Chapter 774 - 774: A fundamentally different kind of fight (part 4)

'Are you kidding me, why did her attack power skyrocketed like that, the metal field she created around her is of a different color than the barrier which is isolating the battlefield too… wait a second, don't tell me that she wasn't using both of her energies for her techniques until a moment ago!', thought Arlion.

The past king's confusion was understandable, when she used mana, in other words prior to the world raid event, the silver color of Asha's lightning was indeed achieved through her metal mana mixing with her lightning one, which just like Daimon's is purple amethyst colored by innate, though Daimon changes it by mixing it with darkness since in public, he is a variant from the main branches of the Revy family like Erin.

But as far as her energies are concerned, her lightning has that pretty silver tone because of its positive orientation, the same applies to her metal affinity energy, while for her mana the default color was indeed a silver one like that of her hair, for Aisha's energy, it completely depended on what properties she was giving to it.

That's why Arlion thought that the metal field which protected Aisha earlier, which was also used by her to cast silver lightning nova, was of a different color than demonite field, demonite is silver-white colored, Aisha inspired its creation in Daimon after all, and Daimon's unique affinity, demon's light is white colored, of course she didn't outright copy it, but added her own touch to it, which was the silver shade of its tone, since well, demonite is her imaginary magic metal after all.

So, here you might wonder where did the silver tone of the metal field which added the metal element to her technique came from, and the answer is simple, the metal type she used for silver lightning nova, was none other than mithril also known as high purity magic silver back at the four galaxies.

The reason for her choice, is that mithril is of extreme positive nature, so it enhanced the already high heat production of Aisha's lightning, to produce a large focused explosion, in other words the silver lightning nova.

"Oh, that shield and sword must have been some really high-quality magic treasures, considering that they nullified the heat of my silver lightning nova", casually said Aisha.

She wasn't mocking Arlion, both the shield and the sword manifested by Arlion had anti-mage properties, if he had been only using the white armor, his battle avatar would have melted due to the silver nova.

"I already thought so, but your lineage is surprisingly not negative oriented, or more accurately, it is not "directly" negative, right…", Aisha's words which made Arlion's eyes contract like needles were interrupted by a white giant spear appearing for the past king's battle avatar to wield, that was yet another replicated piece of equipment, which he used to thrust at Aisha.

"Clang!", naturally the metal field from earlier was projected by Aisha's pretty silver wings, clashing head on with the incoming spear, which resulted in sparks and the sound of metals colliding.

That being said, now that Aisha had confirmed that Arlion's lineage wasn't of extreme negative orientation, she left aside mithril metal property and tried a different one for her defensive field, the one of the devil sea ore to be more accurate, given the green tone of the metal field.

"Hsssss!", like previously mentioned, devil sea ore is the equal of antinite but for knights, in other words it has the capacity of suppressing vitality and battle aura instead of mana like antinite would do.

"Damn it!", Arlion cursed as he saw the borders of his spear starting to lose their solidness as they released smoke, which made him retrieve the spear in a hurry, just in time for Aisha to point her pretty right index finger frontwards.

"Silver Breaking Javelin", the "silver" word in the name of the javelin techniques which Aisha used referred to the lightning element already by the way, by default she used "piercing" which was also related to lightning element, as previously stated silver lightning nova was the first attack type technique used by Aisha in which she used lightning and metal energies, so she hadn't used a javelin with metal energy until now, and judging by the green hue that the two one kilometer wide silver lightning streams she just shot had, the "breaking" word was used for her techniques which used sea devil ore property.

"White Wave Breaking Step!", Arlion noticed it too, as a past king from the clear water kingdom, he was aware of the existence of sea devil ore after all, so he directly used his movement martial art to dodge the attacks.

Unfortunately for him, while he was able to dodge the first of the two breaking javelins, Aisha could alter their trajectory which she did it for the second one making it catch up with Arlion when he reappeared.

"Boooom!", the shield from earlier was manifested just in time to block the javelin, which resulted in a loud explosion, that being said, the javelin had a different property than the silver nova from earlier, as its name said, the thing crushed the shield on the spot and reached Arlion's spear which he had used as provisional defense.

"Crack!", despite the javelin having exhausted some of its power to destroy the shield, an attack focused equipment such as a spear was not meant to be used that way, so basically at the same time as it was reached by the javelin, it was destroyed.

That being said, Arlion had managed to safely avoid Aisha's attack, though he lost the spear in the process, it's not like he couldn't manifest it again just as he did with the shield a moment ago.

"Hsssss!", in fact listening to the sizzling sound of electricity gathering in the sky, Arlion manifested not only the same triangular shield from earlier, he also created a different second one, this one was a tower shield, both were positioned above his battle avatar though.

"Silver Breaking Descend", just in time for the lightning and metal energy version of Aisha's basic wide area attack type technique to be casted by the silver-haired vampire mother, by using the property of the sea devil ore given the "breaking" word added to the name.

"Booooom!", building sized countless silver lightnings with a green hue added to their tone, descended all over a ten-kilometer area, one directly hit the triangular shield and destroyed it on the spot, however a loud explosion was produced as the lightning was stopped by the tower shield.

'Well, sea devil ore is something I originally found in Neptune and this guy was a king of one of the four seas, so it's not weird that he could gather enough of it to make a shield, such a thing would have been recorded somewhere if it happened in the open though', thought Aisha.

Sea devil ore is a really scarce resource that could basically be only found with luck, as it couldn't be detected with mana sense, well, if technology had progressed in Neptune as much as it was advancing at the four galaxies, mostly thanks to the different generations of Greenwich sages that had existed, they could have developed a device to not have to blindly look for it, since antinite can't be found with mana sense either, so that's how they do it back at the four galaxies.

Anyway, having a whole sea under his authority, probably allowed Arlion to gather enough of such a rare material to make equipment out of it, ah right, in case that you think that the shield's replica is contradictory, as it is manifested with battle aura, but its property would be to suppress battle aura, that's easy to answer, just like how a knight who is familiar with his weapon wouldn't wound himself with it by mistake, the replica of that tower shield didn't affect its owner's battle aura negatively.

And since it was "made" with devil sea ore, it was unaffected by the battle aura suppressive property of Aisha's metal energy, that being said the lightning energy was a completely different thing, after all Aisha wasn't using battle aura.

That's why Arlion used the triangular shield to block first, in order to exhaust the lightning energy in the attack.

While the tower shield did the trick for Arlion and only suffered small amounts of damage from the wide area technique, which were repaired as soon as they appeared, it's not like Aisha could only use one technique at the time.

"Silver Explosive Javelin", this time she went with the mithril property of the lightning and metal energy powered javelin technique, which for attack techniques in Aisha's case increased explosive power, since the purifying part was more for support-oriented techniques, anyway, two dazzling dual silver toned one-kilometer-wide lightning streams were shot at Arlion whose tower shield was busy blocking the silver breaking descend.

What's more, even if he moved the tower shield, the explosive javelins had nothing to do with sea devil ore, so the property of the tower shield would be useless against it, it would be blasted away by the explosive javelins which had the concentrated power of the lightning nova from earlier.

"White Wave Breaking Step!", and Arlion knew it, so instead of trying to block the incoming dual silver toned lightning streams, he used his movement martial art and while still shielding himself from the descending lightning pillars with the tower shield, he flashed to the right.

Now, earlier he should have already learned that with his battle avatar, he can dodge one of the two javelins but thanks to Aisha's capacity to change their trajectory, the second one would catch up with him, and he did, after all someone that even if temporarily and most likely to be used one way or another, was accepted by Ereth to work with and double cross the Lords for whatever goal that hero had in mind, couldn't be a fool.

Not to mention that Arlion controlled the clear water kingdom from the shadows for such a long time too, he left a puppet king such as Triten and created Terry as his vessel, there was the whole thing regarding the angelfish race, as well as Daphne's voice and Grace's memories, the point is that Arlion didn't lack the common sense to learn from his mistakes, unlike the fools Daimon and the others have mostly met so far.

With a "Swoosh", before the second javelin could reach the past king, despite using the same movement martial art as before, he suddenly accelerated into the distance, completely escaping from the dual silver toned javelin, just in time for the silver breaking descend to end as well.

"Armor, two shields, one sword, one spear and now boots, I wonder how many replicas you can manifest", said Aisha.

The origin of Arlion's sudden increase in speed was due to a pair of winged white boots which manifested around the feet of his battle avatar, above the base white armor to be more accurate, that was naturally a magic equipment with the effect to increase agility and speed.

'You aren't the only one who can release multiple instance long ranged attacks', thought Arlion.

"White Wave Breaking Arrow Rain!", he manifested yet another replica, a bow this time, which his battle avatar drew at full force creating a battle aura arrow which he shot alongside a martial art.

As a result, the arrow exploded midway through its travel towards Aisha, producing a rain of smaller sized battle aura arrows, which then spread and moved in complex trajectories in order to reach Aisha from every possible angle, that was the power of that bow, attacks shot with it will chose the best routes to reach their target, automatically, it was a really good effect for a weapon used by a knight which is supposed to have rough manipulation capacities unlike a mage.

"Clang!", of course, a wide area martial art couldn't pierce through Aisha's defensive metal field, especially when Aisha was using the property of the sea devil ore on it, which made the arrows explode upon contact with it, resulting in just a lot of clinking sounds caused by the impulse that the arrows had in them before being nullified.

"Silver Explosive Javelins", Aisha answered by casting the mithril property lightning and metal version of her javelin technique, this time she released three of them though, because she casted the technique with both of her hands, two were shot from her right hand and one was shot from he left one, she simply changed the javelin part of the technique to "javelins" and could use the technique two times in a single go.

"White Wave Breaking Step!", Arlion of course already expected that to be the case, he used his movement martial art to flash away from the trajectory of the javelins and appeared above Aisha's defensive field, the tower shield from earlier was now being held by both of his battle avatar's hands.

"Let's see you cancel this one, White Wave Breaking Crush!", shouted Arlion as he using the momentum gained by the movement martial art, bashed his shield at Aisha's defensive metal field.

"Clang!", the defensive metal field and the tower shield which had the same property in them, fiercely clashed and wore each other out, unfortunately for Arlion, while he had used all his casting chances for this charge, Aisha hadn't, basically because the defensive shield didn't need her to cast it, her pretty wings did it for her, it was an automatic defense ability after all.

Arlion wasn't at fault this time though, as monstrous as Aisha was in his mind, he didn't think that both, the wings were casting the defensive field, and that while keeping the demonite field active which indeed took a casting chance from Aisha, not to mention that she just used the explosive javelin which shot two instances, as she casted it with her right hand where she had the developed casting spot, was not everything Aisha's multicasting amounted to.

"Crack!", accompanied by the shattering sound released by both Aisha's defensive metal field and the tower shield reaching their limits, which required Arlion to use both the tower shield and martial arts by the way, while Aisha's defensive metal field endured all of that just by itself, Aisha's next words were like a nightmare for Arlion.

"Why would I need to, Silver Breaking Javelin", lightning and mithril property metal energy gathered in front of Aisha's mouth and then turned into a dual silver toned lightning stream which nearly hit Arlion's battle avatar head on.

"White Wave Breaking Step!", luckily for him, his multicast which allowed him to use up to three martial arts one after the other, or at the same time, depending on what he wanted to do, allowed him to use his movement martial art to flash away before the explosive javelin hit him right on the face.

'What the hell, that barrier might be maintained by some sort of rule of the blood prison realm, but then there is the metal field, the two instances of that javelin technique and she used it another time just right now, she has developed her multicast all the way to four techniques at the same time, she wasn't even an Arch rank outside of the blood prison realm!', inwardly exclaimed Arlion.

The blood prison realm didn't affect any other aspects besides the energies and techniques used by their participants, therefore things like casting spots, casting chances and the like remained the same as in the outside, so Arlion nearly had a heart attack at the fact that he was seeing someone who wasn't even an Arch rank, have four casting chances for multicast.

It's worth mentioning that he used to have more than three casting chances, but he took over Terry's body and that guy had only developed two casting chances, which is not that bad considering his age, Arlion developed a third one after taking over, but as a knight he had it harder to increase them, not to mention that he had a lot of other things to deal with, so he was stuck at that.

"White Flashing Javelins", as if coming from hell, Aisha's next words returned Arlion to the real world, but before he could react, he who had gained quite the distance from Aisha felt as if his chest was hit by a hammer.

"Crack!", the tower shield as well as the armor protecting Arlion's battle avatar were impacted by two silver lightning streams with a black metallic hue added to them, making both explode on the spot, followed by a third stream which was stopped at the last second by a white cape which appeared on the back of Arlion's battle avatar.

"Booooom!", the attack didn't reach the body of the battle avatar nor Arlion's real body which was inside of it, but the momentum of the silver javelin with a black metallic hue was so high that it sent Arlion's battle avatar flying into the distance, while causing indirect damage to the past king, whose battle avatar heavily landed on the ground a second later.

Arlion was wrong in one thing, the demonite field did take a casting chance from Aisha, it was the defensive field the one that didn't, and worse, her multicast didn't stop at four, Aisha could currently use six techniques one after another.

Those javelins with black metallic hues are the result of adding orichalcum metal energy to them by the way, orichalcum also known as black magic gold has the best energy conductivity among all magic metals known by Aisha, and its property used in the javelin improved the conductivity of Aisha's lightning, thus explosively increasing its speed and the momentum it gains for the same reason, that's why before Arlion noticed, he had already been hit, despite using those boots alongside his movement martial art.

It truly made honor to its name, since as a "flashing" javelin, one second it was casted and the next one it had reached its target already.

"Silver Flashing Descend", naturally Aisha wasn't planning on letting Arlion take a sweet nap, she directly casted her wide area technique, once again with the orichalcum conductivity property which in fact changed the nature of the technique, because the lightning pillars came down from the sky so fast that instead of descending, they looked as if they were shot by a gatling.

"Don't get carried away you bitch!", shouted Arlion who despite getting up almost at the same second when he landed on the ground, and using his movement martial art, without chanting of course, got caught up in the rapidly descending pillars of silver lightning with a black metallic hue added to them.

A new replica made its appearance once again, this time it was a white crown which rested on top of Arlion battle avatar's head, projecting a white-blue battle aura field which blocked each and every of the lightning pillars descending in a five-kilometer area.

Besides the crown, the cape from earlier actually didn't suffer any damage from the flashing javelin, it was the impact the one that sent the battle avatar flying and made Arlion feel pain, but he wasn't really wounded.

The white armor which was destroyed earlier, was regenerated, and its previously pure white color got mixed with the blue color of Arlion's battle aura, the same applied to the battle avatar which was now of a mix of blue and white colors.

Apparently, that was now the natural color of Arlion's battle aura, and of the replicas, because he manifested the sword from before once again and it had that dual white and blue color as well.

"Clear Water Wave Breaking Slash!", apparently his affinity in this state was called "clear water", probably making allusion to the name of the kingdom which he ruled in the past, Arlion made the sword explode in battle aura and then slashed it at Aisha, releasing a one-kilometer sized slashing light, the power of his martial arts had doubled apparently.

"You seem to believe that you actually have a chance to not go all out and survive, so let's speed things up a bit", said Aisha whose pretty violet amethyst eyes shone in a light of the same color.

"Crack!", a combination of dual silver and violet electricity arcs crackled around Aisha's body as she pointed her open right palm frontwards.

"Silver Ruler Explosive Javelin", though the amount of energy gathered by Aisha was actually larger than when she used all the other javelin techniques so far, the stream created this time was actually way smaller, only being around a hundred meters wide, that didn't bring any joy to Arlion, in fact he felt as if he was suffocating for a second, until he reached at his right pocket for something.

"Booooom!", the dual silver-violet lightning stream directly pierced through the incoming martial art as if it was nothing, followed with Arlion's battle avatar and then without even slowing in the slightest, blasted away the left half of Arlion's body in a single go.
