Chapter 1985: My Divine Weapons Slay A Boss For Me
Chapter 1985: My Divine Weapons Slay A Boss For Me

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
“GRUOOOHHH…!”
The boss groaned in agony as three massive holes tore through its body. I quickly realized my Living Weapons might be far more dependable than I had ever imagined.
“You’ve already fought two bosses, Master, so please let the girls handle this one,” Yggdra said, gently caressing my head.
“Yeah, look at them—aren’t they incredible?” Alice asked.
“T-They are… damn…” I gasped.
Armageddon and Nephilim were absolute monsters themselves, fighting alongside Scarlet and Sapphire. Together they formed their own devastating party while everyone else dealt with the smaller monsters to keep them from interfering.
But wasn’t this boss supposed to be insanely strong? What Tier was it?
[Glacial King of the Frozen Kingdom – Curse Of Miasma Corruption Form (Tier 9: Rank 5)]
“T-Tier 9, Rank 5! No—this isn’t something they can handle alone!” I cried, leaping forward. “Alice, Yggdra, come with me— Eh?”
Before I could close the distance, the King suddenly dropped to its knees. Black miasma blood poured from its mouth as dozens of deep slashing wounds shattered its armor.
Pale blue skin emerged beneath—a muscular frame now rapidly being carved apart as Scarlet danced around it relentlessly.
“Hahahaha! Admire the power of the Sword Goddess!”
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
“GUUUAAAAHHHHH!”
The boss couldn’t catch her—she was simply too fast. It summoned a powerful Spiritual Domain like the Dryad had, but Sapphire charged in, shifting to her humanoid form and slamming her entire body into the giant.
CRAAASH!
“NNNGAAA?!”
She was so dense and heavy that she turned herself into a living projectile, piercing straight through the giant’s chest and ripping part of its massive core apart.
RUMBLE!
The titan collapsed to the floor. Its two magical swords rose into the air and fought back on their own.
But then…
Armageddon and Nephilim shot skyward—crimson and golden-purple blurs—crashing into the cursed, ghostly blades. They suppressed them, hurled them downward, and shattered them against the ground.
CRAAASH!
“M-MY SWORDS…!”
As the King groaned, countless frozen curses erupted from its mouth—only for Scarlet to blaze with fury and Sapphire to overflow with azure, dark power.
Both charged at once. Sapphire absorbed the curses while Scarlet struck with full force. Sapphire then unleashed the absorbed damage in a terrifying, super-mega cannon blast!
BOOOMMMM!!!
Before it could even enter a second phase, the Dungeon Boss… was gone.
Both the Sword Goddess and the Shield Goddess returned to their humanoid forms. They sat atop the giant king’s helmet, flashing confident smiles at me.
“We did it, Master!”
“We did it all for you!”
They celebrated, giving thumbs-up and blowing kisses from afar.
“A-Ah… yeah…” I muttered, eyebrows twitching in disbelief. “W-What kind of monsters have I created?”
As they approached, I noticed the boss still wasn’t fully dead!
FLUOSH!
A ghostly specter surged from the monster’s ruined body—half miasma, half frozen storm—with dozens of arms and dozens of cursed ice weapons.
[The Glacial Cavern Dungeon Final Boss: [Glacial King of the Frozen Kingdom – Curse Of Miasma Corruption Form (Tier 9: Rank 5)] has activated its final ability {Cursed Miasmic Frost Rebirth}, transforming into a [Cursed Frost Specter King (Tier 9: Rank 6)]. All Stats have increased by an additional 300%!]
“Are you kidding me?!” I gasped, quickly summoning a pair of swords with Holy Divine Thunder Armament Creation and aiming at the approaching giant.
But…
“GRAAAAHHHH!”
FLASH!
Out of nowhere, another colossal giant erupted from Sapphire’s own magic—an embodiment of her evolved abilities.
A massive golem resembling a bulky humanoid in heavy armor, its helmet-like head empty except for glowing red eyes.
Six gigantic metallic, cursed, and ghostly limbs extended from its frame. It punched the spectral ghost king dozens of times, tearing holes straight through its soul.
This purple-hued golem was the newly evolved form of the summon Sapphire had always possessed. She had originally been a Coral Golem Shield I obtained in a dungeon.
Through her many evolutions, the golem had transformed alongside her—growing from a single, fairly weak summon into something far greater.
I hadn’t used it much before because it was slow and relatively weak compared to her.
Now it was an entirely different entity. Sharing her stats and divinity, it had evolved into a Divine Guardian in its own right.
Checking her status again, the skill had changed to…
[Abyssal Mithril Golem Guardian: Lv10] → [Abyssal Cursed Divine Orichalcum Golem Titan Guardian: Erebus: Lv1]
From a simple dark-element mithril golem—honestly fairly weak—it had become an Abyssal Cursed Divine Orichalcum Golem Titan Guardian.
And it had gained a name: Erebus!
It radiated immense cursed and divine power combined. Now a titan over a hundred meters tall—larger even than the spectral king—it was nearly invincible. It pummeled the monster with fiery, cursed fists.
The boss fought back desperately, but Erebus summoned a Sea of Abyssal Shadows from its body—transforming it into dozens of fists, tentacles, chains, and curses.
Unable to withstand the relentless onslaught, the second phase of the dungeon’s final boss perished. Erebus drove a fist through its Soul Core, shattering and tearing the entire soul to pieces.
“GRYYAAAAAHHH!”
With an agonizing, wailing cry of despair, the monstrous specter king was forcibly erased from existence. Its soul shattered into dozens of glass-like, crystallized fragments.
BOOOOMMM!!!
And just like that, the final boss of this dungeon was defeated… by my ridiculously overpowered Divine Weapons and Sapphire’s “son”—her beloved golem summon, Erebus, who had evolved from a humble Coral Golem into what he was now.
“Well done, Erebus!” Sapphire said, flying to his side and sitting on his shoulder. She patted his massive, helmet-shaped head.
“GROOOHH…!” Erebus roared. “Did… I do… good job… mother?”
“Yes you did, dear! Haha! I’m so glad you can finally talk!” Sapphire chuckled, kissing his enormous helmet head.
“Hehe…” Erebus spoke in a loud, booming voice yet acted like a shy young child—fidgeting adorably under the praise. “Mama… praised me…”
I walked toward the group as they celebrated their victory. Hundreds of glowing dropped items waited to be collected.
The boss had especially left behind a huge pile of Boss Soul Orbs and Spirit Orbs, along with a large treasure chest full of new loot.
“Well done, everyone!” I said with a wide, genuine smile. “You completely outdid yourselves today! That was fucking awesome! Seriously—well done, all of you!”
“Hahah, see, Master? We’re super strong now!” Sapphire said with a cocky grin.
“We can handle small fry like this no problem,” Scarlet nodded. “So from now on, just sit back and relax. We’ll do all the work.”
“W-What?! I can’t just let you do everything! Sometimes I’ll let you take the lead, but I still need to fight—how else am I supposed to grow? You grow alongside me, so we’d stagnate if I did nothing,” I shrugged. “Anyway… that was incredible! You two are amazing. I never thought you could take down the final boss so easily… and Erebus too? You’re insanely strong! And you can talk now!”
