The Legendary Chest·Hunt didn’t flash, yet it yielded three items which were very practical. The Soul Crystals don’t need much explanation. As for the [Miracle of the Gods], its value even surpasses that of a Legendary Gear, for a simple reason: directly obtaining a Legendary Gear doesn’t necessarily suit Su Xiao, but upgrading equipment from Light Gold or above quality to Legendary Tier offers diverse choices.

The [Universal World Key] is also a worthy item, as it allows Su Xiao to freely choose a Derivative World, and its specific value depends on his personal abilities.

Though it didn’t flash, the loot was substantial. Chests with suffixes like this one belong to the top-level of Legendary Quality chests, valued only lower than Epic chests.

Su Xiao hasn’t decided which equipment to upgrade using the [Miracle of the Gods] yet. Ideally, he would enhance the quality of [Fate Redemption], but unfortunately, it’s only Purple Quality, still two grades below Light Gold.

The Eye of the Apostle, King’s Royal Dignity, Destroyer (Belt), Kinetic Boots, Duke of Extinction +13 — these five pieces of equipment can all be upgraded to Legendary Tier using [Miracle of the Gods]. The Destroyer and Kinetic Boots are first to be excluded, as they are hardly worthwhile.

As for the Eye of the Apostle, King’s Royal Dignity, Duke of Extinction +13, the Duke of Extinction has the most potential for enhancement, but enhancing it may cause a drop in its Enhancement Level, and without this, the Duke of Extinction is not a very strong weapon.

Although the attached abilities of the King’s Royal Dignity aren’t impressive, this is one of Su Xiao’s most frequently used pieces of equipment, as it protects his left arm, worn on it. Unfortunately, it’s a Light Gold Suit, and who knows what attributes might appear after promoting it to Legendary Tier.

The Eye of the Apostle is a decent choice, but its detection tier isn’t that high. If upgrading its quality doesn’t raise its detection tier, it would be a tremendous loss, like bleeding three liters of blood.

Detection equipment values its detection tier over quality. As long as the tier is high enough, even low-grade detection equipment can sell for high prices. Su Xiao once saw a Blue Quality item that, through two gemstones, had its detection tier raised to fifth tier and sold for 970,000 Paradise coin, rivaling Golden Equipment and nearly matching Legendary Gear.

After some consideration, Su Xiao realized none of his equipment below Legendary Tier was suitable for a tier upgrade, so he had to temporarily put away the [Miracle of the Gods].

Finished with opening chests, Su Xiao began considering selling equipment or items unsuitable for him for Paradise coin, or trading them.

He handed [Embrace of Death (Legendary Skill Scroll)] and [Scent Temptation (Golden Item)] to Bennie, instructing it and Bubu Wang to sell them at the trading market, converting them into Paradise coin.

Having mostly dealt with the gained resources, Su Xiao focused on enhancing his own abilities, prioritizing the Sword Grandmaster Lv.12.

[Upgrade Sword Grandmaster Lv.12? This upgrade requires Soul Crystal (Complete) ×1 + 100,000 Paradise coin.]

As Su Xiao had speculated, after Lv.10, the upgrade cost for Sword Grandmaster increased sharply. Up to now, he only obtained one Soul Crystal (Complete), which served little purpose in storage space, so he decided to use it for upgrading Sword Grandmaster.

Holding the Soul Crystal (Complete) in his hand, it shattered with a crisp sound, the crystal, the size of a fist, crumbling and surging into Su Xiao.

Light and shadow flickered, and figures appeared in Su Xiao’s mind, along with an influx of knowledge and experience in swordsmanship.

A buzzing sound occurred in Su Xiao’s brain, due to his brain processing a large amount of information rapidly. The knowledge he absorbed was hard-earned and accumulated experiences of numerous sword users.

[Sword Grandmaster has been upgraded to Lv.13.]

Su Xiao checked the changes in Sword Grandmaster.

[Sword Grandmaster: Lv.13 (Passive Skill)]

Skill Effect: Increases sword attack power by 345% (9% increase), nerve reflex speed by 44% (5% increase), immune to mental control, immune to mind system confusion, induction, etc.

Initial Additional Ability: Rule of All Things Lv.MAX.

Blade Aura: Lv.60.

Lv.10 Ultimate Ability: Shadow Flash (Active).

…

After leveling Sword Grandmaster above Lv.10, although each level increases sword attack power considerably, compared to the 5% nerve reflex speed increase per level, the former is just cumulative.

After enhancing his swordsmanship, Su Xiao took out a gemstone, namely the [Fragmented Stone of Soul Severing Shadow (Legendary)], which has extremely strong attributes, each enhancing Dragon Slash’s sharpness by 28 points.

Dragon Slash already had five Legendary Gems inlaid, so Su Xiao was skilled in gemstone inlaying. Spending 40,000 Paradise coin, the inlay of the Soul Shadow Stone began.

The [Fragmented Stone of Soul Severing Shadow] in Su Xiao’s hand started to float up, its volume rapidly shrinking until it became the size of a grain of rice.

White light enveloped the handle of Dragon Slash, a small groove emerging at the handle’s end. The significantly shrunken [Fragmented Stone of Soul Severing Shadow] fit into the groove, completing the inlay, adding a new inlay effect to Dragon Slash’s attributes: sharpness +29 points.

Unlike the previous Fragmented Stone of Soul Severing Shadow, the second one Su Xiao inlaid unexpectedly increased sharpness by 29 points, with that extra point being a pleasant surprise.

After completing all these tasks, Su Xiao opened the mail in his Reincarnation Mark, and sure enough, there were several emails from the Divine Emperor:

‘A set?! Brother Bai Ye, please, sell it to us, you name the price.’

‘Brother Bai Ye? Busy?’

‘Take a moment to reply, my little princess is barely holding back.’

…

Even from a few words, it was evident that the Divine Emperor anticipated the impending impact on his wallet, no, a fatal wound.

As the leader of a large Adventure group, the Divine Emperor couldn’t keep sending emails endlessly. With three being the limit, he carefully balanced revealing his intent to purchase the Ascension Set while attempting to avoid a lethal blow to his funds. This fine line of behavior filled with complex mental activity was ultimately in vain — the lethal strike was all but assured.
