with different kinds of moves to get out of this predicament.

He looked at them all individually.

Becker was filled with bloodlust. He was going to attack Eren no matter what.

The other three were a lot different. They were distracted. Eren could see them glancing backwards, towards their other group members who were being barraged by the Snakes and Eagles attacking them from above.

A chance!

He surged forwards, keeping his body low using the Primal Step. Despite being in a near horizontal position, his body kept balanced thanks to the Negative Reinforcement on his sole.

The one on the right was late to react. He twisted his body to dodge. Eren followed his movements with a straight jab to his side.

His opponent crumpled, ribs breaking. He wouldn’t be able to come back up in another twenty seconds or so.

Three more to go.

Eren felt a searing hotness beside him. He saw his other two opponents charging at him from the same side.

Their attacks overlapped. One of them swung a sword that would arc towards his neck down straight to his chest. The other one used a Reinforced kick that intercepted Eren’s path of avoidance.

Eren had no choice but to move forwards, into the path of their attack.

He let the sword hit his neck. Reinforcement kept it staggered a few inches above his skin. The man’s Martial Manual only helped his sword become hard to avoid, not hard to defend.

Then, Eren used his Primal Strike to attack the kick coming his way. Reinforcement clashed with Reinforcement.

A Primal Strike versus a 6-star Martial Manual.

And yet, Eren’s punch easily shattered the Reinforcement in the man’s kick, causing it to bend backwards awkwardly. He’s out for a few seconds as well.

Eren now turned his attention to the other guy with the sword. He’s distracted. He couldn’t pull out his sword from being stuck in Eren’s Reinforcement.

With a readied attack, Eren unleashed a Primal Strike straight to his face.

At the same time, a hotness seared behind him. This time, it felt like hot lava pouring directly on his skin.

Becker appeared with a bloodlusted smile as he attacked Eren at the same time he attacked. It was the only point where he was vulnerable, Becker thought.

Eren’s punch connected to the man’s face. At the same time, Becker’s gauntleted hands struck him from behind.

But suddenly, a hazy red mist appeared behind Eren, just for a brief second, slowing down Becker’s strike just enough for its force to become nullified.

Shock and surprise filled Becker’s face as he saw his attack hit something feeling almost indestructible.

"How...."

Before he heard the answer to that, Eren twisted his body and delivered a backhanded strike straight into Becker’s temple, knocking him straight out immediately.

Becker crumpled to the side, letting Eren finally take a brief respite in this hectic battle.

Everywhere around Eren, there was silence.

He looked around and noticed that the Eagles and Snakes were up in the air, static and unmoving. Under them, Becker’s group mates were already down and out. They had been defeated, but in turn, they also defeated some of the Array Formation constructs, as evidenced from the debris on the ground.

Eren was absolutely exhausted at this point. He had exerted him greatly. Fighting four opponents at the same time took a great mental toll on him, as he had to keep his concentration up to the maximum at all times.

If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have won. He wouldn’t have even survived.

But it wasn’t over yet.

He looked over towards the other group. Delia’s group. They looked at him warily, with their guards up as if they were ready to attack him at any second.

Some of them began to approach. They realized this was the only chance they’d get to fight Eren.

Panting and chasing his breath, Eren looked towards the entrance to see if he could escape.

But it was at that moment that he noticed a pair of eyes in the shadows, which were slowly creeping behind Delia’s group.

It was Celeste, along with the rest of his group. They were ready to pounce at any moment.

Things were tense for a few seconds, with both sides not knowing if they should attack first or not.

Then, Delia stepped forward, pony-tail swinging. "We surrender! We do not wish to fight you."
