Reincarnation Paradise Park
Chapter 1634: You Hybrid Scum
The flames blazed fiercely within the sewer. Although the violator was chopped into several pieces by Su Xiao, and his head was crushed, he still wasn’t dead.
The high temperature from the burning napalm spread throughout the sewer. The violator’s head gradually reassembled in the flames, but his regeneration speed was suppressed by the surrounding heat.
Su Xiao leapt back a few steps, evading the incoming heat wave. Violator No. 10777 wasn’t actually weak; he was just too accustomed to fighting using his regeneration ability. Now facing the Soul Walker, a weapon particularly effective against regenerative abilities, he ended up in this predicament.
The Soul Walker, as a Legendary Weapon, lacked the sharpness of other weapons of the same tier and wasn’t indestructible either. Its sole ability was named ‘Soul Rend,’ which was its main strength.
The short knife flipped in Su Xiao’s hand, gleaming coldly. He stared intently at the flames ahead to prevent the violator from escaping.
The napalm burned for nearly an hour before extinguishing. Steam rose within the sewer as Su Xiao sliced with his short knife, the wind pressure scattering the steam.
The ground was covered with sparks, and several heaps of ashes could be seen faintly. The violator’s head was still slowly regenerating, but compared to before, his regeneration speed was now much slower.
“Am I… dying?”
The violator grinned, his eyes rolled up as he looked at Su Xiao slowly approaching.
“One last question, who exactly… am I?”
Ding!
The Soul Walker flew out from Su Xiao’s hand, pinning the violator’s head. In truth, he was a pitiful person, defeated by his own abilities.
“No. 10777.”
As Su Xiao spoke, he stepped on the handle of the Soul Walker, and Blue Steel Shadow Energy spread along the blade.
“That’s right, I’m contractor No. 10777. No, no, I should be adjudicator No. 21478. I see now, I unknowingly was defeated by that madman No. 10777. You Reincarnation Paradise folks… are all lunatics, why did you attack me back then, damn it!”
The violator’s head gradually shattered, yet he smiled because he finally remembered who he was—adjudicator No. 21478 from Apocalypse Paradise, executing judgment tasks in a certain War World, battling a team from Reincarnation Paradise.
Evidently, in the chaos of that War World, Reincarnation Paradise’s contractors wouldn’t care who he was; as long as he was from Apocalypse or Radiance, they’d kill them all!
What followed was somewhat strange. Reincarnation Paradise’s contractor No. 10777 had undead abilities. When his teammates were all killed by Apocalypse Paradise’s adjudicator No. 21478, he went berserk, merging a section of the battlefield with his body, in which there were 16 contractors and adjudicator No. 21478.
Subsequent developments grew even stranger. The consciousnesses of both Reincarnation Paradise’s contractor No. 10777 and adjudicator No. 21478 didn’t perish; they entered the same body, which was contractor No. 10777’s body with super-speed regeneration. As for the consciousnesses of the other 16 contractors, they were long removed by these two.
This powerful body, disregarding rejection between soul and body, fused with a large section of space and didn’t die, so what harm was there in a few foreign souls? After a fierce internal battle, the consciousnesses of contractor No. 10777 and adjudicator No. 21478 nearly merged. At this stage, everyone else was already dead. The only thing remaining was a shell and chaotic consciousness.
With a pop, violator No. 10777’s head exploded, and this pitiful soul dispersed, no longer controlling this shell with muddled awareness.
In reality, violator No. 10777 lacked clear goals. He acted on whims, sometimes recalling a past first love and would abduct a few high school girls to torment. Other times, remembering his grandfather, he’d find an old man to reminisce.
[Successfully cleansed violator No. 10777.]
[Successfully cleansed adjudicator No. 21478 (belonging to Apocalypse Paradise).]
[You’ve received Golden Honor Medal x7.]
…
Seeing Reincarnation Paradise’s notification, Su Xiao finally understood why this violator with chaotic consciousness was worth seven Golden Honor Medals—because the person was actually an adjudicator from Apocalypse Paradise.
Cleansing violators doesn’t always carry great risks. Among the many violators Su Xiao has cleansed, there were jokesters, cowards, and those with a death wish. This violator at most was quite bizarre.
“Phew~”
Su Xiao exhaled deeply. Having cleared the violator, a third of the heavy burden on his shoulders was lifted. Now he could focus all his efforts against the Blood Gate, or rather, as long as he could stall them and prevent them from completing their group main task, they’d all die from forced execution.
Sometimes, you don’t need to fight the enemy to the death. Being executed by Reincarnation Paradise is even more devastating for the Blood Gate people compared to being slain by Su Xiao.
Just as Su Xiao was about to track Bubu Wang’s coordinates to interfere with the three from Blood Gate completing their group main task, A Mu sent an urgent call for help—Rin Tohsaka was attacked.
…
In a parking lot, the spread of ice was vast, and the car alarms were deafeningly loud.
Boom!
A blood spear swept across, slicing the alarm-ringing car in half.
Cold air rose continuously within the parking lot, as A Mu wielded the Ice Warhammer facing off against a Heroic Spirit, none other than Lancer Cu Chulainn.
Blood dripped down from A Mu’s arm, with at least a dozen penetrating wounds on his body, not caused by Cu Chulainn, but someone else.
Not far behind A Mu, Rin Tohsaka’s fingertips held several gemstones, and traces of blood could faintly be seen on her face—A Mu’s blood.
“Lancer, as a hero from mythology, this behavior is too despicable.”
Rin Tohsaka panted heavily, speaking to Cu Chulainn but her glance drifted toward two people in the distance.
By the parking lot’s edge, two people stood behind the iron railing. One had a head full of blue curls, appearing the same age as Rin Tohsaka, smiling at her with narrowed eyes.
“Gilgamesh, after we kill that Minotaur Heroic Spirit, make sure to capture its Master alive. I really want to see her look of despair then.”
The blue-haired curly-haired man’s face pressed against the wire mesh, looking at Rin Tohsaka’s long socks and beautiful legs under her short skirt. Upon noticing her gaze, he waved off her obvious dislike.
“Trash.”
The blond man beside the blue-haired man sneered, showing no pretension despite being allies now, barely glancing at him before ignoring him.
“Hey, I’m your proxy Master after all. Can’t you show some respect?”
The blue-haired man scoffed. He was Shinji Matou, a scion of the ‘Matou House’ from the Three Major Magic Families. Of course, he knew all about the Holy Grail War, and despite having no Mage Qualification, he participated in this war. As for the blond man beside him, he was King of Heroes · Gilgamesh, having participated in the previous Holy Grail War.
According to Su Xiao’s storyline progress in the Holy Grail World, Gilgamesh wasn’t expected to appear, having been slain by Su Xiao. His participation in this Fifth Holy Grail War was indeed a miracle.
“You’re just a wastrel, a wastrel should have some self-awareness.”
The golden flash didn’t even look directly at Shinji Matou, but would occasionally converse when in a good mood.
Shinji Matou’s expression turned unnatural, for being insulted as a wastrel and mongrel to one’s face doesn’t feel good.
